Arel listened silently as Vlad began learning the words that his sister had thought him already, he had another problem on his hands. One that he hoped Phoenix would help with, he showed her and finally asked her. He looked at his hand seeing the almost blinding fire light lit in his hand, he would be afraid and almost screaming by now, but he knew his power wouldn't hurt him. He listened as Phoenix explained it, but he shook his head not agreeing with her.
Yes, his mother was a father user and his father a made demon, but this was nothing like their powers. This was different and only once he had experienced it. The day he was born and killed his mother to only bring her back. His eyes turned soft as he looked up at Phoenix. I know the dangers of fire, but this is different. I have experienced my father's and Joshua's fire it is not the same. There is a warmth fire that excalates and burns, this is... He looked once more at the fire he used before. Arel couldn't quite explained it but could only show someone.
His powers were quite strange indeed, he wondered what would phoenix think when she experience her whole life in an instant. This fire did not burn at least not at first. It consumed and judged deciding whether someone was worth it or not. If you were not it burned your soul till you actually died. Arel closed his hand letting the fire extinguish as he held his hand close to his heart. Forget it, I am fine learning something else. He smiled as he looked down at his desk and tried to focus his best on the lecture Phoenix was giving Vlad.
Arel watched Phoenix once more as she changed to that dancing woman she had conjured, rolling his eyes he thought back to what his uncle Joshua would do when she would change. Sighing he leaned his cheek against his palm as he hoped that there was something else he could learn. Arel focused on the noises outside this classroom as he tried to forget that he was far more confused about his power than anyone else.
Boredom finally assaulted her, making her irritable. Standing sharply she walked down the hall into the room where most of the talking was happening. She stood in the door way, a woman and two men sat or stood in the room. She was surprised by the heat that had overtaken the room, only then noticing that it was a fire element class. Her water was a tight match for fire. They both extinguished the other, and yet neither could get a hold of the others throats, in a figurative note that is.
She stood there, leaning against the door, watching the instructor teach her small class, a sense of elation filled her, quenched by a sudden fear of coming to close to these fire users. And yet she could not move. Curiosity won out and her desire to learn all elements besides her own won out. Her feet, having a mind of their own, walked her towards an open seat to the left and behind a boy with a strange color of hair. Sitting lightly she shifted her left leg over her right at the ankle.
Vlad looked at Phoenix and shrugged his shoulders lightly when she told him that those were not symbols but letters.For him it just didn`t make any different.For him those symbols or how Phoenix called them, letters...were nothing but some kind of lines and trying to understand what each of them meant made his head ache.She didn`t say a word to Phoenix and just sat down as Phoenix offered him a seat so she could start to teach him what he wanted to know.He looked up when Arel said that he had some powers and that he kind of was ashamed to tell about those powers to his mother.That surprised Vlad.More than anything he wanted to be more like his mother and father.He knew that his mother was weak right now because she was sick but he remembered what his father told him about Alira.He knew that his mother was strong and powerful...just a little bit troublemaker.Vlad chuckled softly as he fixed his gaze at Arel. "If I were you I would tell my parents about my powers.I`m sure they would be proud and I`m sure Fatima would love to teach you to use them.I know she taught my mother many things."
He grinned and then shifted his gaze back at Phoenix as she began to explain them what each letter meant.He narrowed his eyebrows lightly and had serious look over his face as he listened and tried to memorize everything what Phoenix was telling him.His shot at Arel when Phoenix spoke to him and told him about the fire and how it worked.Her example of how to use fire was pretty impressive though for Phoenix it was nothing.Vlad, himself was still learning about his powers and trying to figure out what he can and can`t do.He shook his head lightly and then stared at letters once again.He felt slight tingling all over his body and then letters suddenly became words... "See its easy?"
He heard a male voice within his head.Vlad looked up swearing that the voice came out from his left.He looked that way but saw no one and he also noticed that it didn`t seem like anyone else could hear...That voice didn`t belong to Arel..it was more deeper....voice of grown man.Vlad narrowed his brows and his gaze fixed on Phoenix. "Wow..she is hot.Do you think she would want to share bed with you?"
Vlad growled softly.. "Shut up!"
He said out loud before he could stop himself.He felt as his cheeks were getting hot as Phoenix and Arel looked at him.He tossed his hair.His light green eyes darkened. "I`m sorry..I just...Umm...Thank you Phoenix for a lesson but I should go now..Please excuse me."
