A high end bar frequented by most of the city's elite. Many deals, both political and private, are wound to life here. A basement lies below, soundproofed, that holds the base of operations for Hakyeon's "family" and the blood and money they trade.

Giving a weak smile at his words, she gave his fingers a squeeze. "Just... Talk about anything. Whatever you want." As long as he stayed by her, she didn't care...

With a smile, he shifted to hold her hand more comfortably as he started on a story of a debate he and an old friend had gotten into over a soccer game they were watching at a restaurant a few weeks before. The debate had needed some outside opinions, but eventually just ended in the two bickering until they got into a scuffle.

"you...you fought your friend... Over a soccer game debate?" She looked up at him, raising a brow before a small, nearly nonexistent smile pulled at her lips. She couldn't remember smiling at him at all before.

"The last time we fought was when he ate my leftovers." He laughed with a nod. "We've been friends since we were in middle school...if there's a reason to spar, we'll find one. Most of the time I wipe the floor with him."

"Your left....you really like food, don't you?" She managed another weak smile before she heard a noise at the window and jumped, moving closer to him. It was the wind, she was sure...but the noise still startled her.

"Those were from my favorite noodle place; he knew better." he insisted with a small huff, smile brightening at the sight of her own. At the jump, his fingers tightened around hers, hoping to reassure her that she was safe. "Do you want to move into the living room? The windows are farther away and the TV might distract you..."

"Your favorite...You're really serious about that food." She shook her head, feeling his hand tighten around hers and allowing herself to relax a little. She looked up at him at the last, taking a deep breath. "Can we take the blankets...?" Would he leave her alone in the livingroom? Would he let go of her hand...?

"I love food." He nodded with a smile. At the last, he nodded, smile gaining a little strength. "Hell, I'll build you a fort if you want. Can you walk?"

Her eyes brightened at the idea of a blanket fort, cheeks flushing softly. As he asked if she could walk, she nodded, slowly moving off the bed. She winced at the pain in her feet, but she could stand. She was alright.

Gathering the blankets in his free arm, he kept her hand in his as he led them into the living room. "I think I have more blankets in the closet..." He mumbled, leading her to the couch.

Following slowly after him, she bit her lip, still shivering. As he broguht her to the couch, she sat down, curling up immediately, but not releasing his hand. "...are you going to make a fort?" It would distract her from everything outside. Already she felt safer..

"If you want me to. But I might need both hands for a few minutes." He pointed out, not wanting to let go of her hand until she released first. It seemed to be helping her to have something to hold onto...

She bit her lip at his words, nodding slowly. "Okay...okay, you can have your hand. You..." She couldn't force herself to release him. Taking a shaky breath, she looked up at him. "You'll..stay in it with me, too? WE can pretend..there's nothing outside."

"I'm not going to leave the room, all right? I promise." He assured her softly, taking her hand in both of his to give it a reassuring squeeze before releasing it with some reluctance. Pulling some cushions from the chairs on either side of the couch, he rearranged them with some of the couch cushions and the backs of the chairs themselves into a makeshift frame for the blankets. "Of course I'll stay. What's the point of all this work if I can't enjoy it, too?" He asked with a soft laugh, having to pull one of the dining room chairs closer to strengthen the structure. He was only a little ashamed to admit that he'd had practice in this.

As he released her hand, she immediately wished he was back. Her heart was pounding and she felt a panic rush through her, but she forced herself to act fine, to not show her fear. As he began setting up the structure, she felt her worry ease and she gave a small smile. "You look..like you've done this a lot."

"I, uh...yeah, a few times." He laughed softly, fixing the last blanket into place before dropping the extras on her lap and returning to sit next to her. "What do you think, will this work?" He asked, fixing her with a smile.

She looked the fort over for a moment before nodding with a small smile. She pulled the blankets closer, shifting to sit under the fort and look up at him, almost looking like a child in her movement. "Should we watch something? A movie? A drama?"

"What do you want to watch?" He asked in return, smile widening at the display before he settled in by her. She was adorable... "What would be a good distraction?"

"Something happy? Something...fun." She shrugged smoothly, glad to feel his warmth next to her. "I...don't know why I came back here, you know..."

"Something fun." He nodded, turning the television on and flipping through the movies to watch. After a moment, he hovered over one section, knowing that a mobster that watched cartoons was pretty embarrassing to most, but deciding that it was worth revealing for her peace of mind. "Kids' movies are fun." He offered, selecting the folder. At the last, he raised an eyebrow, looking over to her. "I'm glad you did." He said at last.
