Ok so I have been super busy with litters of kits(baby rabbits) being born, chicks&ducklings hatching, preparing for a rabbit show in my hometown, trying to rehabilitate a goat that was neglected that also has a horrible fear of humans, do home repairs, and get my garden going all while working a full time job. VF has been the least of my worries at this point. Those of you who are friends with me on facebook may see me on there a lot more, as I promote my farm using facebook. I can't use VF to do that and also VF doesn't have an app for my iphone to make it easier for me to get on here. My internet provider is waiting for my credit check and check to clear before they will come out and install my dish and modem for me to have unlimited internet at home.
I just wanted to make sure that my friends on here knew what was going on and that I am not dead. I am far from that luckily.
When you are independent and a go getter like I am other things do fall to the way side.
Well my good friend found 6 abandon baby wild hares in her yard. Mother had them then left them scattered in the grass. So the babies are in a box with a heating pad waiting for me to get home. I will put them on to one of my younger currently nursing does and let her raise them. Goal is not to get them accustomed to humans so in 6-8 weeks I can release them back into the wild. In my area the hare is becoming harder and harder to come by due to over hunting and natural predators. The hunting in my area has all but stopped since the drop in population so I figured I will give it a helping hand.
Ok so as some of you know I breed, raise, and show rabbits. I also breed/raise goats, chickens, and ducks. But I have my first major show coming up THIS MONTH! I have had no luck with making my own logo. I can see it in my head, but I lack the programs to be able to make my logo.
So here is where the help wanted comes in!
I am looking for someone who can do me a huge favor and create a logo for me using the images I send them along with color scheme.
I can't really afford to pay someone very much, but what I can offer is advertisement at the shows and on my website with YOUR contact info to bring in actual paying customers.
If someone is willing to help me out that would be great. I am wanting to print off the logo on biz cards and on my show apron.
Piper and Cassy both had their litters today! They all look to be healthy babies and none were DAB(dead at birth). I am totally stoked about it. Dixie is due around the 3rd, Dutchess is due after Dixie, Miss Harly is due around the 11th, Velvet is due closer towards the end of May, and Baby Doll is due at the end of May. 90% of the up coming litters are spoken for which is nice.
Finally I have a day off with no one demanding my time. I have some doe's due and some are actually over due. But I am just laying here in bed. For some fucked up reason I first woke up at like 5:30am so I went back to sleep. But now the ducklings and chicks are making their hungry noises from there little cages in the living room. I honestly hope that by the time the other eggs start to hatch that it is a constant warm tempature outside and that the cage I hAve in mind is built. Cause I dont want any more chicks in the house. Well I think I will go and get dressed and see I have any cute little naked baby bunnies in the barn.
