Hansol loved this weather. It made walks in the park so calming, so soothing, and this day was perfect for some outside time. So he got his little gang together and they stood under a couple of the trees, spinning, dancing to some music playing from a small boombox a few feet away. Free style dancing had always been a passion of his, but when the song ended and he heard the soft melody of a guitar, he froze, ordering one of his boys to stop the song before he turned around, searching for the source of the music. It was so...pretty.

Oblivious to the group nearby, he played on, losing himself to the melody as he recalled just how it had been written. His voice gained a little strength, aware of the sun shining around him, the warming breeze, the gentle hiss of the leaves above him...it helped soothe his nerves and give him a little more confidence that he would find a good job soon. He would need to--he barely had enough to cover the deposit and his first month of rent. Beyond that...he was on his own.

As he heard the sound grow louder, he told the boys he'd be back and started following the sound until he stood just on the other side of the tree. The voice was so soft, sweet, the kind of voice you'd want to fall asleep to. Witha small smile, he poked his head around the tree to look at the man ont he ground, raising a brow. "You're really good, ahjussi."

Surprised to hear the voice, his fingers continued the melody as his singing paused. "Thank you. I'm really rusty, though." Glancing up, he shook pale bangs out of his eyes to see a face that was far too familiar to him. Had he passed this man in the street before? "I haven't practiced in a long time." He added with a soft smile.

Smiling at the boy's voice, he nodded before the soft eyes moved to meet his own and he realized he recognized the boy...but from where? He'd seen him, seen him many times...but he had no clue why. Did they go to the same bars? Did he work for one of the families? Was he one of the performers at the club...? "You can't tell that you haven't practiced in a while. You're really good."

Smile brightening to a grin, his fingers shifted on the fingerboard, adding a bridge he hadn't written when the song had first come to him. "That's a really big compliment, thank you." Then, after a moment, he added, "I'm...really sorry, but I feel like I've seen you before. Am I an asshole that forgot that we've met?" He gave a soft chuckle, knowing that he had been so preoccupied in finding a job that it was possible he had spoken to this man in one of the stores that afternoon.

"Is that a pick up line?" He laughed softly, shaking his head as he looked down at him. "Honestly, I was thinking the same thing. But I can't figure out why you look so familiar. I know I haven't seen you at a bar..and I can't imagine just recognizing you from a grocery store or something." He shook his head, laughing softly. "You're really familiar to me, too, but I just can't figure out why."

Flushing darkly at the accusation, he shook his head, clearing his throat. "N-, n-nothing like that. It's just..." Studying the man for a long moment, he tilted his head. "I used to go to school here a long time ago...were we classmates? I'm Kim Byungjoo." Though it seemed that this man was someone that likely wouldn't have wanted anything to do with a gangly booksmart thing like him, rushing home to help the family business instead of going out with any friends.

It was a joke, i didn't really think you were hitting on me. Thats gross.' he laughed softly, shaking his head before leaning against the tree with a small smile. "What school did you--" he cut off, hearing the name and thinking back. After a long moment, he raised a brow. "The... The library kid?"

He avoided the mention of that being 'gross', knowing his "live and let live" attitude toward people of other preferences wasn't as common as he would like. At the mention of being the library kid, he ducked his head with a soft chuckle. "That...that's me. I'm surprised you ever knew my name." After a moment, shifting in his seat to see the man more clearly, his eyes lit up. "You're...the dancer. The one everyone said was going to be an idol; you used to have dance battles in the courtyard."

"Wow....Bookworm..it's been a while." He grinned brightly as the boy recognized him. He straightened, smoothing his hair for a moment before flashing a wink. "That's me. Kim Minseung. Most everyone calls me Hansol." Smiling wider, he watched a child ride by on a bicycle. "You seem excited to see me, Bookworm."

"Minseung, that's right..." He nodded, glad that he had remembered at last. Though he wasn't as happy that the man had remembered the nickname most were happy to use against him. "I'm glad that I remembered. It's...nice to see a familiar face after being gone for so long."

Raising a brow at the words, he grinned. "I'm suprirsed you recognized me at all. I mean, we never really talked to each other in school. I just saw you in the hallways sometimes." He smiled slightly. "I never knew you liked music."

"No one really knew me, honestly." He shrugged lightly, going back to picking out a melody on his guitar again. He was making it up as he went, something light and breezy, much like the afternoon around them. "I've always loved music. I'd walk by you and your friends on my way to work sometimes...you had really good taste in music."

"I noticed you a lot...but you never seemed to want to talk to much of anyone." Smiling as he heard the last, he nodded, pointing to the gorund next to him. "Can I sit? I like listening to you play."

"I was...really busy." he admitted with a self-conscious chuckle, nodding at the question. "Of course, go for it." He added, pausing long enough to gesture for the man to have a seat.

AS he sat next to the younger man, he smiled at him, swaying t the gentle tune. After a moment, he cleared his throat. "So you play guitar...is there anything else artistic you do or are you still all books?

"I paint a little. And I like to cook." He hummed softly, building the tune as he went. "Honestly, this is the first time in a long time I've had any time to myself. Since I graduated, I've been working nonstop."

"What about music? Any other instruments? Singing? Dancing?" He smiled, watching the boy closely. If he could convince him to let him teach him how to dance...maybe they could form a group good enough to audition for one of the big companies. But was becoming an idol something Byungjoo would be interested in? "Working? What do you do?"
