Either way it would have taken 2 seconds to stop and get the house to be level. If the house is on an uneven foundation then I would have left out the road at the bottom to achieve a straighter looking house.
It does look like you just haven't lined it up right though, it might look more deliberate if you crop the road off and make the sure the curb's horizontal.
