My parakeet Charlie Cheaplin, has a beak that constantly grows. I go to the vet to get it trimed every month or so. I changed his diet to zuprem pellets and vitamin drops in his water, as the vet advised, but it still grows. He wont touch his cuddle bone and I bought him a pineapple chew, which is like a cuddle bone..he barely uses it.so then I got him this chewable branch...and he just sits on it. Does any one have any suggestions to fix his problem? Has anyone had this issue with one of their own birds?

My pioness has been that way for 10 years. I never found a resolution beyond vet maintenance with him, since he had a bit of a traumatic experience with toys as a young bird.

However, some of my customers have had success with apple wood toys for small animals, sand blasted perches, and coconut treat sticks. If those don't work, I'm out of ideas. :/
