"Yet. You seem so encouraging, so sure I won't." She laughed weakly, feeling his hand on her waist and shivering slightly. One hand shifted o his chest, brushing jus above his heart absently as she looked up at him to meet his gaze. "I'm doing better? Really?" After a moment, she smiled slightly. "Do you think I'd make a good dancer, then?" It was an obvious joke

"I usually leave room for error." He shot her a wink, giving her fingers a gentle squeeze as he shifted the tempo just slightly, testing her. "I think you will." He added, smile widening slightly.

"Do you think I'll make one, then? An error?" With a soft laugh, she raised a brow. As his fingers squeezed hers and as he shifted the tempo, she felt her body move more solidly against his as she felt all her fear, her worry, her pain wash away. All tha tmattered was the man that held her, danced with her now. "I will?"

"You're doing great already." He pointed out, voice lowering a little as she pressed closer. "You have good rhythm, you're moving with me without any problems...you're the perfect height to dance with me."

As she heard his voice lower, her heart jumped. She was certain he could feel it, ,maybe ieven hear it. She looked up at him, hand still brushing his chest gently before she gave a small smile. "You must tell all your students that."

Smiling as he felt her pulse quicken under his hand, he shook his head. "You're the first. Out of a hundred students..." He tightened his hold just slightly, holding her a little closer.

Her heart jumped at his touch, the tightening of his grip. She kept her eyes on him and she took a shaky breath, offering a small smile. "The first? I can't believe that. There has to be someone my height you've danced with before..."

"Some were a little too tall, a little too short...but usually I didn't dance with them personally. Not unless they needed extra help...you're my first one-on-one lesson."

Her cheeks flushed softly as she looked up at him, meeting his gaze. "Your first? Really? I would assume with you being a teacher one on one lessons would be...normal."

"I found it easier teaching groups when I was able to watch everyone all at once." He shrugged slightly, meeting her eyes with a small smile. "No one ever asked me for one-on-one lessons."

"Groups...? Should...should we find a group, then? So you don't have to teach me all al-" she cut off as she lost her footing pressing a little harder against him and gripping his shirt tight to keep herself balanced. Her heart raced as she realized she could feel his heartbeat against her own chest. They were way too close...

"Careful," He warned, shifting his hold to catch her with a soft chuckle. Finding that she was entirely too close, he felt his breath hitch in his chest. "Are you...all right?" He breathed.

As she looked up at him, her eyes remained locked on his. Her fingers tightened in his shirt for a moment before she slowly regained her footing and released his shirt. "I'm...I'm fine. I jsut..lost my st-my step." Looking up at him, she flushed softly. "I...I'm sorry I fell on you. Maybe...Maybe I shouldn't be dancing after all." She gave a nervous laugh, loosening her grip on him once again.

"One trip shouldn't make you give up. I'm surprised you're doing so well." He assured her, making no move to release her. "Want to try again?" He was reluctant to let her move too far away, to break the trance that had fallen between them.

As his grip remained firm, she realized she couldn't pull free. He wouldn't let her. With her heart racing and her cheeks flushed, she bit her lip, looking up at him once again. After a long moment, she nodded. "Yeah. Yeah, I want to try again...but...no laughing at me, alright? I told you I was clumsy."

"I'm not laughing. I'm pretty clumsy when I'm not dancing." He pointed out, shaking his head with a smile. "You're doing great, I promise."

She smiled, cheeks flushing softly at the compliment before she heard the song wind to an end. Her smile fell. "The..song's over. Are you sure you don't want to be done with our lesson?"

"Why stop at one? You've got the basics down, why not try something a little more fun?" He asked, raising an eyebrow as he tilted his head. He wasn't sure why he wanted to stay close to her, why he wanted ot make this moment last as long as possible...but he certainly wasn't about to complain.

She bit her lip, thinking his question over before nodding. "Okay. Something a little more fun. Like what..?" Her heart was still racing every time he looked at her. It was driving her insane...why did her whole body hum at his touch...?

"Something upbeat." He felt a wider smile pull at his lips, glad that the playlist seemed to know just what he wanted. A fun, sexy beat thumped through the speakers, bringing a low chuckle from his chest. "Something like that..." he added, glad for his luck.
