 Een banaan is een langwerpige, licht gebogen vrucht, die afkomstig is van de bananenplant. In Suriname spreekt men van bacove als het om de vrucht gaat die rechtstreeks uit de schil gegeten kan worden en van banaan als het om groene bakbananen gaat. In Indische gerechten wordt de banaan meestal pisang genoemd, dit is het Maleisische woord voor de vrucht. Een bananenplant of bananenboom is in werkelijkheid een kruid, `s werelds grootste kruid (kruidachtige). Volgens de tuinbouwkundige definitie wordt de banaan echter tot de groenten gerekend. Volgens de culinaire definitie is het echter een vrucht, omdat de banaan als nagerecht dan wel als tussendoortje wordt gegeten.

School started again a month ago and now the daily life is going on again, and I'm not even that bored. I feel happier now. One year ago I had so much troubles, I couldn't concentrate on school so I had really bad grades, my friends left me when I needed them so much, don't even try to imagine how hard, and especially boring that was for me.
I prepared myself for another schoolyear but when it started, I discovered life can be ok. I found out who my real friends are and I stopped expecting miracles that wouldn't happen anyway. I'm laughing again, trapped all the worries out of my head so I can concentrate on other things, like school, friends and enjoying life.
Thanks for everyone who didn't left me, you are my real friends.
