For the righteous shall drive their swords into the chests of the unworthy unbelievers, in an attempt to cleanse their soul and impact on the purity of the community.
It is the justice that a God can bring that leads the hands and actions of men to take it upon themselves to slay those who would stray from the path of enlightenment and corrupt the truth, reveiled into the fires of wisdom.
The search of something far greater then one's puny little existence has caused wars, wars of grand design, as it will always be, meant to be. It is those dark despairing times that will open the hearts of humans to the reality of the universe, the understanding of all that is, was and will become. Lessons of days gone by teach us that war is inevitable, and we can but alter the course they will take to serve the great design.
To open the eyes of mankind, to make our race glorious in the eyes of the Gods.
The Heretics will be hunted down, the unbelievers converted and the stubborn proud laid low.

Hallowed are the Ori!

The new age has been granted a name, rare for usually an age can only be branded after it ended, however, the feeling is right, the power is revealed.
It is the Age of Truth.

One goal remains, and I won't recruit online. I shall begin a New Order in name of the Age of Truth. The Inquisition.
Hailed shall be the 10.
The seal of faith, progress and above all truth.

I stand ready to embark upon holy crusade once again.
Roaming through the lands of imagination, I shall make my way, to a promised land by ways of discovery, nothing can stand in my way, all shall bow.
Make your ammends now, repent your sins, for the Lord himself is moving once again.
Throw off the shackles, raise to the sky your hands so free. The embrace of beauty, the warmth of sights.
Now, the sun shines ever so bright.
For the Gods and glory! For the mightiest of steel and may the heavens guide me on my path!

Are you ready?

Lord Kele Cheney of Agonia.

The truth of Evondeer November 25, 2008, 10:37:am
The truth of Evondeer: Summary and included notes of the author.

I have read The truth of Evondeer as assigned intelectual and theoritical analysis.
I enjoyed the story and the proof they present, but I was not fully convinced of the matter, however the more I read, the more sense it made.

9500 years ago, when the times were those of grand rebuild and rediscovery after the Dark Age, Fourtop was in turmoil, discontent by the restrictions the laws gave to make sure the darkness would not befall mankind any longer. Men and women voiced out of the rediculous taxes and ban of commercial wealth.
Though these precautions may be just and true, as greed, power and lust could result in just that one age returning. Nobody remembers, noone truly cared anymore, or not all at least. Gathering in secret, trying to form plans to change the laws of the lands and cities once again, groups of people from all of the region, townsfolk, farmers, soldiers, nobles and even a prince met at Lurend hills, the geographical middle of Fourtop, so noone could be late if they left at the agreed time. Hence most were accounted for, the prince, one of Evondeer led the meeting into order, discussing what could be done, what should be done, and what they eventually wanted to accomplish if the truth of old had been restored.
It became clear that a true agreement could never be accomplished, as they were alike, but so different. The ones hailing from Diem wanted nothing more but the rights to wield and use their swords once again, whilst the Evonderaans could not see why, as their mindset is firmly locked into defensive ways.
That Diem envoy left the meeting early, refusing to have anything to do with those upstuck materialistic whinebags of mankind and had enough of their homeland, they declared to travel east, untill they would reach the oceans one again. As rumour goes, these where the first to set foot on Agonian soil, wether they emerged as the founders of Agonia, or joined them is a matter left to debate.
The remaining parties cared little and continued arguing and conflicting until a scream had been heard, watchmen and soldiers of Fourtop emerged from the surrounding bushes, engaging the consiparators, killing and capturing whoever they could find. The chaos as result made sure a number of them could manage to escape, mainly those of Evondeer, as their defensive nature had made them be able to have already seen possible ways to escape and retreat. It are those that will prove to be the ones of great importance to future history to be.
Back in Evondeer, the prince and three of his nobles once again gathered, this time in public, to avoid the confrontation with the supressive goverment, as legend has it, they met at the south side of the third wall, on a plaza with a fountain dedicated to Aquala.
(it is in fact the remarquable similarity between this plaza and the Valorim royal courtyard that lead to many investigations about the origin of Valorim)
They decided that the ways could not be changed without sacrifice of blood, their blood that is. There were then but a handful of choices left and the most prominent one was that of like the Diems, leave to new lands and build paradise city. The way was unsure, unsafe and unlike anything men from Evondeer would consider lightly, as leaving the safety of their walls would be close to commiting heresy and almost guaranteed suicide. the verdict was clear, they would go east, like the others.
They met up with their underlings and numbered a few thousand strong in number, they atracted attention ofcourse as they left the gates, and before they could leave the last of the gates they were halted by the army. A lowerranking lord emerged and stepped boldly towards the prince, announcing they had known everything they had planned. After some nerves sprung up with the nobles, he then declared further to say that their plan was inadequate, and he knows a far more suitable way, south, to the flat, green, fertile lands of the White County, he'd assign a few soldiers to the group, if they but took him with them, they agreed hastily, armed protection was valuable, especially if the stories of the outside world were to be true.
They now numbered almost 1600 people, and set forth to the south, across mountains and untill the greenlands with white flowers of the White County deemed before them like heavens before a believer. they followed a river they saw at the horizon, but before they reached the seas we know are there, they halted, as a stone with seven smaller stones around it was seen before them, it was a sign for these evonderaans, as they recognised it as their old homes, which they left so long ago. They set down and cleared the area, building the first homes to the new town, which was named Vankor Opmis, to the glory of the prince.

