The Ones Who Have Nothing To Lose.
Joshua smiled glad that Zane was willing to think about it and accept Rose as his mother and possibly bring in his sister to the family. Joshua patted his shoulder grinning. Take your time son, after all we have all the time in the world. He chuckled softly as he looked down at Rose then at Zane. You can get going I think we need a bit of time to adjust to being married. At least I do. He smirked knowing he simply wanted to take Rose somewhere special, besides this wasn't exactly the last celebration they had. Not to mention it wasn't always easy to have Rose all to himself. Take care and do us a favor, visit us once in a while. He grinned as he Rose changed her dress, she went upstairs and his eyes followed her as she disappeared, he shook his head finding that she didn't need to change but to simply wear the same dress. Woman. He murmured as finally Rose came down and greeted them once more. Taking her in his arms he smiled kissing her cheek. Let's go then, I think we need a romantic dinner to celebrate. He chuckled as he looked at Zane and waved as he engulfed himself and his wife with fire as they disappeared.
My Enemies Have Deemed Me Fearless.
'Tis No Compliment.
As the blue sky began to darken to grey, and the temperature dropped, Amira placed her first steps upon the Cathedral grounds and as she moved across it, the only sounds to be heard were the soft whispers of silk that her hanfu made with every minuscule movement, the chitter-chatter of birds and the small bell-like sounds her hair-adornments caused. Travelling, almost soundlessly through out the corridors of the gorgeous building, eyes wide with wonder and curiosity - fingertips dragged along the walls in silent worship of the amazing architecture, wide silky sleeves bellowing out beneath her arm, at times brushing against the cool wall. When Amira reached a high arch, where the corridor became hall, she stopped dead in her tracks - soft, pink lips parted in astonishment, eyes widened in wonder and slowly, that shocked expression turned eager and practically skipped through the room - humming happy tunes in joy. "Old buildings are the best!" Amira giggled as she continued her tour of the Cathedral.
A few hours passed with the young pure-blood exploring the gorgeous building, nooks and niches were found and noted, and great viewpoints were enjoyed - the serene places had more than once, had her so fascinated, that Amira could barely bear to leave them. And the best was, that there were none to disturb her little adventure. The sky had been growing darker and darker throughout the day, drawing up to a storm and Amira - having forgotten the time - suddenly found herself unable to leave the Cathedral, or rather, not unable, perhaps just unwilling - the rain would not be kind to the silks she wore. The pure-blood pursed her lips and shrugged - not at all displeased by her elongated stay - decided to return to the hall she had been in a few hours before.
She passed through the corridors, obviously knowing where she was going and had soon reached the hall, she drifted around for moment - elegant whispers of silk soon drowned out by the pitters and patters of the rain falling upon the roof and the occasional thunder. Amira sighed, bent her knees lightly as she jumped unto the windowsill, making herself comfortable and arranging the silks so that she was still properly covered as Amira watched the works of the Norse God, Thor's hammer, unfold upon the dark heaven - smiling lightly as she reminisced the myths, that she once read as a child.
A golden mist vrept towards the cathedral as the rain fell, the mist still moved on un-phased. Damir's thoughts were on finding his brother the golden mist picked up speed as it headed towards the cathedral, first Damir would need a place to rest and recharge for the time being and where better than at a Cathedral?
The golden mist entered the cathedral all at once, and it seemed to rise swirling about falling it on itself even as it rose taking on a humanoid shape that soon transformed into Damir's form, his golden eyes surveying his surroundings a peaceful smile upon his face as he let a gentle sigh escaped his lips. Damir found his legs had a mind of their own as he traveled the hall ways, his keen eyes taking in the scenery in his wandering he saw a female at a window sill observing the rain.
Damir's golden eyed gaze fell upon the female a warm curiosity adding even more brilliance to fiery light that glowed within Damir's golden orbs. The gentle pit pat of the rain was soothing and calming, Damir drew closer to the female with each passing second.
