An aray of floral scents filter on the air,A wonderful place to come and meditate. The ongs of birds spiral on the air, lulling ones soul. One of the most vast gardens in the world, and it is here in our very own kingdom.
Walking through the garden Kei noticed two woman at the other end seeming to be in conversation so he tried to keep a respectful distance. He felt at peice in his surroundings, as he felt the nature calling to him he laid down in the grass. Under his dark cloak it made his features hard to be seen, all but his startling emerald eyes which shone brightly through the night.
Candice was venturing, like she did most nights. She disliked being kept in one place for a long amount of time. So, she decided that tonight would be a lovely night for walking around, figuring out where she was exactly. The air smelled of rain, and she knew it would start to sprinkle soon enough. Looking around she realized she was not alone, so she kept her distance. Her kind weren't all that welcome, especially if one was hungry. The sound of women talking told her to turn and find a dark secluded place. Her bare feet made no noise against the slightly paved ground, and her slacks weren't going to threaten her silence either.
Zillah had just become a vampire again, and it had been not too long ago that she had just fed, keeping herself to not be a danger to anyone around her. She wished to have a great peace once more, but it was an unsettling one. Having known of there being someone that was going around and taking advantage of those that were of a weaker state, Zillah now wanted to move about the kingdom and take charge to find those that were weaker than she and to protect them, as she had done many times. She would not do it for the light, nor would she do it for the dark either, for both had been ones that had cost her a great deal of pain. The gods had made her human until recently, and Lucifer had cost her love. She could possibly thank him for opening her eyes, but at the same time, she would never actually say that to him, and so only kept it to herself. She walked into the garden that was within the kingdom, and looked about at all of the flowers that had grown within the area, finding that there were many there that had exotic scents as well as sights. Before touching the ground, Zillah would not disturb the ground, and removed the shoes that she had upon her, leaving her bare footed, igniting the shoes and socks that she had before making the remnants of the items disappear by the wind, lowering herself to the ground as she felt the lush grass under her tickle at her feet. It reminded her of the long times past of when she would play with her little brother, and pick flowers for him. A smile crept across her face, and she moved into the garden, wishing to not disturb anyone, and started to pick flowers of different shades, having a small bouquet by the time that she had been done.
It had taken a very long time for Hana to reach this kingdom, every night she would cry herself to sleep and every day she would keep to her corner of the tiny cabin with a ripped piece of pillow case covering her mouth to keep her from catching the plague or any other illness that people were catching and dying from on the ship that was over crowded. Seeing suicides, deaths and murders on the ship over the few weeks she was on it, she couldn't wait to get off. The tiny six year old along with other people were ushered from the ship which did not stay long for what ever reason. "Little one, you go this way.." An elderly woman said to her in English, Hana cocked her head to one side and blinked a few times. "Sono hōhō wa, jinsoku iku" [Go that way, quick!] Another female grabbed the child and ushered her into the woods, she watched as three men came out off no where, they attacked some of the people, at the neck and left them lay lifeless..So she was brought here to be fed on by these strange people eating beings. Hana turned and ran with what little energy she had left until she was out of the forest and in a more brighter area.
She was in the Kingdom now but she didn't know where to go, should she have stayed with those people and gotten killed or did she do the right thing and leave them there, there wasn't much a little six year old like herself could do any way. Her tummy ached and felt like it was twisting inside of her from the hunger, she was pale like a ghost and she had little gray circles under her eyes. A light breeze blew and caused her long brown strands of wavy hair to blow around and stick to her now moist face. She had been crying when she was running for her life, praying that the people eating creatures wouldn't find her. She wiped her face with both hands and tried her hardest to keep her hair from her face. Flashes of all those horrible images kept coming into her head and she tried everything in her power to try distract herself, she saw a little white gate in front of her and she ran to it, she peered through and saw the garden of beautiful flowers, butterflies and birds, what a change to being in a confined dull space. She stood up on the gate and gave it a little push so it swung open gently with her holding on tight and she giggled cutely as she jumped down and started to run through the grass that tickled her ankles. Her little white ballet type shoes that were stained in dirt and other peoples blood made her move through the garden silently. Her little pink dress blew around her as she followed a butterfly and tried to catch it but something else caught her eye, something orange on a leaf. "Kemushi" [Caterpillar] She said and sat on her bottom rather fast and stared at it moving its whole body to just move in the slightest, she picked the leaf from it's steam and tried to take the little creature from it's leaf so it could go on her hand.