Editorial note: It may seem unlike what was suggested at first, as Vankor Opmis seems nowhere near Valorim, but in fact names and expressions change through out time, and it is know for a fact that 8000 years ago Valorim was named Vanlor Immis, from that point the name is unmistakable Valorim.
It is still a question of the events I summarised here are the truth, as they were derived from etchings years after the founding and partially from a tale told to children of Evondeer, in which the ones that fled the city were struck down by the Goddess.
It is however very likely that this is how Valorim and hence Ardania came to be, as some still claim that Ardanians are as paranoid as Evonderaans.

Ardanian Records of other natives on Avalona.

Introduction to Fourtop.

To our north lay the ancient lands of Fourtop, rougly speaking a loose alliance of four great cities. Loran, Diem, Waterfalls and Evondeer, they were the first settled humans and predates Ardanian civilization by millenia. Each of the four great cities has been blessed by a naturalii krep, or natural God, Flammus, Aquala, Aerophos and Terra. Waterfalls has been blessed by Aquala, it is a city build between waterfalls and on a delta of twelve arms. Diem has been blessed by Flammus, located on the east of the fourtop region, it lies near the foot of a great volcano. Loran, blessed by Aerophos is the western of the four, it has been built upon a grand suspended rock, which Aerophos raised from the ground to protect his people better. The floating rock is home to the elite and spiritual of Loran. Evondeer is the south city, blessed by Terra it is constructed on a mountain, and surrounded by seven walls, Nearly impenetrable.
However allied, they do fight amongst themselves in name of a decadent pride. They see warfare as barbaric but essential and when done it has to be clean and no risk for the better parts of their society. Nobles are held back from the fields and the average soldier, though trained well and disiplined, has to be seen from afar, as no high rankings were to be taken out by assasins. This has a result that when a fourtop army marches on the field, they're always visible by extravagant colours, one color per city. Waterfalls is bright blue, Loran is white, Diem is fiery red and Evondeer is yellow.
Their visiblity has been mocked by the Ardanians and Agonians alike, referring to them as rediculously overdressed.
The somewhat popostrous appearance of their armed forces is not the complete story, for they do wield succces with their tactics and prowess. Each city has its own specialty, and those combined is a near lethal army, a force to be reckoned with and destroying a contingent of Fourtop is far from a laugh.
Ardania and Fourtop have shared their clashes in the past, with changing success. It is their decadent pride that has be used against them, when they set up camp they do so by city, not as a whole, target one or two of the city camps, leaving the others unharmed, they will grow suspicious of each other and bicker amongst themselves. This tactic does not always work ofcourse.
The special abilities per city is directly linked to their patron God, Loran has some fine archers, the elite are Aerions, wielding a bow, a crossbow and a feather like sword. The Evondeers are primarily defence based, having big, strong shield, though lightweight, their weaponry is sickle shaped. The Elites of them are the Kresterra. Diem has some of the finest swordsmen, whose fiery blades forged by the heat of the volcano are stronger, sharper and neather then those of the Agonians. Indeed, Agonians frequently has raided fourtop to loot swords here. The Fireblades, as the strongest and finest Diander forces are called are a true menace. Waterfalls and their Waterbeards, they are armed lightly, with a trident, they are highly mobile, flexible like the water they represent, often seen on horses, they are fast and deadly.

Though they are all different, they are united by culture, their faith is different but the same, the four elementarii are at their finest when united and the humans below emenate that by their alliance. Temples to their patron god may be the biggest and most ornate, around that one, there shall always be a shrine dedicated to the others.
In an attempt to hold back the threat posed by the centre, they did not like Ardanians, Agonians or Relenans sent in strike forces to destroy nearby lairs and dens, they have constructed a wall where the mountains become plains, desert and hills, the wall of Doog, built and maintained by Evondeer, armed by Loran and Diem, supplied by Waterfalls, it is a proud testament to what they can do as one. Where they not so stuck in arrogance and decadence, they could indeed subdue many of us.
Their cities are often fine pieces of art, marble houses, granite streets, gold, silver, gemstone are seen throughout the cities, at least in the upscale residences and temples. Outsiders are welcome, but will nearly always be escorted or scrutinised with foul looks when moving through golden gates.

If legend be true, it were the finest minds of these grand cities that subdued evil millenia ago, how is unknown, as we all know when evil struck it was during the dark age, where very little records have survived and fear prohibited the writing of evil references, as they might contain a lingering shard of invocation, raising them once again, a shattered world was left, and it were on those ruins that the prosperity of Fourtop grew even higher and Ardania had begun to emerge to become a true power on Avalona.
Their mages, priests are far more devout then ours, as they see their God as the direct link to their survival and prosperity, their Gods-given right to wealth and growth.
