We all have those games; we bought them because they looked cool but then after playing a bit we realized it wasn't what we were looking for at that time, set it aside, and never returned to it. What're some of yours?
LIMBO-I love the graphics, the ambience, the "story" but the gameplay design is bleh. You will die. A lot.
Alien Breed 2: Assault-More of a chore than anything else. Also basically one long fetchquest.
Oddworld: Abe's Odyssey-I'm just bad at platform games. That's what it all comes down to.
Assassins creed. I played the first one. Not even 2 hours later, I was saying fuck this, dropping the controller and then going off to doing something else.
I'm going to have to go with LA Noire. Sure, it's interesting, but the gameplay is incredibly repetitive. Investigate crime scene, gather clues, listen to your partner berate you, interrogate suspects, engage in an action sequence (car chase, shoot out, etc), arrest guilty person. Repeat FORTY times.
I know there's plenty of hidden stuff in the game to find, but that alone isn't enough to make me care enough to finish the game.
I enjoyed the game, I just hated how the game was flawed in the fact it would just have to pretty much make a conclusion for the case if you fucked up royally
Anything new. New games lack what im looking for. I play d2 and the diablo3 beta. Im oldschool I like escape velocity nova. I didnt like Oblivion havent touched elder scrolls since morrowind and I am glad.
Final Fantasy XIII - too long for my liking... and its just a pain in the ass at some points -.-"
7 Blades - AWESOME GAME!!!! but sadly i acutally couldn't beat the last level in the game casuing me to just get majorly pissed off at it... (Unbeatable due to camera angle in my opinion anyway)
and im sure there's more that i can't think of right now.
I'm stuck on a roof, hiding behind a box with only 5% health, no healing mechanisms, and about five guys surrounding me. In this scenerio, I only have a crappy gun early on in the game.
I hated Tenchu z for how off it was compared to the series of games before it. Definately the downfall of Tenchu. I loved the challenge those games presented along with the plots. Classic ninja entertainment.
I loved tenchu 1-4, wrath of heaven was my favourite. The A.I. sucked, the controls were wonly, but it was still fun as hell. I loved the music too. Incredibly violent series of games.
Who was your favourite character to use ? I liked Rikimaru and Tasumori. I remember in wrath of heaven, killing Omnikage instantly by flash bombing him then wrath of heaven move, I laughed.
I forget who the other Kunoichi, apart from Ayane was in Killing Shadows.
Batman:Arkham City, its a good game, lots of fun with a bigger map, but before long you realise the bossfights are shit and you`l end up with max goodies way too soon, just from beating up everyone inbetween main missions. Really overhyped game.
Infamous, bought it, hated it, fucking snipers on roofs everywhere make geting from A to B a chore.
Resistance 3, nothing wrong with it per say, unlocking weapon upgrades keeps you stuck in, but the overall mechanics, multyplayer just does not stand up, then theres the small matter of utter plagarism in sotryline and overall mission structure.
Panocha Posse 4 life. Panocha Bandito. Love the camboyana puta. CHUPALO PUTA!!!!

I still haven't finished Kingdoms of Amalur because... well I don't have a year of free time. I really want to get back into it though. Also, I have never finished Oblivion, because it got so generic. Morrowind had such soul! Oblivion is just washed out. I still enjoyed it fairly. (Combat-wise)
Skip the first assassin's creed game. It's remarkably boring. The 2nd game onwards is really fun because they give you a MUCH more open world to play in + side quests you can choose to take.
I recently started playing the Gungrave game for PS2 which my husband was also playing as well. The graphics weren't bad and for a button-masher type game it is mildly entertaining. The little cutscenes were nice to.. and of course, I like the Grave series. My husband was basically toward the end so I watched himplay it through... I realized I didn't want to finish it myself because the ending's only perk for mashing the same five buttons for six short levels of bullets and explosions is the ability to go through the same levels and "kick their ass!" In slow motion (you can set the frequency this"perk" occurs) and some terrible looking figurines in a gallery. It is pretty lame. I will say, it made me want to play through Max Payne again lol
Doom III [don't think I'm ever going to get round to completing it].
Final Fantasy XIII [I like it. I just can't be bothered playing a game that is going to take me months to complete].
