"I want to buy a house my mom and I can both live in. A house...that she doesn't have to work her fingers to the bone to keep." She frowned, thinking of her mom. Her phone gave a soft ding and she glanced at it, tensing a little. Was it the boy...? He'd had her number for days, though she had no clue how he'd gotten it. What if he was texting her now.

"That's...a good wish to have. I hope you can get it soon." He muttered without thinking, seeing her tense at the sound. "What is it?"

"Well.I have to get through high school first. And hope to find a job that pays well enough without a college degree. I can't get into college so...I've gotta make due." She looked up at him, hearing the question and giving a weak laugh. "...I"m just...I don't know. My phone...keeps going off and I'm...It's...it's nothing." She shook her head, looking at the phone again, almost as if she were afraid of it.

"Not even on a scholarship? I'm sure your grades have to be good if they accepted your transfer to Jeguk." He pointed out, tilting his head. At the last, he frowned, gesturing toward it. "Do you want me to check on who might be messaging you? Did someone get your number?"

"My transfer was because of my mother's boss, not because of my grades." Although, her grades weren't bad...but they certainly weren't the best. A scholarship wouldn't cover the entire cost...and she wouldn't be able to pay for anything herself.. As he gestured to her phone, she eyed ti warily for a moment before clearing her throat. "He...He got it..a week ago. He's been texting me...and he won't stop. Or he wouldn't. I don't know if it is him..but he's the only person that usually texts this late..."

"Let me see." He took her phone, flipping it over and checking the notifications on her lock screen. A few messages from an unsaved number asking if she was awake, if she knew what she had done... "Why don't you block him?"

"He changes his number." She shook her head, eyes on her lap. "I've tried and he just buys a new phone or changes it or something. The block doesn't last long. And then he gets mad at school when he sees me and just...it makes everything worse." He got verbally agressive when she didn't respond...

He made a disapproving sound in the back of his throat, eyes narrowing as he scrolled through the rest of the messages, steadily growing more threatening. He could end this problem, he thought at last. Quickly. "This won't be a problem for you for long." he said at last, passing the phone back to her. "Tomorrow at the latest."

(He's fun.. XD)

As she heard the man speak, she looked up at him in confusion and clear shock. Her brow furrowed and she frowned slightly. "What do you mean? You're...you're not going to do anything to make him even angrier, are you?"

"He wouldn't be angrier." He shook his head with a small smirk. "At least, not with you. But he wouldn't dare try anything with me."

"Don't...don't make things worse, Kim Tan." She looked up at him, frowning slightly before taking a deep breath. "Just...don't make things worse. I can..I can handle it."

"I won't make things worse. You have my word on that. But the problem will be solved." His tone betrayed the fact that this was not a threat, but a promise. "Especially because I've already made the problem worse by stepping in today. If he wouldn't stop there, he won't stop. Not until someone stops him for good."

She frowned, looking up at the man. "It's...not really your business, isn't it?" She shook her head, shifting in her seat uncomfortably, hands gripping the blanket tighter. "I mean...every time you get involved ith me, you just make things worse for me. If you...if you keep butting in he's just going to get angrier and more people will likely get involved."

"He won't. It's not likely he'll be at this school much longer." He shrugged lightly, shuffling the cards once again. "Don't worry, you won't be bothered by him anymore. You have my word."

"Right. BEcause another student can get someone kicked out just because they want to." She hsook her head, giving a weak laugh before looking at the cards and took a deep breath. "I'm...just tired."

"I've managed it before. This time would be no different." He shrugged lightly, recalling the situations he had created before adding, "Though...this is a much better reason." At the last, he shifted, stretching in his seat. "If you want to sleep, then go ahead. I'm not going anywhere."

"Better reason? Oh, right...you're supposed to be some big, cruel guy, aren't you?" Shaking her head, she looked up at him, giving a small, weak smile. "You really won't go anywhere...?"

"I was curious to know if I could manage it. I could." He chuckled softly, removing the jacket of his uniform and rolling up his sleeves. "Not until you want to leave. I promise."

As she saw him get more comfortable, she bit her lip, nodding. After a moment, she shifted to lay on the couch, pulling the blanket to her chin, though her eyes never left the boy's. After another moment, she gave a weak smile. "..Thank you...for today, Kim Tan."

"Don't worry about it." He replied with a light shrug, watching her shift and relaxing a little more. It wasn't the first time he'd spent the night in one of these chairs, he knew, and probably not the last. "It was...the right thing to do." Which was an unusual choice for him, though he was reluctant to admit it.
