Fingers tightening in his shirt, she nuzzled further into his chest. Her heart quickened at the thought of him leaving again and she shook her head. "I'm....You don't have to get me anything. I can...can do without."

"You've spent too much time doing without. But I don't want to let you go." He admitted with a soft huff, nuzzling his chin into the top of her head.

Hearing the huff, she finally took a deep breath, forcing herself to tilt her head back to look up at him. He didn't want to let her go? But for how long? Sweat still beaded across her forehead. Her eyes moved to meet his and she took a shaky breath. "I...don't feel so well."

"You're still running a fever." he frowned, bringing a hand to brush her hair aside, feeling her forehead. "What do you need? What would help you fel better?"

As she felt cool fingers aainst her skin, she leaned into his touch. She took a shaky breath, lifting a hand to grasp his gently. "Your hands...feel cold. They're usually so warm...but it feels nice."

Giving a small smile, he turned his hand to wrap his fingers around hers. "You're...burning up. You should probably take something to help bring your fever down. And you need to let yourself rest and recover."

"I don't have anything to take. We'r enot exactly in my house, you know. This is still...your apartment." She leaned into his touches, shivering again. "I...really like how cool you feel..." It was helping, it was keeping her from getting dizzy.

"I have a few things. I don't like doctors." He ran his thumb over her fingers, using his free hand to brush through her hair again. "This was my hideout before I gave it to you. Technically it's still your place."

"Jongup, I haven't been in this apartment since you left me in the park." She looked up at him again, taking a shaky breath. "This is your place. It's always been your place and I couldn't stand being in it...This has never been my place."

"I...I know. Maybe giving it to you when I did was bad timing..." He chuckled weakly, brushing his fingers over her forehead again. "I'm...as much as I love this, as much as I missed you...why are you letting me do this? I thought you never wanted to see me again..."

"I never said I didn't." Her voic was soft, gaze dropping, unable and unwilling to meet his. She took a shaky breath. "I mean...You're the one that left me there, that took off. You assumed I'd turn you in and you...were the one that decided to leave, to never come back. I never told you to go, Jongup."

"You...you didn't know what to do. You said yourself that you couldn't believe what I had done. You didn't want me near you. I thought that meant permanently." He let his fingers brush over her cheek, unwilling to stop any sort of contact between them. "I...left you alone. I thought that was what you wanted. I'm...I'm sorry."

"I needed space, time to think. I needed a break. You had literally just wrapped a cord around my neck and tried to kill me. You had killed multiple other women before. Even right now I'm not sure exactly what...I want to do about all of this. But I never wanted you to go and never come back." She bit her lip, still unable to meet his gaze as she thought her words over very carefully. "I'm still afraid, Jongup...but...it's more that I'm afraid that I don't know you...how much of..of what I saw, what I wanted in you...was really you..?"

"I never lied about that. Talking to you, dancing with you, every touch, every kiss..." He brushed his thumb over her cheek, unable to tear his eyes from her. "...That was the truth. It was all me."

The raid was a resounding success. Himchan had several thousand dollars more to his name, several mutinous thugs were dead, and Jongup was having the time of his life. It was his turn to run cleanup, whistling a bright tune as he dragged several plastic bags to the pile of garbage outside of the warehouse. No one would notice the parts of what had previously been a small gang as they made their way to the landfill. Or if they did...no one would say a word. He'd have to change as soon as he could, he thought. Blood was a problem when making the human body travel-sized, and as good as he had gotten at his job, he hadn't perfected the art of remaining spotless in its wake.

Inna hated this city. She hated it with a passion and she especially hated where she lived. Drugs littered the streets, as did bodies most days, she heard gunfire and sirens nearly every night. She'd come to Seoul to pursue her dreams, to be an idol...but so far she hadn't even managed to become a trainee... As she was walking hoke from the cafe, hair a mess, apron on, she didn't notice the man down the alley as she turned between the dimly lot buildings.

Hearing the footsteps approaching, he paused for a moment. Light. The pace suggested a woman. It wasn't smart to take a shortcut home this time of night, he thought with a smirk, tossing the last bag on top of the stack and listening to the sound that suggested that it was far heavier than it needed to be. Wondering if it would be easier to let her pass, he turned to face her as she approached. In the dim light, he could make out a few of her features. Pretty. Maybe being stuck with the grunt work wouldn't be as boring as he thought. "Evening," He greeted, readjusting one of the bags to sit a little more naturally.

As she heard the voice through the shadows, she froze. Her eyes glanced up from where they'd been focused on the ground. Surely it wasn't anyone talking to her. But when her eyes settled on a dark figure, a person, she frowned. Maybe if she ignored him, he'd go away .. She'd seen him a couple times around the city, he was always with a group of men and he always seemed a little...not-all-there. she bit her lip, moving to step past him without a word. She'd fight if she had to, she could... But she didn't particularly want to this time.

"Now that's kind of rude," He commented, a little put out by the obvious rejection. "Even a hello would be better than being ignored. Don't you know that there are people in this town that would attack you for something like that?" Shaking his head with a click of his tongue, he went back to straightening the trash bags. "You're lucky it's only me. Some of those other guys are pretty easily offended."
