I've been thinking lately about how much our society has changed to embrace the fear. Let me explain. Back in the 1950s from what we have seen or heard about it scary movies where actually scary. Society had the fear that there small town could have an event portrayed in certain movies happen to them. When men and women saw zombie movies they where a little more scared to walk in the woods. Vampires turning humans into vampires was considered pure evil and no one would dare think of turning. Yet look at how society is today and our culture embraces the thought. I must admit I've gone days myself wondering what it would be like to be a vampire, or how the world would be if it where over ran with zombies.. I mean my god look at the name of the site we are using and what it implies. We even have zombie walks right here in my home state of Tennessee (Nashville to be exact).
So while everyone (including me) wonder what it would be like to change and all the positives, I wonder do people still think about the negatives. I kinda wanna throw an experiment your way, and please feel free to do both and write back. I would love discussion on this. For those who want to be vampires please write a list of all the negative sides I.e. No sun, no daytime, no family etc and see how much that effects you. For the zombie fanatics when you wake up imagine you just witnessed re zombie outbreak on the news just now and you just woke up. You don't know anything around your neighborhood as far as what's going on or what family members dead. All you know is outside your door is a new dead world where people want to eat your brains and rip your limbs off (for the sake of the experiment these zombies will be the dawn of the dead oh shit they can run zombies)..
After thinking all this would you still wanna change and why? Personally I would still go with vampire if I had a choice. Pretty sure I'd never wanna be a zombie and would fight till the end, but yea this is some stuff I think about to the folks that have been asking. So now I wanna know what you think. No half assing.. Really consider everything. Because if the time ever came....
