Cultus Ferox, Adivarius & Rabenschrey Concerts October 05, 2008, 09:24:am
Wow, the last weeks are so full of music it's difficult to believe!#

First there were Eisbrecher with Jesus on Extasy (I reportedon it)

Then this Thursday there were Cultus Ferox. They have been here last year with Volkstrott, too, and then it was great! Well, this time it wasn't as good as last year, bacause there were just few people and not so much atmosphere. Unfortunately there was no aftershow party, too!
Another thing was the bad sound in Scheune, which I already noticed at the Jesus on Extasy concert. But don't think it was bad!
Nevertheless they made the best of it, the music was great and it's not their fault that there were so less people... ad somebody else told, the Eisbrecher concert was expensive and lots of people just didn't have enough money. So All in All I can only tahe my hat off to them!

-----------

After that I had a calm friday, which was good because I would need energy for the next Concert... wich was saturday, when first Adivarius and then Rabenschrey performed... in Schüttorf!

There were not much more people than at the Cultus Ferox concert. This has to become better! If nobody goes to concerts here, nobody will come to us, I fear!

Back to topic, the Support band was Adivarius. They played music like on medieval events or markets. Just drums and bagpipes. And they were amazing and everybody had a nice time! I didn't expect them to be that good, so I was surprised positively. Hope I will hear about them again!

Then Rabenschrey started to play. First it was a bit strange because they were quite different from their support, but at the latest with "Hey wir sind Heiden" everybody was enthusiastic! (Well, I don't think that anybody needet that much time...)
Rabenschrey played new and old songs, of course some evergreens and also covers (for example one of "Highway to hell. They said "Weg nach Walhall" instead, lol). A very good mix.

I loved the atmosphere there, expecially because most of the people there were nice and the bands themselves every now and then talked to their audience, made jokes and were really relaxed. Also there was no one in the bands who was unnoticed, which I think is important, too.

Another important thing was the sound quality at the "Komplex", it was MUCH better than at "Scheune"! The lights were better, too.
The only thing I didn't like were some wannabe newbies who stardet "headbanging" (huh?! Medieval Music and headbanging??) and the fact that I could not stay at the aftershow party. But at least I was there!

-----------

So, at the end I can say it was a funny and nice evening. If one of these bands will play here again, I will surely be there!

And now I wish you a nice day, evening or whatever.

Greeting from the Zombie!
Mood: Good and amused
Music: Rabenschrey - Wir waren die ersten