While playing with the little caterpillar and talking to herself in Japanese she didn't realize that there was a female walking around the garden picking flowers, she rocked from side to side and spoke to her little friend telling her what happened on the trip and with her parents, but still in Japanese, she knew a little English, she just didn't really like speaking it.
Zillah had organized the flowers to be in a form of array, finding that there was no real way to make it so that there would be a full form to them, and realized that she had in fact picked too many to be a formal bouquet in which to set to be within a vase. Setting a few to be on the ground, she had heard the soft sounds of words from not that far ahead of her. Lifting her face, she took on the sight of a little girl in front of her. She had not seen the child within the kingdom at all, and it was quite a surprise to see one so young there. She had the scent of a human upon her, and seeing her in the state that she was, she felt that she had not been taken care of at all. Zillah had felt a small connection with the girl in an instant, and though she knew that feeling well, she didn't wish to have that connection in the same way that she had with the others of the kingdom, for this was truly just a child, a human child, and one that had no knowledge of how anything had been within this kingdom, by the looks of how her clothing and way had been about her.
Kneeling, but not coming closer to her, Zillah gazed at the child, trying to see of if she could tell of the origin of the child, so that she might try to find out of the language that she spoke, and in maybe that way she might be able to try to communicate with her as well. Listening with intent at what the child was saying, she had tried to figure out the language that she was speaking, and through the small words that she was hearing that she knew, she had figured out the language. It was in Japanese. She was not that versed in the language, and she knew that though she was able to find a dragon to translate it for her, she would not be able to speak it in return, making it harder to speak to the young one. She hoped to try her best though with what she had, and said in a light voice to the child, "Excuse me young one, but might you need help?" She was unsure of if she understood her or not, and in order to not scare her, only had summoned a dragon, one that would appear from a distance, a small japanese dragon that came to them to rest between them to be as a translator for Zillah.
Hana dropped the leaf when she heard a females voice and she looked around on the ground, she knelt quickly but there were a few leaves in the grass that looked the same and she turned over a few but couldn't find the caterpillar. She pouted a little before looking up to the girl with her big honey colored eyes and she showed her cutest smile and blinked a few times again as she spotted something on the females dress. "Tentōchū!" [ladybug] She said softly and crawled over gently and took the little red and black dot of a bug from the females dress and watched it crawl around her tiny nimble fingers before it flew off. Realizing now that the female had spoken to her earlier in English she thought for a moment for any words that her grandmother may have thought her, she did a few years of English with the elderly woman but she disliked the language and didn't really want to learn it back then. "Help..mhhm" She nodded and stood up and stuck out both her hands and got ready as if she was putting on a play. "Mama and papa..put eh..me, on.." She moved her hand like in a wave in indicate a boat, well she hoped the female understood her. "I eh got here..now.." She started to get frustrated trying to string at least one sentence together. "More people.." She pointed back the way she entered and then she looked down to the ground. "Men came and..snap!" She made a growling noise and chomped her teeth as she pointed to her neck and pretended to fall down in a heap and played dead. "These men eatted people by here.." She said and sighed a little hoping the female got any part of that story. "Banpaia" [vampire] She whispered as she had heard horrid stories about them from her grandmother when she was little as a bedtime story so she would never sneak out at night like she was caught doing before.
