"All night? It's amusing to me that you think you'd be capable of going all night." She shook her head. "Especially with me." So...whyd din't it amuse her that he thought it was even a possibility even if he wanted to...? As she kept her face averted, ignoring his questinos on her blushing, she shook her head. As a gust of cool air rushed over her, she shivered, wrapping her arms around herself, glad for something to do with her now burning hand. "I don't...remember much of that night at all. Not..nothing after you chased me down the stairs. And then I woke up in your room...and ran out."

"I know I would." It wasn't a boast, he knew. It was a promise. But the fact that she was joking with him about it brought a smile to his lips. "I told you what happened that morning, remember? I hoped you remembered that much. You were tossing and turning, having some kind of nightmare, and when I sat by you to make sure you were all right, you grabbed my hand and wouldn't let me go." His face grew thoughtful as he remembered that night, a memory that he'd had entirely too often over the last year. Why couldn't such a strange event leave him alone?

She bit her lip, sure she knew exactly what that dream had been. After a moment, she looked down, shivering again. It was starting to snow, she realized as a snowflake drifted down to her cheek. She took a shaky breath. "I must have been really drunk...to have forgotten all of that. Why..did you bring me to the hospital? And why did you check on me? I mean, I was really rude to you that day, I was cruel and...insulting. I would have thought you'd have left me there to figure it out myself, or at the very least, after I fell asleep you would have been....laughing.." Laughing at the fact that she'd been having a nightmare, turning and whimpering like a child...bothered by some imaginary evil.

"Why? I mean, you did treat me like shit, but that doesn't mean you're not a person. No one deserves to be left alone and afraid and drunk like that." He shook his head with a frown. "I was really scared for you...I wanted to know you were okay. And I've had enough nightmares to know that it's hell waking up alone. I can't stay in my own room after I've had one."

"I'm a little surprised you didn't make a move on me when I was like that." She laughed weakly, shivering once more. It was so cold outside, she realized, it almost hurt. The wind was biting... "So...you really are as nice as they all say. Well...'they all' aside from the one's you've slept with." She shook her head, glancing up at him. "You were seriously worried about me?" After all that she'd done, all that she'd said...? As he mentioned the nightmares, the way he couldn't be alone, she felt herself relax a little. Maybe...just maybe he wasn't like the man she'd known after all. No...all of them were the same. He couldn't be a good person...he was an idol, a celebrity, someone that used people for his own amusement...

"You're surprised? I'm not that kind of guy." He insisted, shaking his head with a frown. Seeing her shiver, he shrugged out of his jacket, passing it to her. "It's freezing out here, why don't you have a jacket?" Snowflakes were settling in his hair, nodding at the last. "Who wouldn't be worried? Someone would have to be pretty heartless to leave you like that."

"From what I've seen, you could have been that kind of guy. It wouldn't have surprised me." She looked up at him as he passed her his jacket, confusion clear in her gaze as she watched him. After a moment, she frowned. "I don't need that, I'm fine." Despite her words, she shivered again. "I wasn't intending on taking a walk tonight, so I didn't bring one...Sue me." As he continued, confirming that he had been worried, she felt her cheeks heat slightly. Why had he cared so much...? Why had he cared at all? It wasn't a problem for him, it wasn't his own hand that had gotten cut...and she wasn't someone he could use. Unless maybe he thought that if he helped her, she'd give herself over to him...that made the most sense.

"I'm really warm-blooded and I'm still hyped up from the show. Believe me, I don't mind being without it." He insisted, jostling the jacket a little as he still held it in front of her.

As he continued to hold the jacket out, she eyed it suspiciously for a long moment before slowly reaching out and taking the jacket, slipping her arms into the holes. As she looked up at the man again, once again extremely aware of how close they'd come together, she could feel his heat once again... Her eyes locked on his. "So do you feel better now, then? knowing that I"m alright?"

"Absolutely." He beamed brightly, pleased that she'd taken the jacket as the snow around them got a little heavier. The flakes caught in his lashes, making him lift a hand to rub at his eyes. "I didn't think it was supposed to snow while we were here. The year's really gone fast."

"It wasn't supposed to snow." She remembered something she'd read somewhere. The first snowfall of the season, you were supposed to walk with your lover... But she'd never had that opportunity. Her eyes moved to the deserted street, she hadn't seen a car in several minutes...and the street seemed...peaceful, calm, beautiful as it glistened from the freshly fallen snow. She stopped walking to take in the image, smiling slightly. "Wow..."

"Wow." He repeated, looking over the scene. The snow had muffled all ambient noise, making the street much quieter as the unmarred snow covered the ground. He had been running so hard for so long that he had completely forgotten that moments like this could happen. "This is...beautiful."

She nodded, smiling slightly as she lifted her foot, moving to take a step into the street, smilng wider as her foot sank a little into the snow. "It's too early for snow. I'm surprised it's staying on the ground." It was gorgeous...After a moment, she turned her head, looking back at the man with a bright, stunning smile as the snow continued to fall around her. As a snowflake drifted down onto her nose, she let out a soft laugh, moving her hand to her nose to wipe it away.

For a moment he was stricken by her beauty, surrounding by snowfall and looking like someone that had stepped out of a book, off of a movie screen, anything but the very real woman standing before him. "It's incredible." He nodded, smile gaining strength at the sight. That was...adorable. Bending to scoop a little snow into his hands, he pressed it into a ball, humming in approval. "It's not too wet to make snowballs..." He commented absently.

WAtching the man lift the snow into his hand, she wondered what was on his mind. Was he planning on throwing that...? As he smiled as well, she felt her own heart give a hard bump. He was...more attractive than she remembered. After a moment, she raised a brow. "...snow balls?"

"Yeah. Never had a snowball fight?" He asked, turning the ball over in his fingers as he straightened once again to face her. "If the snow's too wet it turns to slush, but if it's too dry, it won't stick at all."

"Of course I've had a snowball--" she cut off, seeing the way he turned the ball. Realization dawned on her and she felt her cheeks heat slightly. She raised a hand, pointing at him as she took a small step back. "Dont...don't you dare."

Realizing what she must think, a slow smile spread across his lips. "Don't...do what?" He asked, mischief in his eyes. "I'm not doing anything." He hadn't considered throwing it...until she told him not to.

She took another small step back. "I mean it, Jeon Jungkook. Dont you dare. You put that down." She was backing slowly across the street, suddenly the cold was forgotten.

"Why? I'm just holding it." He took a few leisurely steps toward her, gently tossing the ball between the reddening fingers of one hand to the other. "Is something frightening you, Hyejin? You look a little tense."
