I love MCR.
I didn't love their latest album. I don't feel like they really tried to do anything that exciting or interesting. They just amped up the pop, combined it with the juxtaposition of this sort of post apocalyptic fantasy story-line and thought that would be good enough.
While there are songs on that album I really like I don't love any of it which is disappointing because I feel they can do better. Especially considering The Black Parade was so good.
That being said, to reiterate; I do absolutely love MCR. They made that screamo/pop/punk genre their own. The band though extremely popular is given an unfairly hard time by elitists/music snobs, but you can't deny MCR has a unique sound.
Also, "Bullets" while not fully cohesive is pretty underrated.
I had pleasure of seeing them at small venue a few months before they released and toured The Black Parade, and to this day it's the most fun I've ever had at a show (and I've seen GWAR - awesome good time).
I would love to see them again.
I hope the next album they put out calls back to Bullets, or Revenge not too literally of course, but I crave that darker sound from them.
i love my chemical romance, my best friend and i have been best friends because i told her to turn on fuse when their song I'm not okay was playing and that was what really bonded our friendship and that was almost 7 years ago. their music has been very theraputic and helpful in the tough times i have faced and even tho their last album wasn't the greatest i will stick by them until they decide to stop making music because of what their music has done for me in the past. i have only been able to see them play one song live because i got lost on my way to see them open for blink 182
i love MCR, always will. Their latest album wasn't my favorit, and I dont like it that much, but it's still okay. But their live shows... oh god. Gerard said he wanted to focus on their sound more, and now they just stand in one spot and dont do anything. IF I WANTED TO JUST HEAR THEM, I'D STAY AT HOME AND LISTEN TO A CD!! i want to see lights, theatrics, them MOVING!!
I'm a huge fan of My Chemical Romance.
Personally, my favorite album was Three Cheers', but there isn't an album, or b-side that they have brought out that I have been disappointed with.
I've been listening to them since my sister was playing a mixtape of various artists which included Headfirst for Halos, from their first album, Bullets, and that was end of 2002. I've been a fan ever since I heard them 11 years ago.
My album will always be ' bullets '. Though, i like all their stuff, all of it. It's good hear that their is still good fans out there. I'm sick of hearing people complain, because i don't give a fuck anymore.
Hell. yes. One of my all time favorite bands, I own the Welcome To The Black Parade cd, and I even like a page on facebook called, "Gerard Way's black skinny jeans left back pocket" Lol.
Love the older stuff. Used to listen to them back when i was in middle school & high school, when all the good stuff came out. Saw them way back in the day before they changed and got to meet/hang with them, they were pretty awesome dudes back then.
I've been listening to them since 2004.
I fell in love with them. I got to see them on their World Contamination Tour and I cried the entire time. I'm excited for whatever the come out with next. <3

that I want you in the most unromantic way..."

Well yeah, I grew up with them for the past nine years so of course I still like them. I'm still a Bullets/Revenge fan though. I'd rather they go back to that style of music but I doubt they will.
I am a rediculously huge fan of mcr, i love all their albums, the newest one is there worst one in my opinions. But i love them all for different reasons. And they all match any mood I am in. Because no two albums by them are the same O.O But I saw them live about a year ago and caught their drumstick.. and I almsot died DD
Anyone else excited to hear the new songs their releasing over the next 5 months though?
