Best Week Ever!

i had the greatest week in my life! i was so busy i never had a day off except thursday.
well it all started Saturday, not last but the sat before that. my little sister in law was having her first bday party and her mom called me to help decorate. we spent about 2 hours decorating and it looked very cute. we hit IHOP after that with a friend, who invited us to come over Monday to celebrate Allen's bday.
Sunday we had lunch with my parents to celebrate Allen's bday. the we went to the bday party for my sis in law.
Monday we went over our friend Cory's house to have dinner. he is a wonderful cook. so we had a very nice spaghetti dinner complete with salad, rolls, and wine. i baked allen a bday cake for desert and it turned out great for my first try. Cory's mom is a friend of ours so we took her some cake too.
Tuesday we went over my other sis in law's(the oldest one) house and they had for Allen a 16 inch cookie cake and ordered 100 hot wings for dinner. i think he had a great birthday this year!
Wednesday: we spent the night and the next morning we got up early to go to the MidSouth Fair. we spent hours there. we took my niece's and nephew with us and i took alot of pictures. yeah i dont ride rides. i dont like heights that much but i HATE falling from them. we played games and Allen won me a big green frog and i won a penguin. we had so much fun.
Thursday i was scheduled to take mom to the doctor but dad took her instead so i relaxed that night.
Friday i had to work for my papaw and that night we, mom, dad, us, mimi and papaw, were going to a play. The Miracle Worker, which my papaw sponsored that play so they gave him a small role in the play! he did good. theplay was awesome. better than the movie id say.
Saturday me, allen, his best friend Shaun, his friend Josh and Josh's sister all went to Mud Island to 93X FEst. bands that played there were Shinedown, Sevendust, P.O.D., Saving Abel, and Buckcherry. i bought a Sevendust shirt and beanie. god we had so much fun! by the time it was over we were all half deaf, sore, and hoarse. but id have to say that was the best week ever!

ok today i heard alot about the hurricane Ike and how it was gonna hit Texas and stuff. well i was talking to Allen and he sudenly was shocked about something. Gas in memphis went up to $4 a gallon. it was only 3.40-3.50 range that morning so it jumped .60 cents. suddenly there was a mad rush at the gas stations. everyone in the county was at the pumps before the prices got up too high. the employees had to direct traffic off the streets and wrap around the parking lot. unfortunately me and dad were the ones who needed gas this day. great -_-
so i went to an Exxon and they were actually out of gas. so i went to schnuks and waited in line for a pump to open. dad on the other hand almost was in a fight cause this d bag was being an ass. and he was on third street (downtown memphis), only white guy there, and well im glad he's alive and walking. i think he is too cause he was pretty shaken up. whoot GO DAD!!!
anyway i hope you got gas today cause who knows whats going to happen tomorrow. and please be safe cause people get crazy O_O

mmkay so i turned 22 yesterday but i started parting on tuesday. me and hubby Allen got a hotel room at Sams Town Casino in Tunica, MS. i invites a few friends over to party and gamble with us and they said they would come.so we get to the hotel and one of the guys said he couldnt make it cause he didnt have enough money or gas and stuff. one down. we get to the hotel and they swipe allens credit card and it declined. wha? it has 100 bucks on it dont know why it declined. so we used another card with 100 bucks onit and it declined too. wtf? she only authorized it for 55.17 so it shouldnt decline. we ended up using our playing money to pay for the room.  we got more.
we get up to the room and its friggin hot. we cant figure out the A/C so we turn it down to 60 degrees F and leave to meet everyone for dinner. well only one person showed up and it was his sister. out of 6 invited friends only one shows up. pathetic. anyway so we went to the buffet to eat dinner. and guess what the card declined again. she instead punched in the numbers manually and it worked. maybe its the machines or something. after eating we headed back up to our room to get our swimsuits and head to the pool. its raining outside and its night time but who cares. so we went to the hot tub and freezing cold pool. it was fun until it started lightning so we got out.
went to his sister's hotel room and got the night started with a big bottle of Bahama Mama. after 3 8oz glasses Allen was drunk. i didnt feel anything but a buzz. so we took the shuttlebustot he Harrah's casinoand went to theslot machines. afterplaying a little bit all thelights out! including the machines. they cut back on and butall the machines are down and i still got 13 dollarsinside the machine. i had to wait for someone to come and restart my machine. so when i got down to 7 dollars i went to my favorite penny machine and got up to 30 dollars. i cashed out and started playing another 20, turned that into 31 dollars  . Allen all the while is still waiting for someone to reset his machine. he ended up waiting 2 hours later. so me and merissa, his sis, sat with him and kept ordering drinks. 1 strawberry daquiri, 2 smirnoffs, 2 long island iced tea, 1 shot of tequila later, and that was just me, he gets his money and a free buffet for waiting so long. which is great to a drunk person. we ended up getting back most of our money that night.
we go back to her hotel room and played around with my new camera that allen bought me. ill put the pictures up. so we got to our room at 5:30 in the morning, its still hot up here, and got about 5 hours of sleep. next day we went to waffle house for breakfast then went swimming again and just chilled out until my nieces and nephews arrived to play at the arcade. we went to dinner, the card declined again >_>, his grand parents ended up paying for us. a gift to me. and then we left and went home for the night. despite all that happened i sure did have a blast!

I feel blessed/ my advice on marriage

something i have noticed lately:
i have three friends who have gotten married just because they have a baby together and now each one of them are getting divorce or someone cheats on the other. Arthur and Jamaica were married while she was pregnant. they had a quick engagement and it was quite a shock to hear aout their wedding so quickly around the corner. they have been married for a litle over a year i think and now they cant stand eachother. Arthur has another girl on the side now and Jamaica well i dont know too much about her. Davie and wife were married over a year maybe 2 and had a baby before they got married. she cheated on him and he has a girlfriend now. dont know if he wants the kid or not. Matt and Olivia were married a little over a year and she had his kid before they were married. things were a little rocky and every couple has arguments. but then he caught her cheating on him and neglecting the baby. he's raising moneyfor a divorce and custody over the kid and declaring her an unfit mother.
we are the only ones that has a successful marriage. we waited a long time to get married so we would know "this is the person i want to spend the rest of my life with". i see all of my friends around me getting divorces and cheating on eachother that i feel so blessed to have my husband, someone that God had promised for me. i think we have a strong bond because we have God in our lives and that we have a strong bond with eachother.
my advice on marriage:
marriage is about work, its a job that you have to go to everyday and make things better in your life. you cant have a fight and end it all there and then make up for it later, this isnt high school. sure we have our moments where we want to kill eachother but we work it out together. communication is the key as well as love. its important you talk to eachother and share what you feel is wrong and right about your relationship. To those who are pregnant and are getting married: DONT DO IT. dont mary this person because you are having his kid, marry because you want to be with him for the rest of your life. children DO NOT make marriage better. dont rush a marriage because of children, not only does it ruin your life but his life, and your kids' life.
