A locally-run coffee shop frequented by the group's younger members. Seems to do well despite not having much foot traffic.

"Well, if you ever want another debate with someone you're not sure is Kira, I'll be here every night until I get this stupid paper written." He offered with a small smile. "And I'm a part-time tutor if you need any help with your classes. It's nice to have a good conversation for once."

"And I'll be glad to listen to your ideas and give some input on that paper, if you want." She laughed softly, looking at him for a moment. Deciding to take a risk, she reached out and took his hand into hers, pulling out a pen, she wrote her phone number onto his palm and smiled. "If you want to meet for coffee sometime, just call me. BUt you may have to wait until I get my next paycheck."

Surprised by the touch, he watched her write her number down before allowing himself a small smile. "It's a deal. Same for you, all right? I live pretty close by; I'm here all the time."

With a small smile, she gave a slight bow and moved toward the door. "I'll see you next time, Mr. Jung." Walking through the door, she immediately wondered how long it would take this strange man to call her.

He sighed as she left, settling into his chair. She had accused him a time or two of being Kira. Which was...problematic. But the fact that she was so witty, so smart, so fascinating...it intrigued him. He liked her, which could either be a very good thing or a very bad one. But talking to a girl he was interested in was what a normal college student would do, right? It would help him in the long run...and he wasn't willing to let her walk out of his life so easily.

(Wanna wobbly to maybe her working at the restaurant and he could show up, maybe on a date or something and not know she works there...he's seated at her section? XDDD)

((Dude yes. XD))

Taekwoon hated blind dates. He especially hated blind dates that his mother set him up on, simply because they were always with young, rich girls deemed "successful" when in reality they were all vapid, boring, insufferable mosquitoes intent on sapping the life out of him. He couldn't stand them. But he found himself sitting at a table waiting for his date to show up, already working out the best excuse to cut it short with. His annoyance was nearly tangible, wanting nothing more than to be at home to finish his homework in time to have some rest during the weekend.

She was exhausted. She'd worked so hard to finish her classes for the day and had ended up nearly an hour late for work. As a punishment, she was given half of the restaurant as a section to wait and was told if she wanted to keep her job, she'd successfully handle the night alone... She sighed softly, gathering up the menus and making her way to a young man's table. As she approached from behind, she set the menu in front of him and across where his date would soon sit. "Good evening. I hope you had a great day, what can I get you to drink?" Her eyes were on the notepad, not focusing on the man at all.

"Sunmin-si." He greeted, surprised to see a familiar face in this restaurant that he didn't want to smash into a table. Smiling despite himself, he added, "Water would be great. I didn't know you worked here."

As she heard the voice, her breath caught. Her hair was a mess, her uniform was a messs, she was mess. She dropped her small notepad in her surprise, cheeks flushing. "Jung...Mr. Jung!" Clearing her throat, she bent to pick up the notepad. "W..water you said?"

"Yes, please. I'm...honestly glad to see a friendly face here. I hope you've been well." He hadn't seen any other waitresses in the restaurant since he had been seated...was she working alone?

Cheeks flushing darker, she moved her fingers to tuck her hair back behind her ear again. "I've...I've been alright. Are you here alone?"

"I wish." He gave a soft groan, running a hand over his face. "Do you have any good excuses to get out of a blind date with an insufferable girl? I've used college too many times; my mother's found someone that doesn't care about a crazy schedule so long as I can buy her what she wants."

"How do you know she's insufferable if you haven't even met her yet?" she laughed softly, surprised that she was able to laugh now. If her boss caught her, she'd be fired instantly. "How are you so sure she's just after money?"

"She's the daughter of a friend of my mother's, and I know she's only after money because the last seven dates my mother has found in her friend group has been exactly the same. She's too kind-hearted to realize that most of these harpies are only after someone with a good career ahead of him, and enough inheritance in his name to make sure that she's taken care of before I find where I want to be in life." He sighed wearily, combing his fingers through his hair. "They're looking for a husband. A cash cow. I'd rather sink into the floor and die."

"Tell her you're becoming a cop. She'll run right out. Cops don't make good money and she'll hate that." She smiled slightly, glancing around The room to see three customers waiting on a refill. With a soft curse, she gave him a small bow. "I'll be right back with your water. And good luck on your date..."

"That's...a good idea." He gave a small bow in return, giving a wry laugh. "Here's hoping it's a short one..." Already he was hoping to get away, wishing that he could find some measure of peace.

"At least try to enjoy yourself. You look like you could use some fun, any fun." She laughed softly, shaking her head as she moved toward the other tables. Apologizing multiple times to the people insulting and complaining to her, she ducked her head. Shit... She'd be lucky if she kept her job.

Watching as the girl met nothing but problems from her other tables, he frowned, thinking the options over before standing, making his way to the hostess stand and politely asking for a manager. Once he had the attention of the man that had likely set his friend to this task, he coolly explained that the amount of labor piled on a single waitress was unethical and illegal, and the right call to the right place could very well shut the restaurant down for an audit that would dig deep into what other illegal practices they were willing to go through with. His eyes were steel, his stance radiating the power and authority that one might expect from a man that called himself the purifier of the world...

The manager had nearly argued before he heard saw the other man and the matter-of-fact way he addressed him. Unethical and illegal. With a frown, he straightened. "What do I need to do to make you...look the other way about all this? To not contact...them..?"
