Don't have your tickets yet? Online sales are closed, but we will have tickets available for sale at the door (cash only). Prices are $94 for the full three day pass, and $69 for Friday or Saturday. All of Sunday's events are open to the public.

HEADLINING BANDS
We are very pleased to announce the addition of Behind the Scenes to the Blacksun Festival line-up!
Behind the Scenes is a well-established German Goth/Rock band that is relatively unknown in the US. We think you'll be pleasantly surprised by their performance. To listen to their music, click the Jukebox link on our Web site.

We are still taking submissions for advertising space in the official Blacksun Program Guide. In addition to purchasing an ad in the Program Guide, our friends at Carpe Nocturne have offered a free 6-month web banner in their Blacksun Coverage Feature. See the Program Guide page for details. The deadline for Program Guide submissions is February 11th.

PHOTO SAFARI
The Photo Safaris are back for Blacksun IV!
New Haven and the Yale campus feature beautiful architecture, which perfectly complements Blacksun attendees who like to dress to the nines. Whether you like to model or take photos, the Photo Safaris will be a fun time mugging for the camera while discussing modeling and photography techniques with Tammy, Blacksun's photographer. Tentative meeting times are Saturday at 4 PM in front of Toad's Place, and Sunday at noon next to Alchemy. Photo Safaris generally take around one hour, and shooting location suggestions are welcome! DANCES OF VICE
The Blacksun Festival is happy to announce a partnership with the Dances of Vice festival this February 8-9th. The following is a description of the festival and on-going events:
Dances of Vice invites all modern dandies, decadents, aesthetes, artists, thinkers, and dreamers to join us on February 8th and 9th for the 2008 Dances of Vice Festival in New York City! Day One of the festival will possess our regular 1920-30s edge, while Day Two of the festival will feature a distinctly gothic Victorian flair. In addition to our roster of sensational live entertainment, Dances of Vice will also feature a number of exciting vendors, an art exhibition, and a vintage Polaroid photo booth, with numerous giveaways and prizes to be distributed throughout course of the event. Since our debut in August 2007, our aim has been to enrich the New York art culture by promoting the music and art we love, and to generate interest and appreciation for the beauty of times forgotten. We are not historical re-constructionists; Dances of Vice seeks to revive the music and performance culture of the past in a modern context, encouraging originality and creativity.

ROTERSAND NOTICE
"Unfortunately Rotersand and [:SITD:] will not be participating in this year's festival.
Below is the official statement from Rotersand:
"As many of you have realized by now, we have decided to cancel our
United States tour planned for March 2008 with SITD. The background for that
is the cancellation of two Canadian Rotersand shows in October 2007 on shortest
notice due to a combination of a huge personal workload and
constitutional weakness. Since we can not rule out a similar situation for the
originally scheduled shows in 2008 we have decided to not take this risk.
We absolutely hate cancelling shows and disappointing fans and
promoters, especially as we are well aware of the great demand for Rotersand
playing in the States and Canada. We are working on setting up a new timeframe for
touring activities in North America sometime in the not too distant
future."
