that sunless rise bit reminded me of KALMAH, not really tech death, but then that's my ears. A lot of the good mentions have been made ^^, I've been preaching Spawn of Possession to long now, so for lack of anything better; Thank you Chuck, for raising the bar.
"Grow up" says the girl spamming gay in big letters to get attention. I enjoy a vast selection of musical genres. The fact you're of the opinion that one genre sucks doesn't make it any less valid. Any music is an art form and it won't appeal to everyone, but it doesn't make it absent of talent and depth. People who hurl abuse at others and their tastes in music are closed minded and conceited. We're all entitled to our opinions, but there is absolutely no need to come across as an abrasive and immature brat.
You can't compare entirely different genres. You can't even really compare different bands within the same genre. Just appreciate the music for what it is and if you don't like it, so what? Someone else with derive pleasure from it. Bands wouldn't have albums out if there weren't people who saw them as talented.
Strong opinions are all well and good, they remind you of who you are. But warped and insulting opinions are unnecessary. But this is the internet, where people tend to like adopting argumentative and tough guy alter egos to make themselves feel more significant than their own persona allows in the real world.
I'm not to sure. Can there be a tech/death metal? it wouldnt sound as good as regular death. it would be full of synth and bass, with death in it? HMMMM. i'll see what i can find to dind something new is always fun.
