((Sure. XD))

Living with a mobster in her house was something that Nari hadn't expected to get used to. Yongguk, she discovered, was a startlingly great houseguest. They shared a love of good music and old movies, and she made it a point to suggest both whenever it seemed he was getting bored or frustrated by his limitations while his wound was healing. She found that going to work was something she almost dreaded, partly because she felt a little bad leaving him alone for so long, and--though she'd never admit it aloud--she didn't want to stop their conversations. He was the closest thing she had to a real friend since she moved to the city. Though, she knew, eventually he would be well enough to go back to his home, his life...and she would be forgotten. The thought burned her more than she wanted to admit. After a long shift at work, she tried to keep that thought from her mind, knowing that he was moving better and gaining more energy by the day. Shouldering the door open, she shifted a bag of groceries to her other hand to drop her keys on the counter as she entered. "I'm home," She called out of courtesy, moving to the kitchen to set the bag down.

Yongguk had cleaned the house while she was away. His wound still throbbed but it was bearable, it was healing. He'd been growing closer to the woman and played off more pain than he felt to milk staying there a long as possible. After all, she would kick him out the moment she knew he was well enough...so when he heard her come in, his heart jumped excitedly and he shifted from his place on the couch to pull his glasses from his nose. Glasses he'd yet to show her, knowing she'd want to know how he got them without her help. It wasn't like he carried them around with him...

It only took a moment for her to notice that the dishes in the sink were cleaned and put away, glancing around to find her usually cluttered space far neater than she left it. "You...you cleaned?" She asked, tucking messy hair behind her ear as a bright smile pulled at her lips. "I--this is...thank you, this is incredible. I hope you didn't strain yourself more than you needed to--you didn't have to do this." She offered, trying to ignore the way her heart jumped in her chest at the sight of him. She would never admit that she had been looking forward to coming home since her shift started.

Yongguk shifted again, wincing slightly at the pull before straightening the glasses on his nose and looking up at the new arrival. He was well enough...he could go home....but could he tell her...? He didn't want to go home. He'd really come to be comfortable with her, to want to be there. He even kind of...liked her. He offered her a small smile, crossing long, slender legs before giving a soft hum. "I figured I could help out since I was aking up so much space. I hope I put things in the correct spaces."

"It looks incredible." She beamed brightly, pulling the ingredients she'd gathered and setting them on the counter before adding, "Thank you so much. You really don't have to do that, but I appreciate it a lot." A few strands of hair from her messy ponytail fell into her eyes, brushed hastily aside before she looked back to the man on her couch. "I...never knew you wore glasses..." She added, feeling a light blush cross her cheeks. They looked pretty good...

"I'd cook for you, too, but I'm not really sure how." He laughed softly, shaking his head and looking up at her again. "I appreciate you, everything you've done for me. I appreciate...all of it. And I wanted to show you how much I appreciate it, by helping you out at least a fraction of what you've done for me." At the last, he raised a brow before nodding and giving a small smile. "Only when I read."

"Would you like to learn? I'd be happy to teach you a few things," She offered, shaking her mind back into gear after her initial shock. Waving off his thanks as she felt her face heat further, she gave a soft, self-conscious chuckle. "It's...nothing, really. I'm happy to help out a friend." At the last, she felt the need to add, "Glasses are...a really good look for you. I just wasn't expecting that. Did you have them with you this whole time?" A dumb question, she thought, mentally kicking herself. How else would he have gotten them?

"I wold love to learn." He smiled, hearing her call him a friend. Standing, he looked up at her again, raising a brow. "Friend? I thought I was just the man you are indebted to." He smiled slightly, hearing the last. Here it was...the question he'd been dreading. "Um...actually...I went to my house to get them earlier today. I...I'm well enough to travel. To...to look after myself again."

