Lying on the ground, smothered in dirt,
Holding onto life as only you could,
Watching you there,
Writhing in pain,
The one person I've ever considered truly loving,
Hurting as you hurt,
Twisting as you writhe,
watching the knife crease deeper into that beautiful flesh,
would you rot for me?
If I held you closer and whispered sweet nothings into your ear,
Would you rot for me?
Letting the pain continue,
Allowing the maggots to feast apon those brilliant eyes,
Would you do it all for me?
As I would for you?
would you rip out your heart and hold it out for me?
Watching the bloody thing beat its last beat,
Thump its last thump as the darkness engulfs you?

Would you rot for me?
I'll hold you if you'll hold me,

Pull the maggots from those gouregous eyes,
