Most of you will already know this, but for those who don't, I got engaged to my beloved other half on Saturday. I'm obscenely happy and I feel like everything's finally coming together. :-)

This is shocking...I found two emails in my inbox this morning saying that fiction submissions have been accepted! You can find The Midas Box at Bending Spoons, here, while My Bleeding Heart and Bleed them Dry are soon to appear at Fictionville! In other news, look at what I made last night in Illustrator!

Alice and I were browsing eBay this morning for WWE related stuff, specifically since Alice collects the figures, when we came across this - a ring in which to stage matches between your little plastic men. But check out the description - does that mean that if I assemble the ring and put toys of the Undertaker and Triple H in there, they'll literally come to life?

Apparently copies of Robbie Williams' failed last album, Rudebox, are going to be crushed, recycled and used to resurface roads. Finally - Mr Williams has a use.

Amy Winehouse has finally changed that ridiculous hairstyle of hers. Hopefully next to change will be her stupid makeup. But is that a Cry Baby T-shirt I spy?!

Nelly Furtado

That terrible song by Nelly Furtado just came on the radio - you know the one, where she keeps bleating on that "You don't mean nothing at all to me"...and I've finally realised what my problem is with it (despite the fact it's naff as all hell). First of all, the person evidentally DOES mean something. After all, she's said the person doesn't mean nothing, therefore they must mean something. Besides which, if the person about which she wrote the song really did mean nothing to her...then why is she singing about them? Surely the best way of proving someone means nothing is by ignoring them? Pah, pop music sucks.
