The band was formed in 1983 by Tommy Stewart and Stacy Andersen. The purpose was to play the heaviest music they knew how to write and to not follow the rules of others at all. In the beginning, there were few role models... so the band's sound was unique and they were quickly signed by Metal Blade Records. HALLOWS EVE studio releases include "Tales of Terror" "Death and Insanity" "Monument" "Evil Never Dies" & "History of Terror". There are appearances on compilations, video, television and movie soundtracks, including "Rivers Edge" and "Pacific Heights". After many member changes, much touring, and 24 years Hallows Eve can be found on 37 different releases... yet there are only four full length albums available. The latest HALLOWS EVE releases are "History of Terror", a box set on Metal Blade Records, and "Evil Never Dies", an Xtreem Music release. The band is a free agent as of this writing in 2007.
