3 years...3 years I had been living this life. I've been with him for 3 whole years tonight.
We arrived at [name of gig here] just as the second band finished their set. We met up with the rest of the crew then. Bones* was amped as all bloody fuck to see me, as usual. It almost made me smile to know some one acknowledged me as a human being, an equal, and rejoiced at my presence.
Salem~ shrugged his bass on as we walked into the back room of this shit hole. It wreaked like beer, piss, and vomit. A remanence of the past i suppose. Josh* was sitting in the far corner. He was the quiet type. The only time I think I'd ever seen him show any form of passion was as he was bashing his sticks off his kit.
He was an amazing drummer. Come to think of it, they were all great musicians. I had prayed many nights that they would finally get the recognition they deserved. Then it wouldn't be like this.
As my mind was wondering around the room, I felt warmth on my cheek.
"We're up babe."
"Good luck.." I said half shocked. He was hardly ever this affectionate. It hit me then. He remembered. The gift, the mellow nature, that kiss. He remembered that it had been exactly three years tonight.

i don't like either one of them but that's because i don't believe in a democratic society...
especially the US.
it is IN FACT a monetary system...
which if researched PROPERLY you will find is BAD.
i'll attempt to explain a bit..[typed it out while watching zeitgeist for further distribution.]
so the US decides it needs some money,
so it calls up the federal reserve.
it requests say 10 billion dollars.
the fed replies, sure we'll buy 10 billions dollars in govt. bonds.
so the govt. takes some pieces of paper paints some official looking designs on the and calls them treasury bonds. then it puts a value on these bonds to the sum of 10 billion dollars and sends them over to the fed. in turn the fed draws up a bunch of impressive pieces of paper themselves only this time calling the federal reserve also designated of 10 billion dollars to the senate. the fed then takes these notes and trades them for the bonds. once this exchange is complete the govt takes the 10 billion in federal reverse notes and deposits it into a bank account and upon this deposit the paper notes become legal tender..paper money,. adding 10 billion to the us money supply. and there it is..10 billion in new money has been created. of course this example is a generalization for in reality this transaction would occur electronically, with no paper money at all. in fact only 3% of the US money supply exists physically. the other 97% essentially exists in computers alone.now govt. bonds by design are instruments of debt. and when the fed purchases these bonds with money it essentially created out of thin air the govt. is actually promising to pay back that money to the fed. in other words the money was created at a debt. this mind numbing paradox of how money or value can be debt or liability will become more clear as you view the zeitgeist movies i've posted...the second one goes over this actually.
