This shrine stands as monument to the countless warriors of ages past. There stories and legends,though many forgotten, can be honored here. Tread these hallowed grounds with respect and humility, thugh they rest, their weary bodies, their souls are ever watchful. along side the long laid to rest warriors, is where we honor the past royals and nobles of the Kingdom. Though Their names reside on the wall, some are not deceased, some just have dropped away and returned,they no longer hold the position.

At the back of the shrine rest a white statue of a hooded maiden. Here offereings and small sacrifices of blood can be made to appease the souls of the warriors.
Rastillian lands softly outside the shrine and looks about the area. He walks forward and towards the shrine with slow steps. Rastillian lightly folds his wings and makes them disappear as he heads for the shrine. He lightly tilts his head as he has suffered two losses one that cuts deep into his heart. His child is lost to him and his love and now he has ended his own brothers life. Rastillian lightly growls and steps into the shrine he feels the cold air upon his skin and ignores it as he heads deeper into the shrine he can feel the spiriits of the warriors here as well as those lost to the kingdom here.
Rastillian shakes himself a little as he heads for the back of the shrine where he has heard tell of a statue to make offerings. As he nears the statue Rastillian stops and lightly bows his head to it before walking up to it and lightly pulling his dagger from his belt and cutting open his hand he let's some of his blood spill into the bowl before him. He lightly offers a prayer up for the spirit of his child as he bows his head and let's his hand heal. He pulls his cloak around him as he waits to see if his prayer has been heard or not.

Phoenix didnt know why she had came. But deep in her mind, she felt like she should atleast explain what had happened. Joshua would scold her if she didnt especially to a man she claimed to love and loved her in return. She felt numb and her persona of the ruthless and heartless demoness was beginning to show even more as of late. Too many things on her mind and not enough time to sort them out. Phoenix had never been the type to morn but right now she was dressed for the part. She was wearing a long black dress with sleeves down to her hands with a single loop around her ring fingers. The train flowed behind her along the stone of the ground as she came to the shrine. She wore a black laced veil over her head that flowed behind her slightly longer then the train of her dress. Her make up was simple and not as seductive as she normally make it but her beauty was just as alluring and goddess like perfection as always. Joshua would be shocked to see her dressed so simply but she wasnt in the mood for dressing up in her normal dresses that showed too much skin and too much bossom.
As she entered, she smelled the faint scent of blood and offerings for those fallen in the kingdom. She stopped for a moment before moving slightly even more inside. Her eyes adjusted to the dim light before she saw the back of him. It was Rastillian and he was waiting on her it seemed. Phoenix didnt say a word except for clearing her throat. Then she spoke and a few simply words as her silver eyes looked at him. "Ras, you wanted to see me." She looked at him and yet apart of her wanted for once in her life, to run to her father and cry.
Rastillian turns at the sound of a throat being cleared and then listens to his love speak to him. He sees the black dress and the veil as well and he lightly tilts his head to the side as he watches his love Phoenix come into the shrine.
His heart beats a little faster at seeing her and he moves to be closer to her and lightly reaches out and opens his arms for her to come to him. "Yes i did wish to speak with you my love. I am sorry i was not there for you when you needed me the most but i am here now and shall not leave you again."
Rastillian then lowers his head a little and looks into his loves silver eyes and shakes his head a little and moves in and wraps his arms around her and hugs her tight to his body.
"I came here and offered up a prayer for our childs spirit to find peace and rest." He then softly sighs as he feels the loss and he also feels anger at himself for not being there for his love. As he then listens to the spirits around them and waits to see if there is a childs spirit among them.
Phoenix watched as Rastillian finally noticed her. She had only spoke a few simple words and watched as he finally turned her her. As he walked and opened his arms, she didnt flinch nor did she go to them. She was as gold a blizzard snow and yet hot as a hells rage. She simply looked at him from her half hidden face as he spoke to her before he finally dropped her arms and moved to take her in them. She simply stood there in them as he continued to speak about their unborn child. His hold was tight on her slender and lucious frame. She shook her head against him and spoke soft words to him.
