She bit her lip, wrapping her arms around herself. "And I don't have an umbrella....dammit." With a soft sigh, she moved toward one of the buildings in the alley, standing under the covered porch area before looking up at him. "If you keep walking that way about a block, take a left. The street will be right there. You can go back home now. You don't need me." With a small smile, she glanced back up at the clouds again, trying not to look as pitiful, as pathetic as she felt.

He paused for a moment, thinking his options over. He didn't want to leave her alone after the trouble she had just faced. What if those men came back? What if they brought friends? What if they were a part of one of the crime families in the city and she vanished without a trace to be found in some concrete block fifty years from now? He couldn't let that happen, he decided, moving under the awning as well. After a long moment, he pulled the baseball cap from his head, ruffling his hair before adjusting his hood once again, offering the hat to her. "It's...not an umbrella...but it might help."

She looked up at him in obvious surprise. He didn't like her. Why was he offering her his hat? After a moment, she raised a brow, not taking it just yet. "Is it cursed? Or is it broken?" After a moment, she shook her head. "I"m fine. I'll just wait here for the rain to stop, you can go on ahead."

Shaking his eyes at the questions, he cleared his throat, building his will to at least offer her a respectable response. "I, uh...want to help. There's n-nothing wrong with it...but you helped me..." He offered at last, wishing that even speaking to someone didn't send his heart racing and his nerves on overdrive. He was so far out of his depth he had images of drowning, having to focus to keep his thoughts from wandering too far down his worries.

She shook her head again, about to deny the help once more before she looked up at him and saw what almost looked like fear in his eyes. After a moment, she took the hat with a soft smile, pulling it onto her head. "..thanks. " the hat fell over her eyes, too large for her head, and she gave a soft giggle. "I can run to the bus stop, You can head out, too. YOu don't have to worry with me anymore."

Hwanki had spent a few days in seclusion, too embarrassed over his misadventures to do anything but throw himself into his work. He wished he had gotten his savior's name, her address, something to send her a gift as a thanks for leading him back to familiar territory. Music played through the speakers set up in the living area he'd set up in the penthouse of his building, heard through each section as he finished a long shower. Business had been anything but good lately, he knew, and the stress was growing by the day. Hopefully with a fresh mind and a little food, he could face the growing pile of paperwork with a little more energy.

A few days had passed since she'd met the stranger in the alley, and Yeonhui had been trying desperately to find a way to return his hat. She didn't know his name, didn't know his address, ddn't even have a number for him...so putting the skills she hadn't used in years to work, glad for her time as a hacker, she managed to track him down. The CEO of a profiling company. How could a CEO be so quiet? So rude...? Still, she needed to return his hat. So as she made her way up to the penthouse, she hacked into the computer sstem to cause a problem with teh computers after the secretary wouldn't let her in. As the woman was away from her desk trying to fix the error, she mad eher way into the penthouse, surprised to find what looked more like an apartment than an office. AS she wandered around the room, taking in every sight, she didn't notice the sound of a shower int he other room.

Recalling that he had forgotten to bring underwear into the bathroom, he wound a towel around his waist and made his way through the apartment, humming absently to the song still playing over the speakers. He ruffled damp hair, nearly missing the figure in his living room. Nearly. He froze as the realization that he wasn't alone sank in, letting out a graceless yelp as he moved to try to cover more than the towel provided.

Hearing the yelp, she jumped, truning toward the noise to find the man that she'd met in the alley, completely naked except for the towel he was trying to cover himself with and nearly pulling it from around his waist. Her cheeks burned and she gave a startled sound of her own before turning away from him, hand over her mouth. Her heart was pounding as she fought to find the words to speak. After a moment, she tried. "...A-Ahjussi...I didn't mean to..to startle you. I..your secretary...she...she wouldn't let me in and I just...I wanted to bring you your hat back, I wanted to...wanted to make sure it was you before I left it. I didn't know you...you live here."

"I...I do. This is where I live." He replied dumbly, frozen to the spot before he ducked behind the couch, pulling his clothes from where he had laid them and telling her not to look as he tried to scramble to get dressed while keeping the furniture between him and her line of sight. "No one is supposed to come in. Ever. How...how did you...?"

Hearing him scramble, she held her hand harder over her mouth, trying not to laugh. This was certainly a new situation she'd never been in. She'd never seen a naked man before... With aflush as she realized he was, in fact, very naked, she cleared her throat. "I..she told me no one goes in but I wanted to be sure it was you. And she told me you don't allow her to look at you so I knew she wouldn't be able to tell if it was you or not that got the hat. And I just--" she cut off, brow furrowing. "How did I what?"

