SPANIARD IS READY FOR WAR June 10, 2008, 08:12:pm
New weapons, training with ex-SAS veteran and world champions - aye, I'm about ready.
ENGLAND, BEWARE ! January 25, 2008, 12:01:am
I'm flying down to Bournemouth for another Dan Inosanto seminar this weekend, so that'll be brilliant - not every day you get to train with a living legend ! If it's anything like the last seminar, then I'll be a bloody state by the time I come back, but I'll be a slightly more enlightened bloody state.
I'm just thankful that I'm flying down rather than using ground transport as I'd rather not spend 10 hours on the road.

In any case, roll on saturday !
Mood: Buzzing, strangely enough.
Music: Haven't the foggiest
I am officially badass. December 17, 2007, 07:49:pm
Well, I passed the JKD grading 10 days ago - that means I'm ranked in three martial arts now : Yellow tab in JKD, Green belt (8th kyu) in Ninjutsu and 1st Dan in Shotokan (Should have been 2nd Dan, but politics dictated otherwise).

14 years now : that's two-thirds of my life that I've spent training, and long may it continue !
Mood: Accomplished
Music: Dethklok - Go into the water
Broken bones > Viruses December 01, 2007, 04:20:pm
Well, I've come on leaps and bounds after breaking my collarbone - 2.5 weeks after the accident, I went straight back to training and after five weeks I went back to full contact. I've got a grading on Friday as well, which I have every hope of passing.

Bizarrely enough, I've managed to pick up a Norovirus (I'm told that it's even affected the boys over in Afghanistan)and a possible kidney infection to boot. I first felt the effects on Wednesday morning, but by Thursday evening I felt well enough to train and so off I went. I went to my bed after training and then spent my 10 hours of "sleep" making ridiculously frequent trips to the bathroom.

The doctor told me that training whilst ill was wholly idiotic, and that I shouldn't be lulled into a false sense of security again. I'm told that 5-6 days of rest should take care of the Norovirus, but the lab results concerning the second infection are due on Monday.
I'm not exactly stressed about the outcome though, as I'm going to my grading come hell or high water.

TL;DR

lol, AIDS