Watching the child, worried of startling her, she had immediately wished to apologize, but it was only then that the dragon had shook her head, and Zillah watched as the girl grabbed a ladybug from her dress. She smiled a little as she had seen the sight, and only watched, finding a form of peace in watching it, and finding it actually a little adorable in seeing it. The dragon had said to Zillah the word that the girl had said had meant ladybug, and Zillah repeated it aloud, trying to keep it within her mind so that she would have knowledge of it. Hearing of her saying the word help, then of a few other words, the dragon watched to see of if the child would say anything else in Japanese, Zillah also waiting, listening to what she had said in english so that she could possibly help her in order to aid her in what she might be looking for. The dragon looked at Zillah as the girl had said the word in japanese, and gave her the translation. When Zillah had said it aloud, she knew then the story. She was a part of the ship that had brought people from around the rest of the world to come for slaughter. Her parents might have not known of what they had done, and were trying to give her a better life, but that this had become the result. Zillah looked to the dragon, and asked it a favor of her, to give her the ability to speak as if she was speaking in the girl's native tongue.
Naturally, the dragon looked at Zillah as if it was impossible, and told her that it would translate it for her. Zillah gave the dragon what she wanted to say to the girl, and the dragon nodded before then standing up, only being as tall as half of the girl's height, and spoke in japanese to the girl, saying to her, "Brave one, my master unfortunately knows no japanese, and so has asked me to translate for her. She asks, if you would allow her, to take care of you until she might be able to find your honored mother and honored father. In taking care of you, she hopes to learn how to also speak japanese so that you will not have to learn to speak english should you not want to. I will stay as a friend no matter of if you wish to take her offer or not." The dragon then bowed in respect to the little girl, and Zillah hoped that through the dragon, that her words were heard, even if she had no idea of what the dragon had said to the little girl.
Hana had realized only now that there was a strange looking creature near the female and she stared at it wide eyed as the woman and the creature nodded and spoke to one another. Her mouth was open in awe as she wondered how this being could speak. When it came towards her the tiny asian girl scrambled to her feet and took a few baby steps back just so she would feel a little safer, whether it meant any harm or not. Listening to it speak her native language she nibbled on her bottom lip and looked back over to the gate she had come in and at the forest she had just ran through before holding back some tears and looking to the dragon. It looked like some on the paintings and statues that were up around her grandparents house so she knew it was okay to be near it but still she was weary. Watashi ga koko ni sundeshitakunai, hitobito ga watashi no menomaede korosa rete iru, watashi wa korosa retakunai.. [I don't want to live here, people have been killed in front of me, I don't want to be killed..] She whispered to the dragon and was unsure of what to do, she did need help, this female seemed to live here a long time so maybe she really could protect her..Maybe she knew the in's and out's of this kingdom. "Watashi wa tabemono o motsu koto ga dekimasu?" [Can I get some food?] She asked and color continued to drain from her face, she knew that food was scarce in almost any country or kingdom, well it sure was in Korea and Japan, but she hoped that even some water and some bread could be given too her. She sat on her bottom again quickly, when she was standing it was making her dizzy. "I have to learn English.." She said and sighed in annoyance. "Everybodies here speaks's it.." she admitted and looked to the female and then scooted a little closer to the dragon she went to raise her hand but wasn't brave enough yet and scooted back the way again.
It had seemed apparent that the girl was very frightened, and Zillah had moved a little back, unsure of if it was because of her or of if it was because of the dragon. The dragon kept itself low to the ground, not wishing to give the girl more fear, and spoke to the child, telling her, "There is a place where you will be able to find food and water, but it is not a place where a little girl would be able to go, for it is filled with those that are not of any kind sort. So long as you will be with master, she will not let any harm come to you, and will make sure to treat any wounds that you have. She can magically make scratches go away, though it takes a little bit of energy from her to do so. Buddha had used energy in order to heal people of ailments himself, and so to is my master able to, but master is not as wise and great as Buddha is, I think. I shall go forth and get you the necessary resources so that you might be able to be better." The dragon moved away from the child, backing up until it was near to Zillah, and spoke to her, only saying that it would return, and lifted into the air, moving as fast as it could in order to get some food for the young child.
