Wishing her a good night, he watched her leave, noting which direction she turned. It wouldn't be hard to track her down, he knew, waiting just long enough that she wouldn't see him before standing and moving to the door as well. He had to see this fiancee for himself...get his ideas in order.

((Got it. XD))

Jongup had been careful. He had meant to kill the fiancee, but he had proven more resilient than he expected. The man would be bedridden and need care for the rest of his life. He hoped that his new friend wouldn't feel obligated to stay. But either way, the plan was to come to fruition soon. He had been following her patterns meticulously, planning everything down to the last detail. Though, he thought...it would be a shame to lose someone so fascinating. But he couldn't risk her finding out who was behind the disappearances she was studying so closely.

About a week had passed since Inna met Jongup. She hadn't seen him, hadn't even clled him for fear of the repercussions her fiance would give. But when she found him bloody, half-dead, and begging for help, a sense of relief washed over her. That was...until she took him to the hospital and learned hat he'd be bedridden for the rest of his life, he'd need constant care...and when she took him home and dealt with his whining and his expectations and his insults, she realized how much she couldn't handle it, how much she really didn't love him. Leaving her ring on his nightsand and calling his mother to come look afer him, she packed the small amount of her own things and left, realizing for the first time that she had no where to go... She found herself in that same park she'd met her friend, once again crying, all alone. After several minutes, shivering in the cold, she picked up her phone. Not wanting to inerrupt him, she typed out a small text. "Hello. I'm sorry I took so long to talk to you."

Surprised to feel his phone buzzing in his pocket, he shifted a little from his place at a picnic table in the darkest parts of the park. Reading the text, he raised an eyebrow before choosing his response carefully. "Don't worry about it. How have you been?"

"Been better." She gave a weak laugh as she typed the response, eyes burning as she took a shaky breath. Then typing a seon text, she bit her lip. "How about you? How are you? What are you doing?"

"Sleepless as usual. Just got off of work, I'm at the park now." Then, after a moment, he sent, "Are you okay? What happened?" Had she left the fiancee after all?

"You're at the park?" Her heart jumped. She had'nt seen him since that first time..She wiped at her eyes but i did little to nothing to help before her phone buzzed again and she saw the last message. BIting her lip again, she typed out another reply. "What makes you think something happened...? I'm fine."

"You said you've been better. Saw what happened to your boyfriend on the news. You sure you're fine?" She couldn't be there, could she? Standing, he pulled his hood up against the wind and started down the path, looking around for any signs of his intended victim.

"I'm fine, really. Just had a stressful day." She though over the next statement before taking a deep breath. "It's been...stressful and crazy, but we'll survive." Just not together. Tears started anew, streaming down her cheeks as she shivered in the cold, realizing she left her jacket back at the house...she'd just have to get a new one when she found a place and a new job.

Rounding the corner, he looked up from his phone to see a familiar figure shivering as she walked. "Inna-si?" He asked aloud, stuffing his phone back into his pocket.

Freezing as she heard the voice, she bit her lip to keep herself from being too loud, to keep him from noicing she was crying. Her heart pounded and her stomach twisted painfully before she forced her voice to remain steady. "...ah...J-Jongup-si. I was just h-heading home."

"You're crying again. What's wrong?" Was he concerned? He shouldn't be. Frowning slightly, he moved to stand in front of her. "Did something happen?"

"I'm not crying again. I-" she cut off, freezing as he stood in front of her. She kept her head ducked, hair in her face as she shivered, biting her lip though the tears idn't stop and didn't slow. As he asked if something happened, she took a shaky breath. "I...I'm fine. Please, don't worry. I just...I...well...I'm single now. I guess...I guess that's all it is...

Finding that he didn't know what to do in the wake of her sudden emotional state, he shifted a little, hands in his pockets. "...Come on. Let's find someplace warm to talk. You look like you're freezing." He offered, holding his hand out to her to lead her along.

Shivering again, she shook her head. "I'm...I"m not really...up for being aorund other people right now. Is there some place we...c-can go that there's no one else?" She shook her head again, tears contiuing down her cheeks as she lifted a shaky hand to her cheek, trying to wipe at the tears desperaely...seh was freezing.

"I know a place. C'mon." He took her hand gently, starting down the path. After a moment, he slipped his jacket from his shoulders, pausing to place it on hers instead. "It's freezing, you have to be miserable."

Surprised by his touch, the feel of his hand around her own, her voice broke and she ook a deep breath to keep from speaking again. Her fingers tightened on his, following his direction. When he stopped to slip the jacket around her shoulders, she held it tightly around her shoulders, offering a weak and sob filled thanks. She gripped the jacket to keep it firmly in place as she shivered. "Why am I...a-always crying...when I meet you..?"

"I don't know, but I hope next time is happier. I don't...know what to do when someone's crying." He took her hand once again with a weak laugh, leading her out of the park and down a darkened street. He knew the path by heart, pausing before a dance studio that hadn't been open to the public in several years. A quick rigging of the lock had the door opening, gesturing for her to enter first. "It'll be warmer in here once I get the heater running."

She followed him to the studio, watcing him open the lock before he escorted her in. She stepped just enough inside to be out of the iwnd before looking around curiously through her tears. Her hair was wild, hanging in her face. After a moment, she glanced back at him. "You..don't have to do this. Crying..makes you uncomfortable, obviously. I'm fine on my own." God, why was his hand so comforting, so warm?
