NoWealthNoRuin HK's Territory
A grand courtyard within a hotel on the inside of the border between the territories. It's been taken and retaken so many times that not even the family heads know who originally laid claim to it.

"I don't...think you're a terrible person or anything. I just...really don't like your choice of employment. But I'll try to be nice about it." She flushed at the wink, seeing his own cheeks flush, she couldn't hold back a small smile. "You're blushing. I didn't think escorts could blush.. What's wrong?" She nodded as he mentioned pplaying so late, reaching over to grab one of the paper napkins and a pen, she scribbled out her number and held it out to him. "Here. So...so you can let me know when you're playing. I'll be sure I"m home every time. I really...really do love hearing you play."

"Thanks for that." He laughed once again, clearing his throat at the last. "It...doesn't happen often. Consider yourself one of hte very few that has managed it." At the last, he took the napkin, raising an eyebrow with a smile before pulling his phone from his pocket to type it into his contacts. "No sign of my date...but I think tonight's turning out much better than it would have. Can you hear my cello from down there?"

"I managed it? I didn't do anything, did I? Why are you blushing?" She laughed softly, shaking her head. As she saw him pull his phone out immediately, she raised a brow. "I'll be honest...I kind of expected you to put it in your pocket and throw it away as soon as I"m out of sight. Did you really just put my number in your phone? Just like that?" She laughed softly, realizing she hadn't given him her name... As she heard the last, she raised a brow. "Turning out better than it would have? You're...enjoying meeting a poor, lost, drunk girl...?" Hearing him mention the cello, she shook her head slowly. "No. No, I..I don't think so. Are you good?"

"I...you fixed my hair. Right after I did yours, I should have expected it, but...it was endearing." He admitted, finding no reason to lie. Then, turning his phone around to show her the contact--named, "Mystery Audience", as he still didn't know her name--his smile gained strength. "You're not as lost or drunk as you were a few minutes ago. And I'd like to think so...but I'm not as good as I am with the piano. I'm surprised you haven't called in a noise complaint."

"I...didn't mean to..I didn't even notice I did it. I"m sorry. I shouldn't..touch strangers." She laughed weakly, shaking her head. "Wow..you really put it in." Laughing again, she smiled, looking down for a moment. "Mystery Audience? You arent' going to ask me my name?" At the last, she smiled softly. "Maybe some day I"ll have enough money to hire you for a private show. I really don't mind the music."

"Don't worry. Like I said, it was endearing." He chuckled softly. At the last, he shot her a wink. "I'd love to know your name if you could give it. And the first show, for you, would be at a steep discount. Maybe just dinner, a drink. What do you think?" Then, moving to sit in the seat opposite her, he added, "I'm Kim Heechul, by the way."

"Endearing. Right." Laughing softly, she flushed at the wink before looking up at him again. He wanted her name...for a moment, she wondered if she should give it. Her real name or the name she used while she was running. Biting her lip for a moment, she cleared her throat. "A discount..? So...you want me to buy you dinner and a drink?" She smiled, hearing hte last. Heechul. Kim Heechul. It was an attractive name for an attractive man. for some reason, she found she really liked the sound of it. "...Lee Minha."

"No, I just want you to join me for dinner and a drink. You don't even have to buy." He added, crossing one leg over the other as he got comfortable. "Minha...a lovely name. It matches the rest of you." He added with a sweet smile.

"Isn't...isn't the whole point of your career to be a paid escort so those that take your time provide for you? You don't seem the type to go on a date. Not...not that it's a date you're takling about but...you just don't seem the type to pay for much of anything if you can help it." She smiled, watching him sit back before hearing him call her lovely. Her cheeks flushed softly and she gave another small smile. "Is that that escort charm you're turning on? Calling me lovely...I look like shit."

"I think you look great." He shook his head with a chuckle. "And what would I do with that money otherwise? For good company where I don't have to put on the right mask to get paid at the end of the night, I think a bottle of wine and some takeout is a small price to pay." Gesturing to the bar, he added, "I know you've been drinking, but would you like a drink? Or some tea?"

""My hairs all crazy, my clothes are torn, I have blood everywhere, and I still look a little drunk. How can I look great?" She laughed again, the sound a bit more confident. "I don't know. Pay your bills, do things you actually enjoy...not just playing with the poor lost drunk girl you just met." Laughing once more, she shook her head. "You don't have to put your mask on around me? What happens if I decide to hire you? If I'm having a bad day and I want to have a nice time with someone kind...?" A bottle of wine. Takeout.. Was he insane? It sounded more and more like a date the more he spoke. "Are you asking me out, Mr. Kim?"

"You look real. The most real I've seen anyone look in months. You're a person, not a postcard, and I like that." He shrugged lightly. "My bills are paid, and I would enjoy spending an evening playing music for someone who appreciates it instead of vamping half the night and mispronouncing Haydn." After a moment, he hummed thoughtfully. "If you wanted a nice time with someone kind, that's off the books. No effort...I'm not getting paid for the inconvenience. Why...do you want me to ask you out, miss Lee?" He asked, smile widening.

"You..could play music for someone without having to pay for dinner and wine." She laughed, cheeks burning darker as she shook her head. As she heard the mention of it being off the books, she looked up at him in obvious surprise and more than a litle confusion. "You're saying if I wanted to just have a nice conversation, you wouldn't charge me? Why is that? I mean...what makes me any different than your usual customers? Why would you--" she cut off, hearing the last and feeling her cheeks darken more than ever. Her heart jumped. "I..I never said that. I'm just...confused on your reasoning for offering me so much..."

"But if I have too much food and too much wine...I'd need help with it." He pointed out, eyes flashing mischievously. "I don't think you'd have any expectations of me. You don't want me to be the perfect boyfriend, the man that will make your ex jealous, some pretty, quiet thing that you can take to the ballet. Just talking to me...no masks, no acts...that's worth more than money to me." He hadn't meant to admit that much, he thought, ordering a pot of tea and two cups from the bartender that came over, glad for the momentary distraction.

She looked up at him in srprise, startled to find that she believed him, that he was actually much more human than she'd expected. She atched him closely, quiet for a long moment before she cleared her throat. "I can...I can pay for my own tea, you know." She flushed sfotly, shaking her head. "I don't want you to waste your money on someone like me." Besides...she really didn't want this to turn into what was already feeling like a first date. A first date with a literal whore...what was she thinking.

"I know, but you don't expect me to drink a whole pot by myself, do you?" He asked with a smirk, shaking his head. "I'm not wasting my money. Don't worry. Like I said, what else would I spend it on?"

"Yourself. Isn't that the most important thing?" She flushed again, heart pounding as she looked down at her lap. "Are you always so kind to drunk strangers or is there something you want?"

"I spend a lot of money on myself. Why not do something good with it, too?" He asked, smile never fading. "I'm kind to people I find interesting. And to people I think are kind, as well."

"You've been kind to me so far." he pointed out, thanking the bartender as he brought over the tea. "Even for being what I am..." He added, shooting her a wink.