He said feeling as sweat began to appear over his forehead.He grabbed the book he found before and before anyone could stop him he moved through the room towards the door.He didn`t stop and kept walking...He felt bad for leaving Phoenix and Arel like that.He wished he could learn more and spend more time with Arel but his head was hurt and then he could feel presence of someone else...within himself...He didn`t know that his own father once had two sides and had two different personalities so as his grandfather, Alira`s father, Kasimir.Kasimir had two sides as well though his grandfather`s bad side found his own body after a while, when his father became whole with his dark side.
As he moved quickly he slowly began to disappear till he vanished into thin air going in place where he could to be a lone and find out somehow what was going on with him...

Phoenix was teaching Vlad some of the letters on the page before she turned her attention to Arel. He wanted to know more about his fire. At first, she thought he meant the flames she used as well as his family. She heard Vlad tell him to tell his parents. Phoenix nodded softly but maybe there was something she could give him as well. She looked at Arel and was about to speak when she heard Vlad yell loud. Phoenix raised an eye brow slightly. Excuse me, Vlad? She didnt get an answer as he excused himself.
She didnt understand what was going on and simply shook her head. She had shown both boys her fire abilities in different ways. She now stood there in a new dress before Arel after Vlad had left. She had wanted to stop him and ask what was wrong but she didnt get the chance before he ran from the room. Phoenix looked at the woman who had entered and she simply gave her an alluring smirk as she spoke to the woman. It would seem I have another student. Welcome my dear. She smiled before her attention went back to Arel. She took a seat and pulled it to sit beside him. She reached out and opened his palm and rested it into her own palm face up. As she ran her fingers along his palm, she spoke softly to him though she doubted he would know what she meant.
Some call it the flame of destiny. Some have called it the flames of truth. It has even been called the flames of judgement. Your gift is special, Arel. Why you havent told your mother and father yet is something I am not completely sure of. But I shall help you in anyway I can. I shall keep it between us if that is what you wish. I will say this though, young Arel, Do not be afraid of your gift. Even though you dont understand it now, your power understands you. The gods and lines of fate understood them or else you wouldnt have received them. I am thinking you have a greater purpose then you realize but if thats true, it will come out in time. Now... tell me what you would like to know specifically and lets start at the beginning.
Her voice almost sounded motherly as she spoke to Arel. It had been soft and soothing like a mothers voice though she didnt have children. She didnt know how he would take it as she held his palm face up in her hand and looked at him. Phoenix looked at Arel and waited on him to respond as she finally gave his palm a gentle pat with her other hand. She let his hand lay on the table then before she relaxed in the chair, crossing her legs and waiting on him to tell her what he wished to know. He was a special boy so this would be a special teaching since his fire was different. She didnt mind if the other woman watched her lessons. Maybe she would learn something new as well though Phoenix wasnt sure what kindof user she was if anything. It made her look at the woman for a moment and wonder.
Arel watched quite distressed that Vlad had left so abruptly. He looked towards the doors and sighed before looking at Phoenix who sat next to him. Arel looked to see a woman entering and sitting just as Phoenix greeted her and made her feel welcomed. Seeing her open his palm he frowned not wanting to burn her, Flame of destiny? He blinked not really grasping what it all meant. He shook his head and shrugged. I'm not sure, I am afraid that she wouldn't know what to do. I can't ask father because he's hardly around. He furrowed his brow and stared at his hand, a small fire licked his hand and her's. Arel didn't want to be afraid of it, but it was hard not to. I want to control it. I am afraid I would burn someone if I get too angry. Arel had burn a a few of his mother plants and he didn't tell her. He was worried that perhaps he might end up hurting someone if he wasn't to careful.
She nodded to the teacher named Phoenix, then looked at the distressed student. He seemed saddened by his talents.
"If I may...I could shed some light or at least give some advice. I know my power isn't fire let alone the same potency but I do have a strong compatibility with my own element. I am Water." She smiled warmly, hoping he wouldn't reject her to harshly. She knew she didn't have much say in the matter since her element was completely different then his. But at least she could give him some hope in the matter that he was going to tame his gift and wont have to worry about hurting someone ever again. Just as long as he kept what she would tell him in mind.

Phoenix looked at Arel and could see the unsure on his face. She had tried to explain to him what his abilities was but she could tell he still didnt understand as he asked the simple question. She held his hand in her own as she looked down at his hand in hers. When he spoke of his mother, Phoenix looked back up and listened and even give a gentle smile which was rare for her before she spoke to him.
If you wish, I will go with you to explain it to her. She may not know what to do since her gifts are for different things. As for fathers, I can understand that. Mine is hardly around either anymore. But I shall help you.
