I noticed that there have been select groups on this site, some of which are known, others are just random. The ones that are known are slightly two separate groups, one are the popular vfers who manage to be top rated and the others are people who get downrated a lot for their so called trollish behavior. Now, I never really cared much for any of them, not because one group is top rated and the other are "so called" trolls, but because I noticed something, they care more then they let on. It is ironic that in top journals how they bitch about a guy making top journal for being himself, crying and whining that he is spamming and becoming a rate whore to make top journal. Hating his journal, but then clearly stating they don't care. Now, I never saw a problem in stating your opinion, but when you have an opinion, you obviously care to some degree about the individual and/ or situation you are talking about. Saying you don't care but yet continuing with the conversation only makes you a hypocrite. A part of you still cares and admitting it is not a crime. If you don't like someone's journal post or the person themselves, you have a right to state your opinion and have some form of "caring" or you can completely ignore and not give the person the gratification of more popularity. Essentially negative statements can lead people into finding this person and maybe in the way liking him... Saying nothing at all and ignoring the situation helps by not exposing the person.
It is obvious neither side is right or wrong, it is just a state of opinion. What I also don't like is that people have to create huge egos about how their journals are better then others and make a big deal out of the negative journals... And also, essentially referring to anyone with opposite opinion as trolls. And yes, I used the term troll but honestly are they trolls, No. I find it funny that they are just different group of people with a different opinion.
The biggest thing I hate and have hated on this site is when people say they don't care. Now, why would you tell someone that? There is not essential need to inform the person you are in debate with that you don't care. If you don't care, why even bother commenting? Now, I also grasp that people do it simply for the entertainment value of the conversation, but still, in a way you still some what give a damned.
Yes, I do sort of care, because it has become slight obnoxious. Going on top journals to find a somewhat decent journal entry in which you can debate or have simple conversation with is hard now.
I know my journal will not get top rate or barely even looked at, this is just a rant and my humble opinion. Nothing more, nothing less. If you do manage reading it and have some nasty comment to state, then state it. The entire point of having an opinion is to be honest with the person you hold the opinion of and/ or whatever the situation maybe.

I noticed lately that people freak out when someone has cleavage or when someone shows off too much skin like it is a crime. This site was devoted to the Goth/ Industrial scene, in which from knowing the scene and seeing what people wear, it can be pretty provocative. A lot of these new kids like to prejudge people for showing off skin, yet they sit here and whine about how they are being judged for being "different". I never remember seeing anyone complain so much about cleavage and showing skin as much as the current generation. It is like a crime to be sexual and show skin. They say this site is not about sex or dating, yet is a social networking site and it can be for almost anything.
Now, understandable if a girl just shows off her ass, tits and what nots without having a proper profile or being underage, understandably I can see were people have the issue, however not everyone who does show off a little skin is some slutt. I am proud to show cleavage, but if you read my profile, I have more to talk about other then my photos.
I think this generation of children have become so freaked out about nudity and sex, that they have to go after anyone who differs from them and judge them... Yet, they cry and whine they are judge. Get over yourself. Not everyone fits in your little bubble.
Anyway, if people are so freaked about cleavage or skin, then I suggest maybe choosing a conservative site. It might suit you better. From my knowledge I don't think Jet (the owner) minds skin... I don't think most of the mods and admins mind skin. I think it is really the conservative, alternative kids of this generation that really get their panties twisted.
I am not really ranting, just more going WTF... If I hear another kid cry about it but yet cry when they are being judged for being too scene or emo... I would generally point out why would you judge others so cruelly but yet freak out when people judge you? Obviously if this site is accepting to alternative lifestyle, that includes all aspects of the alternative world including the other "taboo" parts of it too. This is not a conservative site and will never be.
I hate when people try to tell me or anyone that their belief out ways anyone else, therefore they are correct for it. Okay, so you believe you are correct but that does not prove shit to anyone else. You can create you tube videos as evidence, does not mean it will hold up. People have a right to believe in what they want, it is when people take it to the next level by declaring everyone wrong and being told by the devil what to say is when I feel as if they are just trying to be complete preaching assholes. If you want to state your opinion, fine but don't expect people to believe in everything you say, especially in the case of religion. Religion is personal and should stay that way.
The reason they do this is because sometimes people get accused of faking and they get deleted... Therefore proof on both accounts are needed. Also, who cares? Seriously!!! Most fakes I have ever seen on here never pan out very well and sometimes they are deleted, and sometimes they vanish on their own. Most fakes are usually people that want to piss people off. Most fakes will not stay long and if they do, in order to get into cults (into most cults) they need a VF salute anyway. So, why are you all complaining?
The internet is not part of the "real world".... Yes, sometimes it can damage a person's reputation but that is if it is so extreme, it is hard not to notice. Fakes happen all over the internet because it is a fantasy world to some. If you don't like it, then leave. It is not that hard. Start your own social network and make your own rules. Don't sit here and bad mouth the admins or Jet simply because you don't like the new system. It has been around for awhile, just admins obviously abused it and some cases they even deleted real people, who were told they were faked. In the end of all this, what are you getting out of it? Fakes will still be here with or without the rule. It is just a common battle. Why not just enjoy yourself? If the real person cared, contact them and if they said they do not care, then all well? Sometimes the real person does not and sometimes they do. Why not contact them and see what they think before making such conclusions?
Ugh... People on here are such drama freaks... It is getting tiring.