Amira was drawn from her reminiscing by a strange sound, thin eyebrows arching above catty slit-like eyes drew together in slight confusion as her head whipped around, cloudy crimson eyes scanning the room uneasily, the unease morphing into something akin to apprehension as she caught sight of the male approaching her. He looked around her age, but as it often was with supernatural beings - you could not count on the exterior to give you any solid information. Those golden eyes of his, the blond hair and his attractive exterior were all noted as she regarded the male with slight curiosity. A pink tongue slipped out to wet her bottom lip in response and she almost unconsciously crossed her legs and sat up in an upright position, leaning on her right hand against the sill - tilting her head in a cute little gesture. A few minutes passed, with her just watching him with a reserved air of apprehension before her upbringing demanded her to act like one of her station. "Greetings." The polite acknowledgement of his presence slipped over soft pinkish lips, accompanied by a slight bow of her head, before she pushed her form off of the sill - sending her the few meters down to the hard ground, upon which she landed daintily, emitting only the sounds of her silken hanfu's whispers. "Were ye caught by surprise by the weather, sir?"
Damir's golden eyes danced with a mystic light a his gentle smile growing warmer as when he drew close enough the female offered a greeting and a question. "Salutations" Damir responded to the greeting first and then proceeded to answer question his soft velvet laced baritone voice caressing the air as he spoke.
"Yes and no as a wonderer by nature storm like these should be prepared for, yet somehow this one caught me by surprise".
Damir eyed the female carefully as he spoke to her his smile slowly growing warmer as he detected no ill intent in her aura, his golden eyes flashing their approval.
"Would I be correct in the assumption that the weather also caught you off guard?"
Damir asked politely his smile reaching his eyes, for now he had put the search for his brother on the back burner and had decided to enjoy the company of the female before him, it was good to let loose and mingle every now and then. Damir paused and then almost blushed as he remembered that he had yet to introduce himself.
"Forgive my manners I am Damir Veord." Vasher bowed his head in a polite respectful manner his smile warm, welcoming, and playful.
Tilting her head to the left like that of a curious puppy, Amirah watched the male with slightly hooded eyes, a look of pleased amusement and childish mischief glinting in those crimson orbs before the pureblood set in motion, advancing on the male - but never breaking that personal bubble she preferred, her silken robes fluttering with every movement and it whispers telling of the quality, the precious hair accessories embedded and fixed into her intricate hairdo clinking and emitting gentle bell-like sounds as she circled him, like a hunter inspecting prey. " Oh well, such are the whims of nature, mmh~?" The girl commented nonchalantly, pinkish lips pursing as she threw a very quick glance out of one of the many windows before her crimson gaze fixed upon his form once again.
At his question, the vampire seemed stunned and a moment passed, filled with embarrassed silence before Amirah replied to his inquiry "..I..seem to have lost track of time, one moment it is but noon and yet suddenly, I find my instincts alerting me of the moon's return to the heavens. I did not even realize the passing of the day! " Amirah said, sounding a little mournful of the lost time, her lips curving into an flustered little smile, gaze seeking out to the left as she reached up to fiddle with the golden accessory dangling prettily from one of the adornments placed in her hair.
Finding his smile quite handsome, and apparently contagious - Amirah returned the smile and couldn't help but giggle softly at his blushing. " I'm no better thus there is nothing to forgive." The pure-blooded hellion bowed her head, acknowledging his and introduced herself with a coy smile playing on those pinkish lips of hers:"I am Fujiwara Amirah, and for now at least, it is a pleasure to make your acquaintance, sir Damir.
Damir's eyes followed Amira as she circled about him every inch the predator, a small smile found itself in place upon Damr's face. Amira's voice was like a lullaby pleasing to ears, Damir found it easy to listen to what the young women before him had to say. Damir's smile grew exposing his fangs as Amira next gave her name.
"My dear it is indeed a pleasure to have met you madam Fujiwara Amirah.'
With a sudden inspiration Damir became a golden mist the soft light seeming to almost pulse with a life of its own the mist rose to the windows bathing the windows in a golden light that reflected into the hall ways it was as if the sun were shining in it's brilliance through the window casting it's golden rays into the corridor they now stood within. The light magnified, even held a certain warmth.
Damir's voice seemed to echo from every direction at once as he next spoke, "Tell me is this an improvement or does thou prefer the rain?" Damir's voice was playful and teasing all at once.