"You're welcome to come in here and help with dinner if you want." She offered, pulling what she would need from the cabinets. "I think of you as my friend. I mean I know I'm the crazy girl that patched you together, but I really like talking to you." She added before she heard the last. Her face fell for only a moment, wondering why he hadn't simply remained at home. Maybe he wanted to say goodbye properly before he went back to his own life... "You're welcome to stay as long as you want, Yongguk-si." She offered carefully, hoping for a moment that he would at least remember her after he went home. "I'm...really glad you're feeling well. I know you must be stir-crazy after being cooped up in here for so long...but I hope you know my door's always open to you."

Standing and stretching, his shirt lifting slightly to reveal his stomach, he made his way to the kitchen. With a small smile, he stepped behind her to watch over her shoulder. "You think of me as a friend." He smiled a bit wider, hearing the last. After a moment, his smile fell and he took an uneven breath. "You...Want me to stay here? Haven't you gotten sick of me always being here, of looking after me?"

"Of course I do." She felt her smile gain a little strength, feeling her face heat a bit at the flash of his stomach. Aware of his nearness, she nodded, hair falling into her face as she set to chop vegetables. "I haven't gotten sick of you yet, Yongguk-si. I really like having you here, to be honest." She couldn't turn and see his face. She wasn't sure she could handle the discomfort she was sure he felt...or worse, any pity. "It's...been great having someone here to spend time with. Someone to talk to that...wanted to talk instead of asking me for money or an alibi. And it's been pretty great to see the man under the title and the mask you put on in front of the rest of the world."

"I'm still shocked you haven't gotten sick of me. I'm so needy sometimes." He laughed softly, shaking his head as he looked down at her. Before he could stop himself, his hand brushed her hip gently, wtaching her work at the vegetables. "I'm well enough to look after myself..but you want me to stay?" She hadn't said those exact words, techincally...but was she practically asking him to stay...?

"I could say the same for you getting sick of me." She couldn't hide a grin, breath hitching for just a moment at the brush of his hand on her hip. At the last, she knew she had said far too much, but she couldn't go back on it now. "...Yeah. It's...silly, isn't it?" She gave a weak laugh in response. "I'm sure you're dying to get back to your life."

"I mean... you want me to stay here, live here? Or you just want me to visit more often?" He couldn't hold back a small smile, fingers still brushing her hip for a moment more before her hand fell away. "I'ts not silly..."

"That would be up to you." She shrugged lightly, biting her lip in concentration as she continued her work. "I mean, I'm sure that I'm not the best roommate, but the offer's there." What the hell was she doing, her mind hissed. Was she really getting so attached to him so quickly? She needed to stop before she managed to break their friendship beyond repair.

He raised a brow, moving to lay his hand over hers to stop the knife's movement before he turned her around to face him, looking down, leaning over her. He tilted his head slightly, hair falling in his eyes as he watched her. "...What exactly are you wanting from me here, miss? So that I know I'm not ruining whatever friendship we have by not giving it to you."

Her breath stopped in her chest as she felt him turn her around, feeling the cabinet against her back as she met his eyes. Trying very hard not to think about the growing attraction she had been fighting off since his first night in her home, she cleared her throat, shaking her head. "I...you couldn't ruin this. I promise. All I want is to be your friend." She could feel her heart racing in her chest, too aware of how close he had gotten. "I'm...being ridiculous. I'm sorry, I'm...just...used to waiting around until someone decides I'm useful."

As she spoke, as he heard her words, he felt his body tense. Just a friend. She just wanted to be his friend. His heart twisted painfully and he forced himself to smile, nodding as he took a small step back, apologizing for being so close, for being in her space. He gestured to the food. "I'm sorry, I interrupted your cooking. But..if a friend is hat you want, a friend is what you'll have. I don't mind seeing you more." He cleared his throat, waiting for her to turn back around so that he could think clearly without the distraction of her gaze.

"You don't have to apologize," She shook her head, feeling her face heat with a weak smile. Watching his reaction, she wondered if she was imagining the tension in his eyes, the slightly forced look to his smile. "Are...you all right, Yongguk-si?" She asked after a moment, tilting her head.