He looked at his hands again in hers as the small flame flickered in his palm. When he spoke again, he sounded so forlorn about it which made Phoenix slightly sad though her face didnt show it.
Dont worry about that. I shall show you how. You are still young yet. You have time to learn and I shall teach you. Just have to be careful while you learn.
She gave him a smile before the woman who had entered began to speak to them. Phoenix's mask of ruthlessness cross her face again but when she spoke, she wasnt harsh. Simply blunt and honest with the girl.
This flame is slightly different then my own. Its is certainly different then water. But the teachings for controlling them both is the same. If you wish to show your talents, I will watch and I am certain there is some small lesson Arel can learn from it as well.
She gave a faint smirk of a smile and simply waited on Arel or the woman to speak again.
Arel turned to face the woman that had entered the classroom, her words held wisdom but it still confused his young mind. Did you ever think of the possibilities of what it could cause? For a young child, Arel was very observant and a bit mature for his age. Still at this woman's words and at Phoenix he found it that they still didn't understand. His brow eyes shifted to Phoenix. I would like that, but I don't want her to think that I didn't tell her because I didn't trust her. His fey ears twitched and slightly flatten as he thought of his father Rahmiel, a vampiric demon warrior that was almost never present. He sighed softly as the white flame caressed Phoenix licking and tasting. Images of past sins didn't flicker, but he could feel the underlining sense of his powers. He was sure Phoenix would feel something. My mother said that my name means Angel of Fire. He frowned removing his hand from hers and watching the white flame move about it a spiral. She doesn't know how true she was to that name... He whispered to himself and bit his lip, creating a small little pet for himself out of the flames. I also have a more than just this flame. He looked at the woman and then back at Phoenix. I can bring anyone from death and restore what has been ruined. He bit his lip nervous of what they would think of him. He stared at the woman once more and gave her a sheepish smile. I would love to learn all that I can.
"My, you have amazing talents! You should not be embarrassed by them, to have a power like this is a great gift. Something to never be ashamed of. My water abilities supersede many water users. And yet I am growing stronger, with me I will shed some light. My dear, when I was growing up my siblings would make fun of me for mine gift, they would taunt and name call, telling me that I would never do much with it. It gave me the desire to surpass them and prove them wrong. To show the world that water is a dangerous tempest that should never be reckoned with. Fire in itself is a dangerous foe, but have you ever seen what the waves of a beach can do? Or the water on a stormy night? It causes more destruction than fire ever will, and yet it heals and breeds life. I admit I did it for the wrong reasons, I attacked my siblings, suffocating them with my power, drawing orbs of water over their faces until they turned blue or passed out.I would terrorize anyone who came near me with ill intent." She spoke as she drew nearer to them, placing her palm on the desk closest to her, she looked at the young boy, her eyes liquid in the candle light, "But as I grew older, wiser, my gift fully matured. I know not how old you are, yet if you are young at all. But to bring the dead to life, to recreate beauty out of chaos and destruction... Is amazing and rare. If I was to mother a child such as yourself I would have become swollen with pride. I know not all your capabilities but I will say this. The day you accept your powers is the day you will have control. I accepted mine at a young age because it set me apart from my family, it freed me and gave me an open mind," As she had been speaking her left hand came up to show them that as they were concentrated on her, she was working her element. The water dragon she called into existence earlier was wrapping its length against her skin, and where it met her skins heat it sizzled. She smiled and looked at the young lad sitting down in front of her, and spoke a simple word, the water dragon looked from Ivy to the boy then slithered away from her palm onto the desk. It sat there spewing mists of 'fire'.
"A lot of people call this a 'party trick' but it is so much more than that. Do you believe in dragons dear? I do, and with that belief is strength. That strength gave this creature of water power and life. With this dragon I can heal and destroy. Between you and I thought I would rather heal. The point in me telling you all this is that no matter the cost accept your gifts, it will give you the strength of control. And to have control is to have strength. The same applies to will power." The water dragon suddenly jumped away from the desk it was sitting upon to flap its liquid wings hard and heavy towards Arel. When it was close to his desk it landed, looked up to him then towards Phoenix. From there it walked, teetering side to side as droplets of water fell from its body. The dragon came as close as it could to Arel.
"With my power I can control him from far away... Go ahead and touch him. I swear he doesn't bite. And you wont hurt him, trust me," She smiled warmly, making a motion with her hands for the go ahead.

Phoenix looked at the female and then to Arel who spoke to her. He was wise beyond he years and yet he didnt know it. She smiled as she let his hands rest in her own before he looked at her and spoke about her offer. She watched the flame in the hands and opened her other palm, letting her flames flicker and lick at his flames as well as her own hand.