Zillah was not sure of what they had both spoke of, and worried more as each passing moment happened, for the child's face seemed to become more paled. She wanted to reach out to the little one, wanted to help her, but through the lack of knowing the language, she was unable to help her, and unable to tell her that she could other than through her friend, who had now departed to do something that she was unsure of what. The only thing that she could think of that would make the child be paling so much so fast was of that she had not eaten, and then it had dawned on her. Of course the child had not eaten. She had been on a boat coming to this kingdom, meant to be as a human to be killed, and luckily run away from it. Zillah had felt herself a bit of a fool that she had not realized earlier that the child would be hungry, and thirsty since the water that they crossed was not water that could be readily drank as well. Moving to a small fountain that helped in watering the enlarged garden, Zillah took out a small leather water pouch bladder and filled it, trying to not make it heavy so that it would not make it hard for the child to hold. She held no illusions on the little one wanting her to be near her, and as she would wait for the dragon to return with what she assumed would be food for her, she would at least help in giving her water. She moved back to sitting where she was, and moved the pouch bladder to be in front of her, hoping to at least attempt to help. She couldn't think of any way to say it easily enough, and so only said to the girl, "Here is some water, should you be thirsty. It is safe to drink. I will not harm you, I promise." She did not move, only hoping that the girl would take the water before she would faint, not wishing her to do so.
Hana wanted to touch the speaking creature, usually she was brave but this new world with all these new being was so much for the little one to take in, all the tragic stuff she saw made her weary of everything and down hearted. When she heard the dragon speak of a place to get food she wanted to go there straight away but hearing that she couldn't made her pout a little. She loved exploring but with the dangers around the kingdom she couldn't risk it. She watched as it took flight and she knelt a little watching it until she couldn't see it anymore. She looked back to the female realizing that she neither of them had introduced themselves. She watched the female fill a water pouch up and when it was offered to her the child licked her dry lips and crawled over to the woman and sat right in front of her cross legged and picked up the pouch with both hands. She nodded a little in understanding to what the female had said about it being safe and started to gulp down the water, not caring if it was spilling down her chin and down the front of her little dress. She gasped for air when she took the cap away from her mouth and looked to the girl before drinking the last few mouthfuls off and wiping her chin dry. Her tummy growled but it sounded loud and sore rather then anything else, it was eating itself from hunger and it had started to shrink over the last week of her journey here. She looked sleepily towards the female, it had been so long since she had a proper rest, in a bed or even on something comfortable rather then a damp, blood stained cabin floor. "I'm Hanako..Hana.." She pointed to herself and placed the water pouch bladder into the females lap and scooted closer to her again, it had been so long since she had been near a mother type figure, or just a caring female for that matter, everyone looked out for themselves or their own on the boat, hana had to take care of herself. "I'm tired.." She whispered in her Japanese accent as she wiped both her eyes and again tried to fight back tears from all the images that kept appearing in her mind. She kept looking up at the skies wondering when the dragon would be back and what would he have for her to eat, either way she would be grateful, even if she disliked the food she would eat it just so her tummy would stop aching.
Kei raise his hand as he did, he dropped a seed from his hand. As his eyes grew intently the seed merged in the ground and at keis will grew into a beutiful lilly three times the size of a normal flower. Almost the size of a small tree, he smiled as he looked at the lilly, keis green eyes could be seen from far away even as he lay in the long grass.
