Once used for mining limestone in days long past, it's now a place frequented by Hakyeon's rougher "brothers" for interrogation purposes.

"Video...?" He repeated dumbly, finding that his legs couldn't hold his weight. For a moment, he knelt, ruffling his hair as he tried to keep his thoughts in order. They were quickly spiraling out of his control. A few hours ago his life was pristine, in perfect order...but now he couldn't tell what was real. "This is insane." He breathed to the ground in front of him. He had to get ahold of himself. He needed to drive. If he was going to be here for a while, he should get more supplies...

She shuddeered as she heard him say the word, as she remembered the cameraonce more. As she bit her lip, wishing more than anything that she could curl into a ball, that she could wrap her arms around herself, hold her knees to her chest, she ducked her head, hair falling to hide her face from view. She was going to be sick if she didn't stop replaying that moment over and over in her mind. As she heard the last, heard that her words seemed to be bothering him, she looked up through her hair. "...find...find th camera, if you have to...Just.." She ibit her lip hard. She hoped he would never tell her how much of it all he saw, should he ever look for that video

"No. I won't...I mean, I...I believe what you're saying." Standing after a moment, he let out a deep sigh. "I need...I need to get a few things. And dump that body. I'll be back." He said at length. She was miles away from civilization, and the sun was setting fast. It would soon be too dark for her to see her way on the road, especially bound as she was...there was no chance that she would run.

As he started to leave, she tensed, voice speaking a little too quickly, a little too shakily. "You're--you're going to leave me here...? A-alone?" She should be glad for that, her mind hissed. This man was still there to torture and then kill her. She shouldn't be afraid, upset that he was leaving her there. She should be celebrating... This was her chance to escape. But in that moment, she suddenly felt like escaping was the last thing she should do.

(So..I'm thinking when she escapes and runs off to where he actually ahs to track her down and find her it's not because she wants to save herself, it's because she's terrified to be alone so she's just looking for someone to stay nearby. So when he finds her again, he doesn't even have to tell her to put her hands behind her back, she'll immediately hold her arms out for him...which will be so new and shocking it can catch him off guard like the talking did. XD)

((He'll be so confused when she does that. XD))

"It'll only take a half hour. Maybe a little more." He shouldn't have said it, but the fear in her voice stuck out in his mind. It sounded a little strange. He wondered if she would try to run anyway...jumping into a stranger's car hadn't been the best idea, after all.

(I think at one point she'll actually ask him to kill her. Like...maybe Moon tells Kk to bring her back alive because he wants to kill her himself, when really hr just wants to bang her. So KK can tell her that Moon wants her alive --maybe up to that point he's still on the fence on if he believes her story or not. Maybe he thinks someone did thay stuff using his dad's name instead or something. So he tells her Moon wants hee alive, she breaks down, crying, begging him to kill her because she'd rather die than go back to him... Which can be when he decides to find the video of the thing, just to be sure it was really his dad. He sees the whole thing, comes back to her, trying to figure out what to do with her, ahe asks for his name, he finally tells her, then she gives him the file.. XD what do you think?)

She tensed, shifting a little in her seat as if in an attempt to get closer to him. Her hands were still bound. They'd remain bound, she was sure. It kept him at an advantage. But honestly, she didn't care much at this point anymore. After a moment more, she slowly nodded. "Only a half hour," she repeated, voice soft, trembling. She could survive a half hour alone... Couldn't she? She'd gone several weeks since that day alone, on the run...but the wound, the memory, suddenly felt much more real, much more fresh. She was sure it was from the corpse in the car outside. He'd brought it all back. She'd thought she'd been handling it well, but now she found herself trembling, unsure what to do, what shw could do. And she couldn't. Stop. Shaking.

((Ooooooh I like this. XD So he can totally lose faith in his dad, be a very confused murderer, find out that he's not even the dude's son, and have his whole world crash around him. Poor thing's gonna be devastated. XD))

She seemed afraid, he thought, though he was sure it was the promise that he would return, not the fact that he was leaving. Dumping a few more logs into the barrel to build the fire, he ruffled his hair again before making his way silently to the door. Thankfully the car still had the keys in the ignition, he thought. The car he had driven to the quarry was still there where he left it. He would dump the body, get something to eat...and from there he would figure out what to do with the conflicting thoughts in his head.

Minjun had worked hard. She's waited until the man left her alone. She'd intended to wait for him to return, but the feeling of being alone, of that man's hands on her, of everythign that had been happening, she couldn't stand it. She started hyperventilating and, in her panic, managed to loosen the ropes around her hands, get free, and run. She had no idea where she was running, she was miles from any source of light...and it was pitch black, but she kept running, down the road, until she came to ahighway. Keeping off the road, but close enough she could tell she was heading somewhere, though she didn't know where, she followed the paths. Several hours later, she managed to find her way to a small town. A small town no one knew her in. She slept in a barn behind someone's house and the next morning, she managed to convince one of the people in the town to pay her room and board in exchange for some farm work. She was lucky, she thought, that she'd learned how to do this when she was young. Sure the man was still hunting her, she gave a fake name,a fake background, and the older woman accepted it, though she seemed to know it was a lie. Two days. She stayed at that house, working for that woman for two days...And as her alarm went off, waking her before even the sun came up,s he made her way to the fields, wearing the hoodie the man had left with her, a pair of ripped jeans, and boots the woman had found that were just a little too big.

