Never ever saw it on tv. It wouldn't make my day either to here blablabla some band this, went to there, brought out this cd lalala. I rather watch comedies.
I think "Great" is a bit of an overstatment. I think it's almost exactly the same as the previosu doc he made. It was too rushed through and gave too much credit to some and not enough to others.
I mean, the MC5 were influential to a point, but virtually unknown and nowhere NEAR the scope of Van Halen, who got about 3 minutes of a mention, while the fucking MC5, a band that milks one song (kick out the jams) more than any other band this side of Human League and Tommy TuTone!
and for the record, TMS is hit or miss for me, but I enjoy it overall and I think it's nice to have and certainly doesn't deserve to be cancelled. It's not like it's clogging up the air so something else isn't getting air time. I have made a thread in here in the past though that I think it's a show that targets people more MY age than teens or twenty-somethings because almost all the guests were popular when I was in high school
“Doubt fucks everything. Take a foundation, no matter how strong, sprinkle generously with doubt, and watch it crumble. Me? I’m unfuckwithable."
Motorhead has never been a punk band, c'mon. Metal bands have been playing Motorhead stuff for years!
Even when I read a lot of stuff about Maiden (the years with Paul as the singer) and I see write-ups from the time that say how they're a punk band it confounds me.

Yeah, other than the vocals, I don't really have a huge issue with either band, honestly, but most Coheed fans I know are a bit obsessive and can't figure out why I hate his voice.