Zillah watched the little one as she had drank the water so much, and worried that she would choke on the water, saying quickly, "Please be careful so that you do not choke on the water." Hearing her gasp for air had made her lift herself a moment in worry, but then when it had been seen that the child was alright, Zillah had breathed a sigh in relief. She had not worried over someone like this in a long time, and once she had seen that it was empty, she moved the pouch to be filled again with water in case she would be still thirsty. "My name is Zillah. It is a pleasure to meet you, Hana. If you are tired, then you are free to rest here on my lap and with these soft flowers. Your journey must have been horrible." Zillah then felt that she was indeed overstepping some form of boundary at that moment, but this little one had seemed to be so helpless, and she couldn't help but wish to help her, and do all that she could to help her be comfortable, and to make sure that she would at the very least become comfortable. The dragon had returned with food for the child, having cooked fish, as well as fresh bread, cheese, and a little bit of meat as well inside of a satchel, and landed nearby, not wishing to be a disturbance just in case of if there was something that was happening at that moment. Zillah lifted her head a moment from watching Hanako, and only whispered to the dragon, "It's alright. Please come closer, for I would wish you to give her what you have brought for her Haku so that she would have it before she rested." She looked to Hanako once more, then smiled, and said, "The dragon has brought food for you if you wish to eat now, or it will be waiting for you for when you wake back up if you wish to rest." Zillah smiled. She had noticed that there had been someone else within the garden, her senses easily sensing the person well before her sight ever would, but so long as the person would know better than to come near to one that had a dragon at their disposal with ill intent in their mind, she would not think to disturb anyone, for this was a place of peace, and she wished greatly for this place to stay as it was meant to be.
Hana nodded slightly as she got the jist of what the female was saying, the child immediately without hesitation got up and climbed into the females lap and had the freshly picked flowers in her hand and touched them gently with her little fingers tips before bringing them to her nose and inhaling gently before giggling as it tickled her. Thankfully she was easily distracted but within no time those thoughts were back again. She nodded slightly. "Horrible.." She said cutely in her Japanese accent, she snuggled into the female for some sort of comfort, it had been so long that she was in contact with a person that she wanted to be in contact with, instead of being squished on a floor of a ship. When the dragon came back Hana's eyes lit up and she inhaled again as she could smell some sort of food from the satchel that he had. She stood up and walked over to the dragon to show that she wasn't frightened any more. She placed her tiny hand on the side of the dragons face and giggled a little when she felt the texture of his skin. "Thank you" She said sweetly and bowed her head before petting the dragon gently, unsure if he was comfortable with her doing so or not she stopped and walked back over to Zillah, her stomach grumbled yet again and she winced ever so slightly before wiping the hair from her hair again with a sigh of annoyance. "Banpaia..why they hurt peoples?" She said and licked her lips, she wanted to rest but food was her main priority at that moment, it was hard to sleep on an empty stomach. "Can you show me peoples later? nice peoples?" She asked Zillah looking up to her with big eyes, she wanted to meet her friends and get used to this new place that she would have to call home.
A soft giggle escaped from Zillah as she heard Hanako giggle, but watched her as she had moved over to the dragon before then moving to speak once more to her. Hearing her ask of why vampires had to hurt people had made her think of a question a long time ago, of another voice asking her something similar. Her younger brother, Temari, had asked her of why people had to hurt others, and why couldn't there be peace in the world. It had been something that was hard for Zillah to answer him, because he was innocent, and in the end, she couldn't entirely answer him other than to tell him that it was just in their nature. Hanako was even more innocent, and she felt that she couldn't even tell her that, especially when it spoke of those that included her own self now. The second question that she had asked was a bit more easier, and she smiled lightly as she said to her, "When you have eaten and rested to your heart's content here, then of course I will show you to nice people, and show you to where you can safely call home until you want to find the place that you want leave it on your own. You will never be a prisoner, though I hope that you be very careful." Watching her, and being in this garden, Zillah slowly started wanting to once more have a garden, something that she had not desired for a great many years. Once she had a lush garden, one that had many exotic flowers, and her most cherished one of all... the black rose. Now she only had one bushel of those roses, and she had kept it tended very well, but she worried also, for it was starting to show signs that it was slowly dying off, and soon it would perish if not given a proper place. Perhaps if this young one enjoyed the garden here so well, she might wish to have a garden within the temple, and would not mind a few odd colored roses. She would only wait first on her recovery before asking of her likes and dislikes.
