The musics not bad, pretty generic though.
Whats with bands these days not bothering with industrialis sounding samples eh ? Surely it can`t hurt to throw in a hydraulic sound, maybe an engine whine, steel press noises.
Lazy, lazy, lazy.
Sounds like you want to listen to bands like Einstürzende Neubauten,Die Krupps,Test Dept,Laibach,SPK, Throbbing Gristle
I don't know any new industrial/EBM bands who would be a modern day Einstürzende Neubauten, but with dubstep being so popular some industrial bands are starting to use dubstep influences personally i can't stand dubstep because it the same sounds over and over again
I depsise dubstep as well. I`d like more modern industrial bands to take the road fla took almost a decade before with the epitaph album. Lots of layers, so you get more bleeps, blips and synths for your money.
It should not be that hard to throw in some more actual industrialish sounding smaples, Hocico do it still.
shitkicker
yeah i prefer new FLA stuff from the 2000s to older stuff but i always seem to run into people who really hate the new FLA sound
I did have ago at making some old style industrial like Skinny Puppy but it was terrible and i came to the conclusion their is no point in trying to do music similar to Skinny Puppy,FLA,ohgr etc cause they do it best.
I will admit that i give credit to Angelspit for having ago and making music with modular synths and making their own instruments but i don't like any of there music accept for 1 or 2 song's but the lyric's are poorly written they sound like a mix of catchy words but together
Pddie yeah man i bit the bullet and gave in in joined VF
Angelspit use a lot of analogue sounds, even junk metal percussion here and there. I like them, but they tend to be really formulaic on all their albums. Krankaus had some gems though.
hey
yeah Krankaus had a back to basic's kind of feel that alot of industrial/EBM bands have lost the 1st album nurse grenade was not bad but now I just find Angelspit's merchandise more interesting than the music sadly
Uberbyte Cheers for the comments man
all electronic music is related in some kind of way
What I find that makes Industrial music so interesting to make is its an experimental genre you can make music using elements of electro, dance, trance, rock, dubsten, glitch, black metal, punk, techno, gabba unlike stuck making house music,RNB or something your stuck with a certain sounds and rhythms etc
musician or fan just find what sounds you like and stick with it
it is a mystery how some music genres get really popular that might not seem that good like I never get why indie rock or emo stuff became such a big thing
I will be doing a small run of 100 physical CD's which will come with 11 remixes by Amduscia,NoisuF-X,SAM,Shiv-r and more PLEASE get in contact if you are interested in a copy
