The Rabbit Hole
NoWealthNoRuin HC's Territory
A nightclub skirting the neighborhood between the rougher side of town and the classier neighborhoods. The main bar and dance floor is located in the front, with a quieter private lounge in the back where the finer points of Himchan's job are delegated to the other members of the group. Any revenue built by the club is honestly made, though it does house one of the most powerful mob families in the city.

((Oh noooooooo XD))

"You're...a psychiatrist?" He asked, raising an eyebrow. That was...not ideal. It was a wonder she hadn't tried to diagnose him as their last doctor had been so happy to do. New pills, new words, new diseases every month. It was a wonder none of the others hadn't stopped the sessions before he had. After a moment, he cleared his throat, hoping to hide the slip. "I...don't know if I would have bled out."

"You wouldn't have bled out but you could have gotten an infection." She shrugged. "Who knows where that blade has been that cut you." As she looked up at him, she smiled slightly. "I'm a psychiatrist. I know...most peopleare uncomfortable around shrinks, but I promise I won't diagnose you."

"Thanks for that. I've got...bad experiences." As did a lot of people in the city, he knew. There were too few good shrinks in the world, and he was convinced that none of them were in Seoul. But this woman was something else... "I keep enough on hand to make sure I don't get into too much trouble. I, uh...don't normally like doctors."

"I couldnt tell." the sarcasm dripped form her voice as she smirked, finishing up with the stitching in his side before wrapping hte wound in the bandage. "Do you need some pain killers, ahjussi?" He seemed almost...worried about who she was, what she did. Was there more to him than she realized?

"I barely feel it." Shaking his head, he shifted a little, testing his limits before brushing his fingers along the bandage absently. It was so much neater when someone else was the one to patch him up... "I'm sorry...for pulling you away from your night out." He felt the need to say at last.

Shaking her head for a moment, she smiled. "Don't be sorry. I...hated being there in the first place, i wasjust dragged out by my coworkers to celebrate and I...I hate going out. I just, I"m not really social and I hate attention and...I, I don't know...I just feel so out of place when I'm out...like no one would really miss me if I was gone."

"I know that better than you might think." His expression grew distant for a moment, tilting his head as he observed her. There was far more to her than she let on, it seemed. "Like there's...a bubble around you, right? Keeping you from really being a part of whatever you're doing."

She nodded, hearing his words and looking up at him in surprise. She'd never heard anything so...accurate to her own situation. After a moment, she shook her head. "It must seem so stupid. I mean, you had no problem fitting in at that bar, but I...I don't know..I don't really have friends much, just my brother."

"I wasn't really fitting in. Just...watching people. Enjoying being outside of the house for once." He shook his head with a wry chuckle. "I live in that bubble, too...I don't think it's stupid at all."

"Outside of the house? Do you not get out much? You seem the type to be out every chance you get." She shook her head. As she heard him say he lived in the bubble, too, she raised a brow, watching him closely. "You still seemed....right at home there." She hadn't meant to mention that she'd seen him before the fight, saw him in the bar, the way he acted in the bar alone.

"You're not wrong. But.... I don't get the chance that often." He chuckled wryly. "I like being around people. But most of the time I don't like people. It's...not the best cycle."

"How do you not ge tthe chance that often?" She shook her head with a weak laugh. "I just can't imagine you not going out every night. It seems so..natural for you." As she heard the last, she gave a soft laugh. "I...actually know exactly what you mean. I feel the same way." With a small smile, she glanced up at the clock. She had to clock in for work in only ten minutes.

"Let's say my family is...overbearing." he decided that would be the easiest way to explain it. "It's not often that I can get away and enjoy myself." As she shifted, he watched her carefully. "I should be the one surprised...you look like you need a few nights out. Ones you enjoy."

"Overbearing family? I get that, too." She laughed softly, looking up at him with a small smile. "I could definitely use some nice nights out, nights I actually would enjoy..."

"What would you do, then? If bars aren't your thing, what would you enjoy?" He asked, surprised to find that he was honestly curious.

She shrugged. "I don't think the bars would bother me so much, I just don't like the people I go with much. I like karaoke...and I like games...I don't know." She shrugged again with a soft laugh. "I never really think about it."

"Why not find better friends?" He asked with a soft chuckle of his own. "I mean...spending so much time in someone else's head, you have to find a way to unwind, right?"

"Hard to do when I work at the hospital for 90 percent of my time, isn't it?" She shrugged, hearing the last and frowning slightly. "I haven't..really thought of it that way. I mean, I"m still a resident right now, I"m not able to start my own practice yet..."

"You want to open your own office? That takes a lot of practice...and a lot of regulars." He pointed out, watching her in open fascination. Was she usually that well-received?

She shrugged. "I know it's hard work, did you think getting this far was easy? I have my dreams and I intend to see them through no matter who satands in my way. I know I can do a lot of good and help a lot of people and I'm going to."