"Our child wasnt alive enough to know pain or pleasure. To know happiness or sadness. War or peace. The elders that are higher then the royal elders of hell came. It wasnt meant for me to bare children according to them. If we try again, they will take it again. I am not good enough to be your mate nor your love."
She moved from his embrace to walk around and towards the statues where he gave up his prayer for their unborn child. She didnt follow these gods and wouldnt offer up a prayer. She was releasing him from her if he chose to. She would deal with the heart break later but for now her heartless persona mask covered her face as she looked away from him. She didnt know what else to say to him.
Rastillian feels Phoenix step from his arms and she tells him of what happened to there child. He growls softly in his throat from hearing the news of the elders taking there child. He then turns to Phoenix as she informs him that he can leave her if he so wished. Rastillian shakes his head slightly and looks to Phoenix as he gets his emotions under control. "I will not leave you for i know that we are meant to be together. As for the elders they can be damned we shall live our lives as we see fit. I will go and fight the elders if i have to."
Rastillian then shakes himself a bit and moves to Phoenix and turns her to look at him. "Know this love that this hard facade you put on for others does not fool me. You will not get rid of me for i am and have loved you since the first day i seen you."
He then moves closer and takes her back into his arms and holds her there. "You must mourn our child even if it had no chance at life."
Phoenix heard his words as he seemed to be cursing the elders. Phoenix couldnt help but shake her head as she spoke up to him in a slightly raged voice. "You cannot curse them and you should be ashamed to think you could take them alone. The armies of hell would smear your blood across the circles. You are stupid to think you could take them on. Then if by some chance they kept you alive, who do you think they would bring you to for punishment." She didnt say more and simply listened as she heard him step closer and turn her to look at him. Her face was hard and cold to him as he spoke of not leaving and loving her since he first saw her. Phoenix slowly shook her head before he pulled her into his arms. Phoenix would never break. She would never let her mask fall yet as he spoke the words of mourning their unborn child, Phoenix felt the tears come to her eyes and began to spill over. She dropped to her knees, bringing Rastillian to his knees with her. She wanted to be held and in this place, they were hidden from prying eyes. She placed her head on his shoulders and spoke between quiet sobs. "Rastillian, my love, I am sorry. I wanted to give you a strong son or loving daughter. I wanted to give you something to live and fight for. I am not those things and yet for some reason, the elders see my body as unfit to give that to you. I free you from me. Go find a lover that can give you those things. I will not hate you for it. I shall mourn our unborn child. I shall mourn you if you leave me here alone. But I know you shall want another at some point when I cant give you the life you want." Even as she spoke the words her heart was breaking but she had a feeling she was right. She wouldnt blame him. Maybe she was truly meant to be alone.
Rastillian falls to the floor with Phoenix and holds her tighter to himself as he feels her begin to cry and her sobs of loss. As he listens to her speak to him Raastillian shakes his head to her and softly whispers to her.
"Love i will never take another and as for children we can adopt if need be as there are children out there that need parents." He then pulls her closer and holds Phoenix tighter to him as he then softly kisses her cheek and lightly lets tears fall from his eyes. "I am sure i can speak with the elders at some point and work a deal with them for us to have a child. But i will wait for a time my love as they will at this point ask to high a price that neither of us will pay."
Rastillian then looks about the shrine and then lowers his head to Phoenix's shoulder and mourns there child. He knows that he has a bargaining chip with the elders and one he would use at the right time. But first he had to speak with his father about what the elders did. For his father was outside the rules of the elders of hell and could if need be take there lives in a brief second as the horseman Death. Rastillian had the same power but with souls and needed to find weaknesses of the elders. He then lets that drift to the back of his mind and looks to his love and keeps his arms wrapped around her as they settle to the floor of the shrine.