Hana couldn't wait to meet new people now and she started to like the idea of speaking English even if it was broken and barely understandable. She took some food that the kind dragon had gotten for her and started to rip at the bread and shove chunks of it into her mouth until her cheeks were filled and almost at popping point. After a few chews she took the water pouch and gulped it down to help the dry bread get down her neck easier and began on the cheese and fish. Once she had her fill she finished off the water in the pouch. "Yay!" She exclaimed, she couldn't wait but she had a feeling that her shyness would come out if she met more people. She sat back a little and looked around at the garden and spotted something moving behind a bush. Her eyes honned in on it and she raised a brow wondering what on earth it could be. She knelt up a little and blinked a few times until a cute gray bunny bounced out and started to nibble at the leaves and then lick its front paws and started cleaning it's ears. "Banī" She squealed with delight and scrambled to her feet but as soon as she had gotten up and started to run towards it the bunny started to bounce away with speed, Hana was almost heartbroken and thought that she had done something wrong to scare it off. "Modotte kuru" [come back] She said softly as she kept running after it but it seemed to disappear into a hole behind a scrub and she nibbled on her bottom lip as she turned back to look to Zillah. "I don't think it like me.." She admitted and pouted a little as she stropped back over and sat in front of the female and looked to the dragon again. "I'm not tireds no more Zillah" She admitted, the food had given her energy and the little run around after the bunny did too.
OOC: usagi was bunny I thought. o.O! *avid sailor moon fan*
Not able to help herself, Zillah relaxed completely, leaving herself to lounge as she looked around the garden, trying not to be rude as Hanako ate her meal that was given in front of her. It wouldn't be something too much to ask, she thought, and knew that she wouldn't want someone to sit there and watch her eat. She knew that if someone watched her eat, she would attempt to try to offer them to have something to eat with her, had she been human. The thought had been jolted to a stop when she heard a squeal, and looked on as Hana started to move towards a now running rabbit. Seeing her face had made Zillah want to cry herself, but she forced the emotion back, and moved herself closer to the little one, enveloping Hanako within a warm embrace. "It's alright, little Hanako. It had become frightened when you had spoken loudly, and it thought that you meant harm. If I would have been loud, or tried running near you, I would imagine I would have scared you away just as easily. So in a way, you are just like the little bunny." She smiled, hoping that she understood, and hoped also that Hanako would feel better as well. "Since you are no longer tired, we can go where you wish to go, or we can try to find the bunny and hope that it will come back." Zillah lifted Hanako away just enough to be able to see her once more, and waited to see of what she would want to do, also speaking to the dragon within his mind to please fill the water pouch once more. She wondered of if one day her ability to summon the dragons and of they doing as she had asked would be her death, but for now, she was glad that she had gained friends such as them. She also swore that she would do everything in her power to protect them, and hoped one day to prove to them that she could do just that.
OOC: Yeh it is but it gave me a few options on google translate and thought Bani sounded cuter since she's a child
Hana listened to Zillah with great concentration and actually started to understand everything she was saying. She was happy that the language barrier was getting less and less difficult. When Zillah had opened her arms Hana immediately fell into them and hugged her back tightly, it was nice to do this, she had never really gotten a hug from her parents because her blood was so over powering due to her curse that they would rarely go near her, her grandmother on the other hand that had eaten animals for basically all her life didn't find her blood in the slightest bit attractive and so basically mothered the child. "I miss nana.." She said softly, knowing that her grandmother would search until the end of time to find the child again unless her parents kill the elderly vampire. She tried to shake the thoughts from her head as she nuzzled the female and looked up to her with her big honey eyes and giggled. "You smell nice" She admitted and ran her little hands through Zillah's hair, thankfully, for once, they weren't sticky. Bani gone..We go meet new people? She said excitedly and hoped that Zillah would take her to meet anyone. "so..vampire..dragon" She said with some difficulty "What else is here?" She cocked her head cutely to one side and waited to see what the female had to say.
