The PlayStation 2 is considered retro to me, so it is allowed. PS2 and anything before is retro. PC games during or before 2000 are retro as well.

Hey there, I hate to be annoying, but I'm having a hard time finding a video game from my childhood. It was a PC game, my best guess would be 1995. It was an educational game that my brother used to have me play all the time. You would use a microphone to speak to this penguin/dolphin looking hybrid thing. There was learning to spell and things like that too. I know it's a real shot in the dark asking for something so insignificant to most people, but if anyone has a clue what I'm talking about, it'd be awesome. I think the little character's name was flipper. This was a good 16 years ago, so my memory's fuzzy :x

To me, The legend of zelda: a link to the past is still a milestone in my personal gaming history, as is killer instinct (might play a bit of that later on).
anyone a fan of those retro game collections some companies release for newer consoles.
I bought a sega retro collection (32 games) for the xbox360 and it felt really good to finally play some streets of rage again
Also, a friend of mine found a store where they sold new sega megadrive consoles, compatible with old game cartridges, with 20 games pre-installed on the machine itself and with wireless megadrive controllers. It's farkin' awesome!
And another friend of mine has 2 game 'n watch handhelds lying about in working condition. It's mindblowing how far things have come in my lifetime

"Wood & Water Rage " I remember that game! OMG the last time I played it I believe I was 7, wow...that felt like forever ago...I had soo much trouble playing that game. As for Killer Instinct someone mentioned earlier, I love that game I can still play it pretty decently. I usually play as Orchid I used to hate those godamn combo breakers, lol.
My most prized possessions are my Atari, NES, SNES, N64, Playstation, Playstation 2, Gamecube and 4 Gameboys. They're better than PS3 and all those newer consoles ANY DAY!
got to love the classics they where the foundation for all modern games with that being said star fox 64 and final fantasy 8 could play them both all day long lol
