Mom recently notified me that since I've been home the power bill has doubled. So with that, I've been scarce online over the past week. There's a lot of stuff I have to get done in my cults, but I wanted to let her cool down first so she doesn't have more reason to yell at me for using the computer and stuff so much. I'll try to get everything done before the weekend.
Laptop won't turn on. I think it's just the battery, but I can't use it until I look into getting a new one tomorrow. I really need a new laptop, but that's not gonna happen anytime soon, so hopefully I can find a new battery. .__. This desktop computer is reallllly shitty. Cross your fingers for me~
Merry Christmas to everyone! I hope everyone made it through the holidays. I know there can be much stress throughout this time, but I hope you're all enjoying yourselves, and have a great New Year!
It's unreal that we've lost 4 family members this year, since August alone. Hopefully 2012 won't be as bad. We thought maybe my cousin's wife (they live two houses down from us, and have pretty much my whole life) would make it through Christmas, but unfortunately she succumbed to ovarian cancer early this morning and passed away. It's weird to think she won't be around anymore; she was so nice, and the grandkids will miss her. So close to Christmas too, and the funeral's on Friday. I hope nothing else goes wrong this year.
Well I decided to go out for a walk today, the first one in a little while because I recently got my flu shot and was waiting for it to take hold in case I got a little sick. The sun was glaring down pretty bad and it's hard to see the screen display on my MP3 player when the sun's out, so I was concentrating on it pretty hard while I was walking.
Walked into a god damn sidewalk sign. Like, a construction one or something. Big ass flourescent, orange sign with weird metal frames...and I just somehow didn't even see the damn thing. Sprawled out like a boss, rolled to the side, then got up like nothing happened. But I paid for my stupidity, as I now have a sore wrist (which luckily caught me when I fell or I would have face-planted), a sore/cramped arm, and two cut up and swollen/bruised knees. Hurts to walk and I'm gonna feel it for a WHILE.
Guess that'll teach me to not look where I'm walking. D8
