i'm looking through my iTunes library and i'm realising that i don't have ANY good goth music. i'm having trouble finding bands that i like.

The original poster wanted Goth suggestions, if she'd wanted crappy metalcore she'd have asked for it in the appropriate forum.

Anyway, to the OP, I would recommend Voices Of Masada and Libitina :-)

Big Electric Cat was a 90's goth rock band..

And they were damn good..



You should be able to find Eyelash or Dreams of a Mad King on Ebay, or various other online sites that sell used cd's. As for getting them new, I believe both albums are out of print but I could be wrong.

And no goth cd collection is complete without Psycho Magnet from London After Midnight..



It has a handful of songs that were goth club faves in the 90's.. such as the one above..

I don't think of them as wholly Goth but I think Anathema's song Lost Control is haunting and moving and yes in my opinion Goth it evokes a deep response in me.

If you count Gothic metal I'd go with Lacrimosa. Though personally I've never regarded them as metal.

Other than that only real Goth band I still enjoy is Fields of the Nephilim.
