History: Fi was born from his selkie mother and oddly, an Elf father. His father had captured his mother one day from her visiting the land and stole her skin. She was loyal to him, trying to find her skin for years. She gave birth to a child, a boy, his father named him Fi. Despite her captivity, she enjoyed having her son. Though longed for freedom. Fi found his mother's skin one day when he was merely 8 years old. His mother took it and tried to bring Fi with her, Fi too shifted into a Selkie, and fled with his mother.
For 20 years, he stayed with his mother, her showing him the world of which she came from. Learning how to hide from humans, coming to land and being unseen. At 28, Fi and his mother revisited the very beach, he and his mother left on. His father, still waiting for his wife and son to return. This time, his father didnt take their skins, but wanted at least his son to be with him. His mother let him stay with his father. Fi learned how to hunt, hide, and use what ability he had as an Elf.
For the next 43 years, Fi was 71, stayed with his father, missing his mother. Fi learned magic spells that his father taught him. He learned of plants and herbs to help with wounds, eating, and to kill. He often too dips into the ocean, taking on his Selkie form.
Fi finally left his father and went back to the ocean, swimming to lands he wanted to see. He came to land one night, unknowingly near the landing of a hidden ship. An Elf soldier saw a seal come to shore, and amazingly turn into a man. Knowing the legends of the Selkie, he snuck up on Fi and stole his skin. Fi tried to get it back, but failed. He didnt have the strength fighting off the other, a warrior trained male.
Keeping it secret of having Fi's selkie skin, he claimed he found Fi wandering the coast with amnesia. Fi was taken to the man's home, learning his name was Cael. Cael kept him more as a companion than anything else. For the next 31 years, Fi remained with Cael, still unable to find his skin. One day, Cael was attacked by other Elves, capturing Fi and sent him off to the market, to be traded to another master, Fi being allowed to take some belongings. Unknowingly, he had his skin within his belongings, but never truly looked into the bag until he was on a boat, being shipped to a new land.