OOC: fair enough. but then again, anything that is said out of her mouth is adorable! ^^
Zillah lightly giggled as she had heard of her smelling nice, and she was a little glad that she hadn't smelled of anything but the flowers that were around her. She would have hated to smell like a rotting corpse, or of anything like some of what vampires that hadn't cared had smelled like. Once or twice she had to move away from vampires because of the smell of death being so high upon them that they had turned her stomach, and she wished to not be near it. "Well, there are demons here, and though there are many many bad ones, there are a very rare good demons as well. Ones that won't kill people just for the fun, but will do so when threatened. I have seen angels, as well, but like demons, they are also not all good. There are some that are bad. We shall meet some good people, of course, and I think that I might know of a good place in which I could start to find great nice people, as well. But first, are you afraid of heights at all, Hana?" She wondered of if she had ever been anywhere high at all. She knew that she had been on a boat, just by their first conversation, and she naturally had been moved around a lot, but being in the air was something else entirely, and if she had never been high up, Zillah would want to first help her be comfortable with being in the air before she would move her anywhere at all. She also worried of trying to ask the girl of putting so much trust in her so soon after meeting her, for trust was a very fragile thing, and once broken, was often impossible to ever gain ever again.
Hana listened to Zillah giggle back to her and wondered what was going on in the females mind, was this woman just being kind because she felt sorry for the child or was she genuinely kind. Hana was a little paranoid for a six year old. When she spoke of demons her eyes widened again a little "Akuma" she said softly, which meant evil spirit or even the devil more then demon but it meant the same thing, in her head they seemed all evil and how Zillah spoke of them made her a little worried, the child was very easily led astray, Zillah could have been a demon herself and Hana wouldn't have known, she thought that Zillah was a human. She stared out into the sky without blinked, deep in thought of what could happen if she met a demon, she didn't even know what a demon looked like. When she could hear the female talk again she shook her head a little so she could get back to concentrating on what the female was talking about. Hearing that she was going to be taken to meet new people she got all excited and heard about heights. "Kōdo.." [height] She said softly and raised a brow as she looked up at the birds flying around in the skies and nibbled on her bottom lip. "I've never been up high.." She admitted, she had only ever been on a ship for the first time the last few weeks and plains weren't invented yet so the thoughts of being up high were a little uneasy for the girl but she always wanted to know what it was like to be up in the skies. "Why do you ask?" She said cutely with her head cocked to the side and wondered how high up she would be going.
Noticing a very interesting presence kei got up and walked a ways to where he saw a young girl and an older woman. He stepped on a branch to make his presence known. He noticed what would seem to be a dragon looking at the dragon he said "Well thats a beuty". Smiling at the sight of a creature whose company he missed, he respectfuly bowed deeply towards the two ladys and was about to turn around to leave, as he did he grabbed the two haves of the broken stick he stepped on while sticking them together the branch was able to reattach itself with keis power. Holding up the branch to a tree he said "Sorry" and as he did the tree seemed to move forward and reclaim the once broken stick as one of its branchs then resumed to be a silent and still as normaly. keis light markings throught his face began glowing a light green as this happened, barely visible under his cloak.
The sun showered down on Mishelay. It glistened on her hair and made her skin shimmer. This place was beautiful. Mishelay stopped on the path and inhaled deeply. Flowers were beautiful. She lived as a beggar he whole life and only ever seen three. This place was beginning to become her wonderland. She picked a tulip from nearby and placed in her messy bun. Her chiffon dress fell off her loosely. It's sping green color matched pervy lay with the scene of never ending flowers.
Mishelay to this day still reminisced about the ball. The man she had danced with left so suddenly. It was still a mystery to her. She didn't dwell to much on it. There was so much more to see and many more people to cross her path. A patch of red flowers caught her eye. She glided towards them. Hurriedly she began to pick the flowers. She would make a crown of them. Maybe a bracelet and a anklet to. A dazzling smile stayed plastered on her pristine face. She couldn't have been more content in that moment. The world around her faded. Several moments later she was finished with the crown she placed it on her own head,
"I dub thee Princess Laya,"
She used the nickname she was called as a young orphan. Her sweet voice whispered and disappeared on the wind. She wondered who fate would put in her path today.
