This thread is the only place any discussion of paranormal subject matter will take place in this forum. If you want more freedom and the ability to make individual threads, feel free to search the cults. I believe there is a fairly large cult devoted entirely to paranormal subject matter.
Post an individual thread about aliens, ghosts or whathaveyou, it will be locked or outright deleted. If the subject matter is questionable, you will probably have your thread locked and be directed to this thread.

The "be nice" includes those skeptics who wish to challenge the beliefs of posters in this thread. This is not a place for you to look to pick a fight. If you want to contest someone, fine, but you better do it in a cordial fashion. People intentionally inciting arguments, insulting, or otherwise acting up will be warned and possibly banned.

How about noting where the pointer is before you go to sleep and then checking it later after you wake up. In the mean time make sure that your windows are closed so that no gusts of wind can come in. And hopefully you are not in an earthquake-prone area or a closet sleep walker. Upon awakening, if the pointer has moved, well....*cue twilight zone music*.
well its not in my room now :P If i woke and it did move... Looks like i need to look into a new house.. in another city. That is in another country. On another continent.

I can only dream of paranormal experiences. Nothing paranormal has ever happened to me. Aside from memories...but who is to say whether they are true or false?
I've a poltergeist in my house, follows me. He turns the tv up super loud and screws with my doorknob. I'm not at all creeped out about it, he isn't threatening.

about a little more than a month ago, the weather was going bad outside, i came out of my room into the hallway to brush my hair suddenly in the corner of my right eye slightly above my head i saw a white bright shining orb about as big as a tennisball, i remember also that some blue lighted electric became visible on the outside of the orb, there was some strong tension, it lasted about 2 seconds then it disappeared, after that i saw smaller orbs two times more.. but since that day i haven't seen more of it.. does anyone have an idea of what it could have been?! or have anyone seen something like this too? i would like to know '.'

I have seen orbs too. One came into my left side (peripheral) vision that appeared to be moving...stopped and backed up. I quickly turned to look at it but didn't see anything. Hard to say what it was but I have noticed that a lot of natural visual distortions happen in your side vision. Hardly any show up in your frontal vision. So it could just be a natural phenomenom of light refraction in the side vision of your eye. It wouldn't hurt to have your eyes checked once in a while too.
sometimes some things can only be seen in ones' peripheral vision. I challenged a bloke once, in a bit of old growth (near Eniskerry) for throwing a hatchet at a tree. After the confrontation, in my periphery, I saw an emanation that seemed associated with the tree and got a sense that my being allowed to see it was an aknowledgement of my defence of the tree.
Yes, I had chewed paper, but I have come to be able to tell the difference between delusion and things that just don't normaly register.
When I looked directly towards the site of the anomolous vision all I saw was the hacked up tree but the sense that there was more going on never left me.

Does anybody else's imaginary friends they had as a kid just, never go away? That's what happened to me, and I have quite a few. Their physical appearances have changed but their personalities have remained the same. My personal belief is that they're spirits that I've become close with, rather than just things I imagine. One in particular certainly seems like my guardian.
Well who knows there are some faiths that believe in spirit guardians or animals. But how do you know for sure if they aren't just in your head? Like can they do anything that affects the physical realm? Have other people ever heard or seen them or "felt" their presence?
I can certainly feel them, even if they don't leave marks. And yes, other people have felt them. I had an ex boyfriend of mine come and ask me if I had sent a demon after him. I was taken aback by the question so I asked on of my friends(?) if she had done something to him and she said yes. It blew my mind a little bit.
Yulian I personally have never seen a black-eyed person though I have to say that it is very possible for them to exist unnoticed by many considering how many homeless there are in the US alone. I've really never heard of Slenderman before so I'll have to check up on that. I love cryptozoology so I find it rather interesting.
i found out that there have also been reportings of Adult versions of the Black Eyed Kids,which has given me an idea seening as next month is october and I do have the stuff to do this with.
There might just be a rash of Blacked Beings Sightings!

Oh see in my first post regarding Black eyed people I was talking more about the adults. I was wondering why you kept referring to them as just kids. lol
Yeah I agree with azaziel. You probably should think about what kind of spirit it is before you try to contact it. If it's a simple spirit, would it be someone that you were close to that died that is trying to contact you?
i have tried to learn it but I always get the feeling i'm floating outsaide my body and then the big BOOM I feel like i'm being slammed right back into it.

Wow. I want to do it to find myself and to make myself happier. Does it really help you in this world. I am kinda scared to do it because I don't want to go to the lower planes.
