My life has always revolved around rock 'n' roll. I love it. The music, the clothes, the people, the culture. Everything. I was brought up on it and it's my life.
Generally I am a happy person, and I have been told I am quite nice, though I think sometimes people take advantage of my good nature. I can be argumentitive and I joke all the time (usually at someone elses expense) and I am very good at saying the wrong thing at the wrong time. I have a habit of letting my mouth speak before my brain has decided if what I said was appropriate. People say that I remind them of the chicks in 80's rock video's. Thats fine by me!
I have had 3 different accounts previously here on VF. This one is my third (obviously). The others got deleted when I was bored/angry. But I am determined to keep this one now. My user name doesn't really mean anything. I chose it because one of my friends asked me what I would be called if I were a model and I basically just thought of this name in the space of 30 seconds, so now jassie has become my online name and I am happy with it, even though Jassie is the name of my Nans dog. It's obviously not my real name. No, I'm not telling you my real name either. Why? Because it's a secret!
You will usually find me haunting the messageboard, ranting on the classifieds section or posting in my cults. I reply to 99% of the messages I recieve (unless they are ridiculous) though sometimes it takes me a while to get back to people. So don't cry if I don't get back to you straight away :]
My life has always revolved around rock 'n' roll. My parents (now divorced) had plenty of tattoos between them and they both owned a motorbike. I dont live with either of my parents now since we don't really get on if we are together for long periods of time. Though I do love them both very much.
From the age of 4 I was going to the Rock and Blues Festival on the back of my parents bike. My parents listened to a variety of rock music inlcuding Cult, ZZ Top, Led Zep, Bad Company and Whitesnake. Since then I have always loved rock. Therefore I don't believe anyone has the right to tell me I am a wannabe. I have more rock in my blood than most people my age.
Over the years as I have got older I started been introduced to some newer bands which is why there are lots of newer bands also on my music list.
My boyfriend is a vintage rocker. He loves the likes of Kiss, Motley Crue, Bon Jovi and Warrant. He is my ideal guy because real rockers are hard to find these days. I like a guy with plenty of tatts, a motorbike, lovely long hair and a shit load of piercings which is everything that is my boyfriend.

I am a generally happy person. I lead a regular life. I have my ups and downs like everyone else. I try not to let trivial things get to me, but sometimes they do. I don't claim to be any different from any one else on this site. I don't pretend to be depressed and I don't bang on about my bad habits to make them sound cool. I do smoke but I am not proud of it. I would love to quit soon but this is easier said than done.
I am into conserving the environment in a huge way. Waste causes me a great deal of trauma. I try to recycle as much as possible. Animal cruelty also causes me trauma. I have worked at a dog re-homing center and I have realised how ignorant people are. I don't understand why no-one seems to give a fuck about anything. I often feel like I'm battling against ignorance on my own.
My favorite past times include: Socialising, laughing, watching television programs such as The Simpsons, LOST, Ugly Betty and Politically based documentaries among other things. I also LOVE food. I am veggie so I will eat anything veggie. I don't mind cooking either, especially if it is Italian, Indian or Chinese recipes.I know this seems like a cliche but I adore music and I don't mind listening to anything as long as I know that someone has put their heart into writing their songs. I also love The Internet especially sites like vampirefreaks or myspace.

I am into feminism and socialism in a huge way. I appreciate the works of Karl Marx and I have currently loaned out The Communist Manifesto... and before you say anything, no I don't think we should all be communists, history has proven that this really doesn't work. However I enjoy reading the Marxist theories. Yes I am sad.
I am not religious in any way. I don't believe in God or The Devil or the paranormal or any of that bollocks. Personally I believe that the bible was created for the patriarchal society we live in today. The bible is sexist and contains no reference to black people. It is also a proven fact that parts of the bible was re-written by kings such as Henry the 8th for various reasons. I really don't mind if anyone believes in God or are religious and I hope that the path of religion works for those people. But I don't want religion to be rammed down my throat. It's my choice and if that makes "God" unhappy then, boofuckinhoo. Besides why should I waste my Sunday mornings on church when I have Crash Bandicoot on PS2?

I don't hate emo's or scene kids or whatever. Personally I don't like this new emo fashion thats going around and I'm not that crazy about the music either. However I just think we should live and let live. As long as these people don't offend me or try to hurt me in any way then why should I have any reason to hate them? Besides I think we have more important things to think about, and we should have more reasons to hate people such as terrorists and the like. So lets give each other a break. Lets make love, not war.
Im interested in meeting interesting people and making friends. If you have something intelligent to say and you have read my profile then you are guaranteed to have my attention. If you feed me the same old drivel as everyone else I will be polite but don't expect me to hold a conversation with you or hand you 10's on a plate. I'm not interested in people who just want me to rate them.
People who say sex is over-rated have obviously not had good sex. For me, sex is a beautiful thing which is to be carried out with someone who you care about. People who sleep with anyone and everyone shouldn't brag about it. It gives people a bad name. I really don't believe in cheating, I hate it. If someone is going to cheat they shouldn't be in a relationship in the first place. So finish with one before you start with another.
I don't understand a lot of the new music coming on to the scene. A lot of it sounds like pop or dance music to me. Or its just a group of guys in masks and shit screaming and growling into a microphone. I mean I am not saying you shouldn't listen to it (like you'd listen to me anyway) Im just saying I don't understand it, it all seems so meaningless. What happened to all the legends that I grew up with? If I mention some of those bands these days Im either greeted by blank looks or laughter. Bring back 70's/80's classics, tight spandex, big hair, leopard print scarves and cowboy boots.
I am not going to waste my time commenting anyone back if they have put no thought into the comment they have sent me. If you just put "hey, 10 for you" there isn't really much room for conversation there. So please try to put a little more effort into talking to me if you expect me to reply to your comments. Also don't rate me in order for me to rate you back. As much as we all like to be rated a 10, a decent conversation means more to me. I'm a genuine person and 99.9% of the time I will be polite and nice to you. It takes a lot to piss me off. If you irritate me I will just ignore you. I rarely downrate unless I feel someone truly deserves it.
I have many issues with the way I look and I refuse to go any where without any makeup on, even if I am just going to my local corner shop. Although I am starting to like myself more now and I am far more confident than I have ever been I still have issues with how I appear. This was due to a crappy time at school, though looking back it taught me many things about life and I am thankful for it in a way. I am a great believer in fate and I believe things happen for a reason and for the best, which is why I try to be optimistic as far as possible.

Q. You seem really cool. How many bands have you met? A. Not enough. I've met quite a few up and coming bands, bands that are signed and bands that aren't. I've met loads of different bands from all over the world but I've never met my heroes. Which sucks really.
Q. How many bands have you seen live? A. Far too many to count. I've seen Thunder, Whitesnake, Scorpions, Micheal Schenker Group, KISS, Judas Priest and Bullet for my Valentine to name a few of the bigger bands and absolutly hundreds of cover/tribute bands and new bands playing thier own material. There are still loads more I'd love to see but unfortunatly money and time is always an issue.
