"No, someone that I saw right before I moved...when I moved into my aunt's house, right after my leg was hurt, I couldn't travel anywhere. There was a girl that lived down the street that would pass by my window sometimes..." She witnessed his attempts at escape. His attempts to reach his mother. "She tried to talk to me sometimes...I think I worried her." He admitted before seeing the light in her eyes. "Would you like to design an outfit for me? I'd be happy to pay your rates; I can tell you have a good eye for fashion."

"Sounds like she was akind girl. Is my kind heart the reason I remind you of her?" She smiled, leading him toward the door, careful to stay in step in case he needed help. As she heard the last, she stopped walking, looking up at him in surprise. "You're...asking me to design something? But you still haven't even seen if I can do it. You don't even know if I can actually make it."

"She was. I wish we had been able to talk." He nodded, stopping as she froze on the path. "You said before that no one gave you a chance to show your skills. Why not have me be the first? I can tell you have a passion for this." He shrugged lightly, an easygoing smile on his lips.

"I mean...you don't even want to see what I can come up with before you decide that you want me to do it? I'd hate for you to pay for something you hate." He wanted to support her? He really wanted to help her? Why..? It didn't make sense. He didn't even know her.

"I don't think I'd hate it. Anything is better than what I usually wear." He promised, shaking his head with a soft chuckle. "If you want, you could draw up a few ideas and I'd pay you for the time. Then we could work out any changes if I'm not completely on board."

Thinking it over, she nodded slowly. "If you pick up that scarf tomorrow and you're not just going to disappear, then yeah...I'll agree to that. I still fee like after this hospital trip, I'm never going to see you again." with a soft laugh, she began walking toward the door again. "Can you walk? How does your leg feel?"

"I'm not that cruel, I promise." He shook his head with a chuckle. "I'm a man of my word...and I like talking to you." At the last, he fell into step with her, shaking his head. "It hurts, but it's not unbearable. I can still walk, so it could be worse."

A man of his word. She liked that. As she heard him say he liked talking to her, she smiled. There was a good chance she wouldn't be able to talk again at the end of the week. If she didn't get this money, they'd cut her tongue out. That was their latest threat, and she knew, she knew very well they meant it. Giving a weak smile that didn't reach her eyes, she glanced at him again. "do you need anything? Is there anything I can do..?"

"I'm fine, miss Zoey. Just having you here is making me feel much better than I expected to." He assured her with a widening smile. Seeing the way her smile shifted, he added, "Are you all right?"

Nodding at his words, she forced herself to brighten, to make the smile more believable. Her eyes moved to his and she gave a soft laugh before moving to open the door for him. "I'm fine. I just have a lot on my mind, that's all." He felt better having her there..there was no reason to make that feeling go away. "I'm so glad you feel better."

"I'm glad to have you here, honestly. I've...never been to the hospital before. My aunt was a nurse, she...she took care of my leg for the most part. She never trusted doctors." That was safe enough to admit, wasn't it?

"Well I won't leave your side as long as you don't want me to." She smiled, looking up at him. "I don't like doctors much either, but they're necessary sometimes. You have nothing to be afraid of." Smiling a little wider, she reached out before she could think, placing a hand on his shoulder gently.

The touch surprised him, but he found that it was more comforting than anything. He usually hated letting anyone so close... "Nothing to be afraid of." He repeated softly, a relieved smile on his lips. "This has to be pretty sad, isn't it? A grown man being afraid to see a doctor." He added with a soft laugh.

She shook her head. "Everyone's afraid of something." With a small smile, she stepped closer to him. After a moment, she realized what she'd done, she dropped her hand from his shoulder, cheeks flushing softly. "Sorry. I didn't mean to...grab you like that." Biting her lip, she opened the door for him.

"No, it...it helped. Thank you." He nodded, thanking her before turning and holding the door for her in turn. For a moment, he ran through his personal details in his head, making sure that all of his documentation had been updated before his return to Korea.

"It helped?" That was surprising... Surprised at the shift, she felt her cheeks flush softly. Even injured, he was such a gentleman. "Thank you..." As she led the way inside, she spoke to a nurse inside, waiting for him to be taken to a room to be checked. It didn't take long. It seemed the hospital recognized that he came from money.

He had barely filled out his paperwork before they were asking to see him, raising an eyebrow as he looked over to his new friend as they called his name. "Is that...usual?" He asked, knowing that waiting times he had heard of were much longer than that.

Shaking her head, she smiled weakly. "If I had come here for me, I'd be waiting for a few hours...at least." She gave a small shrug. "They can see you have..money. That's why I rought you here. These are the best doctors..and because of your..financial situation, you'll be seen quickly." The quicker he could leave and be comfortable again... "Do you..want me to go with you?"

"Please?" He gave a small, nervous smile, not wanting to be left alone so soon. And he could ask for her wounds to be looked after as well...it was the least he could do for asking so much of her in such a short time.

Surprised that he seemed so content with her being there, she smiled. Nodding, her fingers moved to his arm, gripping lightly before following the nurse, being careful not to leave him behind and to provide support if he needed it.