Phoenix heard Rastillian as he began to speak to her. He spoke of never leaving and of adopting children. She didnt want that. Granted she could adopt a child but she wanted to have some of her own some day. She shook her head softly to him and spoke. "No we wont. I would want my own. Maybe some day we can try again but not any time soon. I dont want to feel that pain of it being taken away." She moved more into his arms and cried even as she heard him speak about the elders. Phoenix grew slightly angry that he would be so stupid. She growled and pulled away from him. She moved from the floor and stood letting her anger show as she spoke to him. "You think to go against them. Thats like going against a royal of hell who are also apart of the elders. You think to dare go against them? Thats stupid Ras. Very Very stupid. Even Joshua would tell you that if he was standing here right now." Phoenix sighed as her anger subsided and the pain of loss take over again. She turned her back as her shoulders back to shake. She was trying to hold back to the pain. She was trying to slam her mask back in place and be strong. She was trying not to let her pain show. The tears that streamed down her cheeks did not help to hide her pain at all.
Rastillian looks at Phoenix as she stands up from him and get angry with him for wanting to fight the elders. He stands and moves to her and wraps his arms around her and hugs her tightly. " I am just wanting to make them understand that they had no right in doing what they did. I feel at a loss for not being there for you." Rastillian then looks at Phoenix and softly kisses her cheek as she cries.
" I know it would be foolish to take on the elders of hell love. I shall wait and let my anger and pain not rule my actions." He then takes and wipes away the tears from his loves face and looks into her eyes. "We shall have our own family someday."
Rastillian then takes and leads his love over to a bench for them to sit and hold each other in there loss and pain.
Phoenix simply nods at Rastillian's words. She was happy that he had agreed not to go after the others but she was also sad. She hadnt truly mourned her pain. She had spoken to Joshua about it first because she couldnt find Ras but she had also needed his advice and comfort. He had been the only one who had seen her cry until now. She felt Rastillian embracing her and leading her over to the bench. She didnt want to sit just yet. She wanted to scream to the heavens and curse those responsible but that would have to wait. Phoenix seemed to curl as she moved to sit on Rastillian's lap. She wanted to lay her head on his shoulder and let the tears flow. She wrapped her arms around his neck and cuddled next to his body as she spoke in silence. "We can try again later. I dont want to right now. Its too much pain and I have things I must do. Lucifer has me running an errand. We are hunting a rapist in the kingdom. But I want to go some where dark and lit by fire light to sleep and relax." She closed her eyes as she thought about it but it would have to wait until they had found the man. She had duties to see to first.
Rastillian listens to Phoenix as she speaks with him and he lightly nods his head. "We shall go to the pits of hell to sleep by the fires after your errand is done my love. There I will hold you forever in my arms."
As he then holds her tighter to him and looks at her as he hears of the rapest moving about the kingdom. "I will help look for this person if you need the help love." As Rastillian lightly kisses his loves cheek and holds her tighter to him.
Phoenix simply nodded as the tears began to fall. She didnt know if Rastillian had ever been to her circle in hell. She nodded softly before she looked up at him. "We can go into my circle if you want. I am not sure if you have ever seen the capital at Dis." She looked at him with soft eyes before they cast down at his chest. She let her fingers run over it as he spoke about helping her with the search. She shook her head softly in response and spoke simply though she never raised her gaze to him. "No... The demon protectors are taking care of it. Lucifer as well as I and Joshua will see that justice is done." She shook her head softly and wiped the last of her tears from her eyes. "I must go now. The quicker I get this done. The quicker I can relax and heal from this pain." She looked at him with a soft expression before she leaned up and kissed him. The kiss was short and sweet before the flames covered her body and she disappeared to go search more for this kingdoms dark rapist.
Rastillian lightly kisses Phoenix back and listens to her speak of the demons not needing help. He lightly nods his head and then watches as she leaves his lap and disappears in flames. Rastillian then softly moves from the bench and wipes away his tears and sighs softly as he heads for the exit of the shrine.his eyes lightly watching the area before him as he steps out from the shrine and he lightly walks away from the shrine. Rastillian thinks and knows that he will visit the circle of hell that his love rules. He then let's his wings come forth from his back and takes flight and heads off into the kingdom in search of food.