There is nothing wrong with wanting to seek information to better understand before giving info to others. I've done it for a long time. I wouldnt suggest doing it all the time but if I am to teach you how to control it, I am sure she will want to know who is helping you. I doubt she will think it was because you didnt trust her.

Yes I remember what your name means. I was actually there the day you were born. Arel, your home didnt always look the way it does now. When you were born, it changed into the beauty that it is now. From what I know, it would seem that your birth brought life back to the home of your mother and family. So in a sense, you didnt just bring her back but you also gave life to your home. That isnt anything to be ashamed of.
She smiled before she saw him pull his hand away and the woman speak to them about her abilities. Phoenix couldnt help but chuckle at her comment about being better then most water users. Phoenix knew of one alittle better then this woman and she couldnt help but speak up about it.
You may wish to watch what you say dear. I know someone who I can say far surpasses you on water and fire use. But then again, she was blessed by the goddess Night herself. As far as how old Arel here is, well lets just say.... he is fourteen years old. His cousins were born around the same time and have grown just as much.
She smiled at Arel and then turned her attention back to the woman again who continued on. She had some talent. Phoenix couldnt deny that but she had to agree that most would consider it party tricks. It was her question about Dragons that made her raise an eye brow. She watched the dragon she made come towards them and move around by her control. Phoenix smirked and shook her head softly.
If you want to see a dragon, why dont you go to the dragon mountains? Besides, I hope you do Arel. Fatima has a dragon as well as your aunt Rose. Would you like to see them my dear?
Phoenix smiled at the young woman who was controling the water dragon. She had talent but apart of Phoenix told her that the woman still had some learning to do. Maybe that was why she had walked into her class room.
Arel looked upon both woman listening very tentatively, he blushed as the woman commented on his talents. It wasn't the only things he could do, there was more but he wasn't going to tell these women. Arel found himself enthralled by the woman's story, but he frowned his brown eyes glimmering at the thought of someone tormenting their siblings. Arel loved his older sister Lilith, they never spent time together, but when they did she was kind and he loved her dearly.Arel knew his mother would be proud, but was scared that maybe his power was too rare and many would want it and that might frighten his mother.
He stared at his hand, the celestial white flame flickering and licking his palm. Arel wondered what would happen when he matured, he wanted to be strong like his uncle and warrior like his father. Arel looked at the woman who was now working with water. His eyes grew wide to see a dragon forming and dancing about the room. I do, we have one. Everyone calls her Rose, but I know that her real names is Rosemary. She's pretty, her scales glow a soft purple. Arel laughed, his hand almost reaching but pulling back not wanting to distort the dragon. Arel looked at the woman and smiled, he reached out petting the dragon, the water sizzling and misting. Pretty. He murmured softly, his hand shinning a soft light and illuminating the dragon. It slowly began to give the dragon life at this Arel removed his hand and blinked unsure if he wanted the dragon to run wild in school grounds.
Arel listened to Phoenix, never did he know he helped with his birthing. At Phoenix comment he glared at her and nudged her. Behave Phoenix. He pouted, knowing that this woman had a fiery attitude about things. Though he blushed when she mentioned his age. Yes, well I have a slight need to grow up already. Feels like forever. He bit his lip, just like any kid they wanted to grow and be older and Arel wasn't an exception.
She smiled and admitted to Phoenix, "You may be right my Lady, but then again you have not seen most of my powers. But I am open minded and I shall accept that you know someone who could and can best me in mine work. As far as the namesake of Goddesses mine own blessed me, and I do not call her the goddess Nyx if that is whom you speak. I have a dragon back home...Well not mine exactly. He was my fathers." she quieted a little when Arel touched her water beast, she smiled when it sizzled, but then again if it hurt the water being the being did not show discomfort. Smiling again she spoke in Gaelic, "Tar" the dragon looked at her instantly then slithered over towards her open hand.
"The dragons name is Rí Dóiteáin, it means Fire King. He was the only thing that protected me against my siblings as we grew older. Rosemary sounds very beautiful. You would do well to tell the Dragoness that when you see her. Dragons can be very vain." Ivy laughed then, remembering the day she told Rí Dóiteáin he was ugly, she narrowly escaped his descending claws, he did not stop roaring until a week after, that's when she was told to go to him and speak the truth. "Father's Dragon is a deep shade of gold with white tipping the edge of his scales. He is a mighty beast indeed."

Phoenix shook her head slightly as she looked at the female before her who was talking. This woman clearly showed a slight lack in knowledge on somethings. First being gods and goddesses. Phoenix crossed her legs slightly while she finished before she spoke up.
