I kinda like where this is going. But yeah, there are different types of zombies as well as different ways of defining them. Deadites might not exactly be your traditional zombies, but they are the living dead.
And if we are counting Frankenstein, I wanna add the 1931 Karloff version to my list then. And Bride of Frankenstein too.
Haha yeah.
I like the typical infected best for most scenarios... though vampire's ghouls are a bit more intimidating as they often retain the knowledge of how to use weapons. Then the demonic ones are just a nightmare scenario that is unlikely any human would really survive... depending on HOW powerful they were and what it takes to kill them. Then the construct ones... >.> powerful, no pain, intelligent in comparison, and can be popped off an assembly line if the right psycho is in power!
I like these things, they give me a lot of stories to write-... er... type! XD
I always write in a script format. Kinda want to make a movie or at least an anime/manga... but that takes money and publishers I have no idea how to get a hold of. Oh well, all but my most recent writings is gone anyway...
Still, I love the zombie-ghoul ideas from Fallout's series. Let's not forget the creatures from Left4Dead. Mutates... nyah!
Probably because it ended with all the "heros" of the film dying... I have to agree with you still.
After all... not like everyone survives situations that go bad!

Dawn of the Dead remake and Day of the Dead remake.
Zombieland is great too.
Oh, and if you like funny zombie movies go watch Undead or Alive and ZMD: Zombie of Mass Destruction!
Zombie rides a horse? Is that the one where the chick is the twin sister of a chick that got killed, and there's military, and the bad guy is an older guy that thinks zombies are still people? Haaaaated it.
The 28s were good. I think the infected fit the stereotype of zombie for the most part, but between the rage virus and the infected not being dead, its more like rabies than anything. Quarantine falls into this category. Not actual infected, but still basically zombie.
Romero's movies are great. I don't like the original Night of the Living Dead though. I'm just not a fan of black and white. The Day of the Dead remake is pretty good, possibly because of love Mena Suvari. Lol
I'm really happy that I found this thread. I love zombies more than anything else. Books, movies, games, but there's still a lot I haven't seen. I'm excited to have a much longer list to check out.
There's a couple that I've seen that I can't remember the name of. One of the ones I've seen that was just fuckin weird had to do with a chicken restaurant and infected food? Fuckin weeeeird. Super cheesy too.
I found one on Netflicks called Berlin Undead. I'm gonna watch it now. And Dead Snow if on here too, so I think it might be zombie day
just finished Berlin Undead. Not too bad. I don't usually like subtitled horror, a lot of the time when something is going down you either watch what's happening or read the dialogue, not both. This one made it pretty easy though, not a lot of talking during the action scenes. Its a much simpler movie than most other zombie flicks. Not my favorite but definitely not the worst.
I just started watching another one called The Horde, and wtf? This ones is french. O.o there's a theme here I think lol
if you think about it, the "zombies" in 28 days later and 28 weeks later weren't technically zombies, they were simply incredibly mad people, diseased with rage incarnate. zombies in my opinion always have been and always will be the walking dead. maybe slightly slow, but always scary because of their shear numbers, and the fact that once they have you its almost impossible to escape,
