Profile: I'm Elen, 19 years old and live in the Netherlands (groningen, although I visit Hengelo almost every weekend because my parents live there). I go to college where I do life science and techology with the major biomedical sciences and am in my seccond year now. (I used to do pharmaceuticals, but figured it wasn't for me anyway.) Since last summer I'm engaged to Stephan, and very happy about that. (for those who didn't catch the hint, this also means I'm not on here to get perverted comments by dudes, thank you). I'm more of a nerd than I am a goth, but I do like goth music an style. (maybe it's just that I am such a huge nerd that you cannot see the gothy part anymore ;)) I'm shy, but also love to meet new people. I like to think I'm nice to pretty much everyone, or I at least try to be. I see nothing cool in being a bitch. I try to play piano, but I started doing so about half a year ago, so I'm not that good. I've played accordeon for 4 years, but I haven't been playing in a while now. I also love to dance, I've been doing ballet since forever (lots of different styles though so I'm not that good in any style) and I still really enjoy it. Likes: • stephan (d'oh) • ballet or general dancing • meeting new people etc. etc. Dislikes: • people that tell me "gosh you are silent, can't you speak?" I mean.. when someone is shy, that's not really helping to open up. also, people that think I'm arrogant because I'm shy.. that's something different you know? • Guys calling me a slut or bitch while they are actually not looking for a fight by saying it. I mean, if you want to call me that, fine, but don;t expect a nice respons to it. Because I Will take it as an insult. It's not a nice thing to call someone so don't act like it is. and for girls calling themselves sluts or bitches.. they are just silly • people that complain that my profile is completely about me. or my journal is only about my life. they are kind of.. made for that you know? • people who warn about how they can see you watching their profile. I'm not talking about the rating, that's silly but well, whatever, I'm talking about watching. those people who complain about stalkers etc. or even worse, people who create an entry on livejournal how some people watch their profile on vf and how bad that is. it's a fucking profile people! if you don't want people to look at it then delete it. • leopard print • the :) smiley on VF it;s not exactly what I'm trying to express when I type it. Favorite Music: I like a lot of different music. basicly anything with a nice rythm or melody. and does not contain a high male voice (like in iron maiden) those voices get my moody in no time. EBM, Power Noise, Deathrock, Post Punk, Badcave, Industrial, Metal, classical, rock, indie, some hiphop, some pop, some experimental etc. etc. ;) ^my "all time"top ten Bands I have seen live, some are opening acts or free concerts so don't coplain because there are some very bad bands in there ;) (oh and when it says 2× it means I saw them 2 times.. not really 2 times that year ;)) 2009 Tori Amos Editors deadcell Gothminister NG-pro Ravage!
