Carved In Ashes is a perfectly balanced blend of progressive metal and atmospheric soundscapes. We're not drone enough to be postmetal, and probably not pyrotechnical enough to arouse people into djent-minded headbanging frenzy. Nevertheless, we have crafted yet another EP with cafefully selected songs, conveying a myriad of moods and emotions and yet resolving in satisfaction, or gratification even, in the end. Our music is rich in sophisticated textures, with notes of mature progmetal. It is a perfect companion to a bottle of good Cabernet Sauvignon and a razorblade. It also makes a good partner to desperation.
