Harmony of Lies
Profile: Harmony of Lies is an electronic rock fusion from the Midwest. It first began in the spring of 2001 when singer song writer Brent Leitner released a series of demos through his own website and other early online communities like the original mp3.com, iuma.com and garageband.com. The unique blend of overdrive, eletronica and acoustics would form the corner stone of the bands sound. In the fall of 2002 a band was assembled to meet the demands of a live show. Through various member changes the final line up was secured in the fall of 2004 with Dave Grey (guitars) Craig (drums), Nate (bass) and Troy (lead guitar). By summer of 2005 after completing several successful Midwest tours and storming the West Coast, the band headed into the studio with Grammy award winning producer Curtis Johnson (Destiny's child) and Chicago Producer George Langis (Smashing Pumpkins + Mudvayne). They completed their first single "Breaking" which was later placed on the horror movie soundtrack "The Thirsting" and earned a spot in the movie. Currently Harmony of Lies is hard at work in studio with Chicago producer Matt Mercado (Mindbomb + Daisy Chain + SuperMercado). This marks the bands first full length album scheduled for release in spring of 2007. A summer tour will follow the release of their debut LP.