Jaerim wasn't surprised when he came back to the warehouse to find it empty. He was simply upset with himself for underestimating this woman again. He let his emotions get in the way of his efficiency and now he had to pay for it. It took some work to find out where she had gone, searching the immediate area until he found a small town that barely showed up on any map. He hadn't slept, too lost to his own work as he tried to push his concerns and worries to the back of his mind enough to get this job done. When he returned home with the girl...then he could ask his questions. Posing as a wanderer, he tracked her down to the field that she had volunteered to work in, managing to seem just lost and desperate enough for the woman to offer him a hot meal for an honest day's work. Wearing a loose t-shirt, worn jeans, and a baseball cap, he approached the woman as silently as possible from behind as she made her way to the field. "Don't run." He ordered, lowly enough that no passers-by could hear. "Things will be much worse if you do."

As she heard the voice behind her, she froze. Her body tensed slightly and she kept looking forward. The hat that sat on her head blocked the starting of the sun's rays from her eyes and she gave a shaky laugh. After a moment, she shook her head. "You think I'm going to run? You'd track me down, you'd find me. There's no reason for me to run. I've been waiting for you."

"If you've been waiting for me, why did you run?" He asked before he could stop himself. The threat left his voice, leaving only confusion in its wake.

"I've already talked to Madame. I told her if a man came here...looking innocent, sweet, lost...that I'd be leaving. We can go now." She shook her head, not wanting to answer his question. If she did, she was sure she'd only confuse him even more...and he had a job to do. She could respect that. "Where's your car? Or did you walk here?" She turned to face him, looking up at the man for the first time in the light. He was handsome. More attractive than any idol she'd seen...He seemed tense, emotionless..but it was his eyes that caught her attention. They seemed empty..yet full all at once. She offered a small smile, unaware that he could see her clearly for the first time as well as she held her arms out to him, careful to keep the sleeves over the scars on her wrists. "You want to tie me up again?"

Startled to find that she had a natural sort of beauty to her, he watched her carefully for a long moment, committing the sight to memory. Sunlight was more flattering on her, he found before he pushed the thought aside. He must be tired. Several sleepless nights weren't doing anything for his focus, though it had never bothered him before. "My car is parked outside of town. We'll have to walk to get there." He offered, not wanting to bind her hands in front of witnesses. "Walk with me a while--I don't want a scene. If you try anything, I'll take you down and handcuff you." He'd prepared better this time, complete with a fake police badge in the pocket of his jeans in case anyone got too curious.

She laughed, she actually laughed as the man spoke. Her eyes moved to meet his and she managed another small smile. "You don't have to threaten me. I just told you you can tie me if you want to. And I told you I wasn't running, i was waiting for you. If I was trying to get away from you, you think I wouldn't have been to China by now? I'm not going anywhere to get away. I' not going to run. And I'm not going to try anything." Lifting a hand to brush the tears that had cmoe to her eyes from her laughter away, she shook her head. She turned, starting toward the direction of his car with a soft hum. "Handcuffs this time? Are you posing as a cop or something, Mr. Killer?" If he asked her again, she decided, she'd tell him why she'd escaped if she was just going to wait for him...but most likely he wouldn't care in the first place.

"You...why are you so willing to work with me? Why did you run if you're complying so easily?" He asked next, keeping an even pace with her as he looked to her with a frown.

Shel ooked up at him, brow furrowing as she thought his words over. WAs he really not getting it? After a moment, she cleared her throat. "Do you...do you really want to know?"

"I wouldn't have asked if I didn't." The statement was simply that, no attitude intended toward her. He was still surprised that she was willing to walk beside him so calmly.

She watched him, thinking her words over carefully for a long mometn before she cleared her throat. "...I told you...I didn't want to be alone. When you left...I panicked. So I found the closest person that I could stay with..until you came to get me." She watched him, wondering if he'd be shocked by her answer, if he'd believe her. "I ran...because I was left there on my own. I had no intention of staying gone...I was just waiting on my ride."

"You...you didn't..." He frowned at the thought, stopping for a moment as he stared at her in open confusion. "Why...didn't you say something? You'd rather be in the company of a known murderer than be left alone?" It made less and less sense the more he thought it over. What sort of trauma would cause such a reaction...?

"I did say something. I don't know how I could have been more obvious about my aversion to being alone aside from begging you not to go. And if I did that, you would have thought I had some trick up my sleeve and left me there anyway." she shook her head, stopping as he did, turning to face him again. "I mean, think about it. If I'd asked you to stay..you would have left even faster, just to mss with me. As another kind of torture. I'm not stupid, Mr. Killer." As she heard the lst,s he nodded slowly. "I guess I would. EVen a murderer, even someone who is torturing me beyond belief...is someone inthe room with me. Is someone keeping me from being alone."