"Get past the secretary." He replied, voice a little strained as he pulled his pants on while laying back on the floor to stay out of sight. "Get into the building without me knowing. Everyone...is supposed to report to me on visitors..." Tugging his shirt on, he pulled his jacket over it, pulling his hood over his head and letting out a sigh as he felt the shock of exposure ease a little at last. "Um. I'm. I'm dressed now."

"Oh! That. I just ha--" she cut off, cheeks burning as she hsook her head. "I...noticed that she was away from her desk, having some kind of computer issue, I think..and I snuck past while she was away. I guess everyone is having system issues." She flushed, turning her gaze back to him just as he started to put his shirt on. She quickly looked away again so that he wouldn't notice she'd seen, but not before her gaze lingered on his stomach. After he gave the okay to turn around, she slowly turned to face him before giving a low bow, showing much more respect that she could remember showing anyone. But he was a CEO, right...? She held the hat out, still bowed low, hair falling to hide her face. "I didn't mean to intrude, I just wanted to return what was yours."

"Um...you...didn't have to do that." He said at last, aware of the fact that this was the most he had said to her since their first meeting. Taking the hat with a small bow of his own, he set it on the arm of the couch. "But...thank you..." After a long moment, he raised an eyebrow. "How did you find out who I am?"

She bit her lip at the question, knowing she'd hoped more than anthing that he wouldn't ask. With a small shrug, she slowly straightened. "I...know some people whos job it is to...to know things, like how to find people." She didn't know people...her cheeks flushed. "But you, um..you were difficult the find, that's why it took so long to return this. I mean there's nothing out there about you except that you run the company behind another CEO. Therea re rumors, mostly horror stories I'm not sure if I should believe. And theres--" she cut off. "I mean..there's nothing about social events, nothing from the news, not even a gym membership. I mean, you have a gym membership, don't you? You don't get a body like that without working out. I mean, you're hot as hel--" she cut off, realizing what she said and feeling her cheeks burn once again.

"I, uh. I'm what?" He asked, feeling his face heat as he cleared his throat. "I don't...go out. There's a small gym in the basement that I put together so that I don't have to leave." Did she just call him hot? He wasn't sure how to feel about that, especially after living so long around a man that was honestly better than him in every way. Looks, personality, leadership skills...he paled in comparison.

"nothing! Nothing, it doesn't matter." Gla for the change in conversation, glad she didn't have to explain taht she'd hacked into every inch of his company's computer system, she gave a nervous laugh, hand moving to push her hair back from her face. "You don't go out? Really? I couldn't imagine not going out. But if you didn't go out, how else would we have met? I mean, you were lost in the alleys when you found me and my brother." She looked up at him again. Maybe that's why he was lost. He didn't go out. "But...you do work out, right?"

"I...had a craving for a restaurant that doesn't deliver...and I c-couldn't ask anyone to go for me..." He rubbed the back of his neck beneath the hood, scuffing his foot against the floor in the wake of her string of questions. She certainly talked a lot, he thought absently. Which might be for the best...it helped keep him from feeling like he had to fill the silence. "I work out every night when I can...four nights a week at the least."

"You...You couldn't ask?" What was wrong with this man? How could he not ask? AS he shifted, clearly uncomfortable, she crossed her arms over her chest for a moment. After another moment, she looked back at him. "I should go. Clearly you're not comfortable with me being here. And..and I returned the hat, which was the reason I came here. So..." She flushed softly, taking another low bow. "It was nice to see you again, Eun Hwanki. And...and thank you for what you did in the alley. I'm sure you didn't really want to interfere. I'd say I'll see you around but...apparently you don't get out, so I'm not sure I will." She laughed softly, straightening once more before turning toward the door, trying to ignore the way her stomach rumbled despite the fact that she was sure he could have heard it. She'd find somethign to eat on her way home.

"Wait." He blurted out before he could stop himself, hearing the growl from the few feet between them. She was hungry. And she had gone to a lot of trouble to return a cheap hat that he could have replaced a thousand times over. The least he could do was offer her some kind of hospitality. Even if he didn't know her name. "Do...do you want something to eat? You're still a guest...and you didn't have to do all of this. Consider it a thank you for all of the trouble."