Well dear let me give you alittle lesson. The goddess Night is not this Nyx goddess you speak of. Her name is called Night. She is the goddess of all night creatures. She goes by many names depending on the pantheon of deities you follow. True, Nyx is one of her many names, but Night is her true and given name. She is the one who blessed princess Rose. Your uncle Joshua's wife and your aunt, Arel. But you already knew that. Maybe the same goddess blessed you both in that sense. I would have to say that being goddess blessed is not the major thing about Rose. Being part vampire, part angel, and now part demon from her husband does have to be a plus on the powers factor.
Phoenix smiled at the woman before she looked at Arel. She snapped her fingers and a glass of blood wine appeared in her hand. She was feeling tired and needed to feed later for a few hours. Right now the wine would work. They watched the dragon move around and it made Phoenix smile and feel something slightly to see Arel show his happiness in a child like way. His cousins would do the same if they were here at the moment. Phoenix listened as Ivy spoke again about her dragon and Arel spoke about Rosemary. It made Phoenix think back to Rose's dragon and a few others she had seen in the kingdom.
I remember seeing Rosemary. Hmm, I saw a dragon in hell once though he looked like flames. Rose's dragon is red with black spikes all over his body. Oh... my father can turn into what some call a shadow dragon or smoke dragon.
Phoenix smiled before the speak of birthing and Arel being grown. She hadnt expected him to nudge her and then pout. Phoenix frowned slightly before she smiled again and gently touched his back as if he was one of her nephews.
Its alright, Arel. Ill behave so no pouts.
She gave him a smile and a wink before she heard him talk about growing up. It made her wonder when the next time the twins would have another growth spirt. She had a feeling it would come sooner rather then later but with growing, there was never any way of telling with immortals.
"I Would rather not be on the subject of faith if you would please.. I tend to go into debate mode," She smiled at Phoenix, she felt in her heart that even if she were to show the woman her true power, the true gift she had over water, the woman would still scoff at her. Even if she was the strongest water user around she would never let anyone else know this, she liked having the upper hand.
"Your father can do that? How I have not heard of such a power before." Her face showed complete shock,. But before Phoenix could answer, Ivy's familiar padded through the doors, "Koatsu I told you to stay in the cottage." She huffed.
"I'm sorry Miss but I must take him home and that means cutting this conversation short. Come Koatsu, let us go." She waved at the woman and then said goodbye to Arel.
As she was walking past her room she locked the door, then proceeded to walk out the large doors.
"How prideful these creatures of the night are, it amuses me." She noticed a young man walking away from the school, she didn't go and say hello, because he was already to far, but she made sure to note his appearance for a latter time.
Arel stared at up at Phoenix with a bright smile, he hoped she behaved he had heard a lot of from his uncles and aunts that Phoenix was a bit of a lot too handle. He listened, as she and Ivy seemed to begin to get into it. Arel shook his head and sighed a bit as he leaned against his desk. He liked Ivy, she was nice and not people were nice to young children as him. He had grinned and nodded at her request of telling Rosemary how beautiful she was. He fell silent after a while unsure how to answer both women and he listened. Though their conversation didn’t last long between all three. Someone seemed to have arrived for Ivy and he frowned. Oh, I do hope to see you around more. He waved at her and grinned as he sat comfortably in his chair. Looking at Phoenix he narrowed his eyes. I think you scared her, she was nice. Anyways I should get going, my mother might get worried. He admitted quietly, he hadn’t told his mother that he was coming here.

Ethan began walking towards Talent Unice. He was confused for the most part, the magic of the time warp he had done, reverted. He had grown 18 but in a matter of a day came back to his age of 16; his eye-sight was still blurry but he wasn't blind. He wondered what had happened, he read books all the time about victims of time warps losing something forever. His had been temporary...What had happened? He knew what it was that he lost now....He was no longer a shape shifter like his father. but he finally could rest knowing who killed his parents and there names. How could his brother do that? Zral Vun....Wasn't his pet or his sword or his friend. He was his brother....He wouldn't have believed it himself. That was why Zral had distanced himself when he realized Ethan was beginning to figure it out. How could Zral kill his own parents...Zral would kill him next if he didn't start to become more powerfull. But with losing most of his magic all he could do is be a human with good sword-fighting abilities. That is why he found himself at the door of Talent Unice. He had to train before Zral came after him...He didn't tell anyone royal or anyone that knew a royal. Because he couldn't let them find out and try to kill Zral or protect him. He pushed the door opened and began to walk in...
