Pictures of mods go in the picture sticky. Some exceptions will be made (i.e. "This is what I'm working with for my new tattoo, give me some feed back", "Look at this omfg horrible mod I found on the internet", "[+Tumorcorns]")
No drama. Everyone has different views on what looks good as far as mods go. No personal attacks about ink or piercings. (This rule can be bent in cases of "Hai gaiz I'm 16 and just tattooed a HUUUUUUGE spider over my fayce!!!!eleven!")
This thread DOES NOT have to be solely about mods. Get to know each other. I've posted in this forum for over 3 years.... Hell I'm a mod ffs.... And I don't know half your names.
In order to not intimidate any newcomers, at 50 pages we will do a clean up, leaving only the last 5 pages.
I'm so excited, apparently he really likes my idea too which is always a plus. AND it's gonna be way cheaper than I was expecting, which means I can still get the swallows on my arms changed. Weeeeee!
Probably just gonna get them covered, they're only small with no colour so they should be easy to work with. Not too sure what I want there so I might just give him free reign depending on what he says could work

Also also I am attempting to put together a portfolio of photographs to submit for Shambhala's media team. It's pretty much a volunteer thing but there's perks like some good VIP spots, and some meals, and early entry fees are waved. They would have rights to my pictures there but I don't really care since I would get my work posted on their website so my name would get out there a bit.
But I have no idea how to start an online portfolio since I have never had to make one before.
It came to 220 altogether including the deposit. I actually found it worse than my feet, by the end of the third hour I was really struggling, and I'm usually very good with pain :c
I have to agree with the pain part. My tiger lily is a litter more to the side of your swan, and it hurt more than my calf and back of shoulder pieces.
Before I got my new work boots I was getting a lot of sparks/chunks of melted metal on my toes and top of my feet. I'm almost convinced that I could tolerate getting some work done on them now
So guys, anyone know how I can get pictures from my phone to the post your mods thread? Turns out photobucket can't handle that task.
In related news, new tattoo motherfuckers! It's amazing and I love it, but it was embarrassingly expensive. That's what you get when you commission a custom piece from an international award winning artist? Also she and I are like...the same person, we get along really well, but today before we started inking we got into a full-on screaming match The rest of the shop was scaaared.
I can't wait to show you Alisha! This is the one for mum, and it's completely different to what I had in mind, but somehow way more "her". I dunno, it's amazing.

I keep bouncing between ideas for my Sham tattoo. Pretty much everything between location, how to make it flow, do I want a unique different flower designed accordingly to each year. Or maybe even getting artists that do airbrushing art there to whip something up

I would definitely get the airbrushers to design something! Especially because you don't know exactly what you want. Their ideas would at least be a good jumping off point, you know?
I'm leaning more and more that way, last year I promised I would get some custom art. Another reason I'm on the hunt for same blank paper (rice paper?) parasols.

Nah, they just think they should get special treatment is all. "I'm trying to follow the rules but it's hard" doesn't really fly with me
Imma reiterate what I said there though. We're not speaking face to face here, posters have an infinite amount of time to think about what they're going to post. If you can take the time to type out a response to a thread, you can take the time to check that your response isn't against the rules. ADD isn't an excuse to bump threads, dyslexia isn't an excuse to type like a moron, Apsergers isn't an excuse to be an asshole, being new isn't an excuse for "not knowing". I ban rule breakers, and I DON'T listen to excuses.
The place I was getting my bandanas from finally got another shipment the day I went there. So I bought 20 more and I can continue my project. Some of the colors are different shades but I can work with that.