Walking away still his marks glowing kei stumbled into a small clearing he noticed another woman making a crown out of some roses on the ground. Walking towards her his green marks glowing the same color as his emerald eyes, he reatched out his hand. As he did the roses from the area the woman picked from grew back more radiant then ever. Putting his hand down he began to turn around to possibly go find water or a nice grassy spot to lay down in and recuperate, after all he was getting hungry. kei walking away stopped and layed down a seed that was in his hand, the seed disappeared in the ground only to have multiple roses grow where it was layed.
Zillah bit her lip a little bit, and wasn't entirely sure of how it was that she was going to answer this answer to Hana, but she would just answer her truthfully, because she didn't want her to become tired out or become worried either. "Well, I don't want you to become tired, because the temple that we will be going to is in the mountains. We are in the outskirts of the kingdom, but we are at the flatlands, the plains. The mountains, where more dragons roam, are on almost the other side of the kingdom." Zillah looked suddenly as she had seen someone move, and it had been the same person as before that she had spotted with green eyes. Watching him the moment he had made himself known, she slightly nodded her head, noticing the aura to be under the influence of another, one claimed to Rose. She would seek him out and thank him later for healing the plant that had a broken branch, but for now, she had a need to help Hana in meeting more that were of her court, and those in which could be trusted. Zillah lifted Hanako as she stood up, and looked a moment before then pointing to the farther distance, where faded mountains where. "There, far over on that horizon, there's the mountains. I had asked of if you were afraid of heights because of wishing to take you up to be like a bird in the sky, with of course the help of Haku here. I know though that no matter what, I will promise you that nothing will cause you pain if I can help it." She looked at Hana, and wondered of if the young one would want to try to fly with the dragon, or if she would rather wish to try to make the journey with Zillah instead on the ground.
A male entered the garden , long red hair covered the top half of his pale face . His right cheek was covered by a square bandage . He was dressed in a brown blood stanided , tattered top to a mimoto and a white dirt covered bottom half to the same kimono . His eyes held rather large bags under them as he walked , each step silent . He left hip held a katana that looked rather aged , the hilts bandaging tearing and the cap looked a bit rusted . He carried himself in a almost defeated manner as he walked his feet barley leaving the ground with each step . He let out a soft sigh as he scared calloused hands hung at his sides until he decided to take in the sents of the area more .
He leaned down when he saw a rose , taking in its sent smiling softly , it was great out and this was something he needed a day to unwind and get away from it all . A smile crept into his worn face for a moment it was a calming place .
Walking away from the rose he just helped to grow, Kei felt his legs give out..... "Crap" he whispered under his breath, well at least that woman wasn't frightened by his presence he thought. Trying to get back up Kei could not, without even noticeing a male presence very close to him, kei chose to just stay where he had fallen. Not being able to move he looked up at the sky and felt the gardens life around him, Thinking of his prediciment, he began to laugh loudly at himself as he did the grass grew longer and the trees fuller. His laugh stopping Kei continued to gaze upward wondering how he would get out of this one.
Eric had heard the sound of a person falling , eyes quickly scanning the area untill he saw a man laying still . He sighed as he placed one hand on his swords hilt just in case untill he heard laughter escape the males lips . He shook his head slightly before walking over to the still male . His move Kent's were slow and almost carried a defeated look to them , he was a wreak psychically but was still mentally sharp . " my friend are you ok ?" He asked kindly his light brown eyes looking down at the male with a look of defeat , sorrow and a hint of weakness , a strong warrior at one time now reduced to a scare covered wondering swordsman wondering when the next meal or when his time to die would be next . He held his hand out to the man thinking that he would take it
Looking up at this stranger who came into his veiw, "How polite, id take your hand but it seems as if I can't move...." Staring at the stranger with his emerald eyes kei thought this man looked like he needed a pick me up more then himself. Thinking, kei wasn't one to turn away a favor so he asked "There is a puddle of water by that bush over there, would you mind bringing some water over and dumping it on me....it's a bit weird of a request so I understand if you must refuse but uh it help." Staring tensly at the man, keis eyes lingered a second on the sword....powerful he thought as he waited for the strangers response.
