And due to the release schedule of both, it will finish the sub stream on CR first.
The Friday edition of the Ch?nichi Shimbun paper in Aichi Prefecture published a special feature with an interview with Puella Magi Madoka Magica director Akiyuki Shinbo. According to the feature, the first film is aimed for this fall.
The official Twitter account for the Inu X Boku Secret Service television anime series announced on Tuesday that the anime's seventh Blu-ray Disc/DVD volume will include an unaired episode 13. Original manga creator Cocoa Fujiwara wrote the new scenario for the episode and designed a new character, Hana-chan (pictured right). The popular manga character Futago will also appear in the episode.
Since I'm really enjoying this one, I really hope Sentai includes this in their release whenever it comes out.

Does anyone know what anime this picture is from? I don't watch a ton of anime,a little but not much. That has nothing to do with this though so anyways - I've been drawn to this picture ever since I found it randomly online somewhere when I was maybe thirteen or so? Even had it framed for a while. Here's the picture. Any info would be so entirely appreciated.
Sentai Filmworks announced on Wednesday that it has licensed the second season of the Phi Brain: Puzzle of God (Phi Brain: Kami no Puzzle) television anime series. The Anime Network and "other digital outlets" will stream the 25-episode sequel series online. Sentai Filmworks will then release the series on home video later this year.
The anime's first season follows Kaito, a puzzle-loving freshman at the private high school named "Root Academy." He is selected as a candidate for "Phi Brain" for his extraordinary mental skills. One day, he and his childhood friend Nonoha tackle the "unsolvable puzzle" hidden in the underground ruins near the school. They are guided by the mobile device given to Kaito by the student council president.
In the second season, the story continues to revolve around the Orpheus bangle and Phi Brain, but the puzzle battles heat up. A new enemy, a group of boys named Orpheus Order, appears before Kaito and the others, and the battles begin anew.
The new season will premiere in Japan on April 8. Sentai Filmworks licensed licensed the first season, and The Anime Network is streaming the first television season online. The first season's final episode, which was delayed by one week, will air on April 1.
The staff and cast of the Puella Magi Madoka Magica anime franchise announced the titles of the first Madoka Magica film's two parts during their Anime Contents Expo stage event on Sunday. The first part is titled "Hajimari no Monogatari" (Beginning Story), while the second part is titled "Eien no Monogatari" (Eternal Story). Producer Atsuhiro Iwakami had revealed last November that the film project will have a two-part compilation of the original television series, followed by an all-new story. The Ch?nichi Shimbun paper had also revealed earlier this month that the first film will open this fall.
The Animate store chain sold advance tickets to the two-part compilation in a special set (pictured above) with two crystal prints at Anime Contents Expo.

Yay!
It's getting a simulcast!
This is one of the ones I really wanted to see this season.
Discovered today that all of the episodes of Fullmetal Alchemist are on Hulu. Planning on watching them to see if the show lives up to the hype that I've heard about it.
Ahh.
I suggest watching the first FMA first, it has much better character development, though it deviates from the manga story to create its own.
The first 13 or so episodes of Brotherhood are extremely rushed and kind of assume that you've seen the first series.
The later episodes are really epic though.
Finished up DVD 2 of the Puella Magi Madoka Magica dub.
The dub is actually turning out rather well, and has definitely hit it's stride, which is kind of nice, since these later episodes really benefit from having a a more than lackluster performance from the cast.
That being said though, I can't flippin' wait until June when the last set is released!
The North American anime distributor FUNimation Entertainment announced the English dub cast for its upcoming release of the Panty & Stocking with Garterbelt television anime series at Anime Central on Saturday.
The dub cast is as follows:
• Fastener – Christopher Bevins • Corset – Chris Ayres • Scanty – Colleen Clinkenbeard • Kneesocks – Cherami Leigh • Brief – Joel McDonald • Chuck – Ian Sinclair • Garterbelt – Christopher R. Sabat • Stocking – Monica Rial • Panty – Jamie Marchi

Studio Gainax's 13-episode Panty & Stocking with Garterbelt television anime series originally aired in October-December 2010. The story centers around a teen-celebrity-like blond-haired girl named Panty and a black-haired Goth Loli girl named Stocking. The two are angels sent from the heavens to battle the "Ghosts" on Earth. Crunchyroll streamed the series in various countries outside of Japan as it aired.
Funimation will release the series on limited-edition DVD on July 10.
The ongoing Dusk Maiden of Amnesia television anime will have six Blu-ray Disc/DVD volumes that will begin shipping in Japan on June 27, and the last monthly volume will have an unaired 13th episode. The first five volumes will have two episodes, while the last volume will have the 11th and 12th television episodes along with the unaired episode.
Since Sentai picked this up, I hope this gets included in their release, as I'm rather enjoying this one so far.

Artist Eric Maruscak spends 29 hours on 9' x 12' "Madoka Magica" chalk art
During last weekend's Anime Central convention in Rosemont, Illinois, illustrator Eric Maruscak created the 9' wide x 12' tall Madoka Magica chalk art mural. The work took 7 hours to sketch, and an additional 22 hours to color live on the show floor, for a total of just under 29 hours from start to finish. Watch the whole process in time lapse below.
